i always come every once and a while to get the captain club very tasty sandwhiche. I came Yesterday at around like 1:30 everything was good until i woke up this morning feeling very nauseous not feeling well This was the only food i put in my stomach from the time i got it until now, i feel like this place needs to be Health inspected very carefully. I once came in here a while ago & i seen something just sitting out on the slicer in the back who knows how long its been sitting but i fear its cross contamination & food born illness going around this establishment. I forgot how much I loved Firehouse subs. Their Philly cheesesteak with that house sauce is the most divine thing. The philly steak and cheese was so well seasoned, so perfectly made. My family and I have eaten at this particular location because aside from maybe one time where there was a little lapse in communication they get the order just right. This location, which I have previously reviewed, has a totally new staff. After a long hiatus I am back and eating there. In the past, the tables have been dirty and the wait times extremely long. I have been to various Firehouse subs throughout the country. Usually known for cleanliness and good customer service. This location felt foreign to me. I didn't hold it against them for being out of turkey, peppers and several basic items. I do hold it against them for being the dirtiest Firehouse sub I have ever been. The floors were disgusting, trash on counters and tables, the bathrooms were a possible crime scene. I was afraid of slipping due to how greasy the floors were. This was my first time at Firehouse Subs and although the menu seemed a little overwhelming to me at first, I chose to order from the pick-two menu. My sandwich was delicious but unfortunately the mac and cheese was room temperature and I could tell it had been sitting around for a little while. At the time there was no in-dining available, but social distancing measures were followed and all employees were wearing masks. Firehouse Subs is one of my favorite sandwich shops. I was just there the service was not good. The lady at the register taking the orders had a very unpleasant look while taking orders. Then the quality of the sandwich was so disappointing the lettuce I could tell is old. So sad to see such a good establishment go down the drain. For the past 3 visits the customer service has been seriously lacking. I've gone in to place an order and each time they make zero effort to stop what they're doing to take the order even though I'm the only person in there. They were either off to the side "cleaning", filling a large mayo jar, talking off to the side, or "cooking". They make eye contact but continue on with whatever they are doing as if taking my order is not worth the time nor effort. I'm a patient person but their actions coming off extremely rude. No greeting, no hold a sec, no I'll be with you in a minute. Just brief eye contact and carry on. Two out of the three visits they didn't have exactly what I wanted but I still ordered anyway just to have them mess it up. I won't be visiting this particular establishment again. Today I decided to order a full size tuna sub, figuring that if I ordered something that is out of the scope of what I would generally get I'll probably have a decent sub this time around along with 2 oatmeal cookies. I started with a bite of my cookie, immediately you can taste the staleness and crumbliness of it. As for my sub, the tuna was watery/runny with no type of flavor, but it did have a hint of sweetness... where did that come from, I have no idea and it didn't make the sub taste any better. The bun was hard and dry, I tried going home to doctor up my sub... unfortunately nothing I tried could fix it. I don't think I'll be visiting firehouse any time soon or in the near future due to these back to back experiences and spending a good amount of money on food for me and my family and it ends up going to waste because the food nasty. Within the span of 3 months I've wasted over 100.00 at Firehouse and my family and I didn't find the food to be enjoyable. Don't get me wrong this location is my home store and I've visited other Firehouse restaurants as well to order food and I have always been a satisfied customer with very high reviews to give. I've probably ordered from Firehouse over 70 times in 6 months and these last 3 times really put a foul taste in my mouth about the quality of their food. This place serves a great hot sub and the flavors that are combined with all the different meats are to die for. When I want a hot sub I head over to this place for a hook and ladder. You can add or ommit any condiment and the food is always served hot. This is near I-75 on exit 218. read more

I feel sad that I even have to write this review right now. This is a prime example of the world we live in and it's disgusting. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite on our way to the beach. One of the first things we noticed is NOBODY greeted us. The store was pretty empty yet nobody said a word. Both my husband and I are African American yet everybody working there is white. Nobody even awknowledged us when we got to the register. No hello, how you doing, may I take your order- nothing. It was as if we were bothering them being there. After we awkwardly ordered our sandwiches, a white family walked in. Low and behold EVERYONE working greeted them with the standard Firehouse greeting that I assume is required. They were asked how they were doing and actually awknowledged, while we weren't. Leaving was just as bad. And the whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable and sad.
