This why you should always look at your food,SMDH burger was made wrong and it was slight pink.

Th service was fast. I ordered one of their trays, that came with a burger and I could choose two sides, which were cheese curds and onion rings. As pictured I didn't get many of either. They were good though. The burger was over cooked not so good. Portion size could be better and the burger could be cooked better.

Perfect fast food pit stop! Also for the indecisive ones, this place is for you... I got the tray meal with a spicy chicken sandwich, a corn dog and onion rings for my sides and a strawberry snickers milkshake. Cheap, easy & delish! Chicken nuggets are also pictured

Was water and maggots on floor, was not noticed till in the middle of my meal and was not given a requested refund!

This is not my first go round at Cook Out. My first visit was at the Northside Dr. location in West Midtown. A friend of mine raved about Cook Out, (new to Atlanta at the time), so I thought I would try it. I don't remember my entire order, but, I do remember I ordered a shake. I was not very impressed. After that, the restaurant was not on my radar, until early Tuesdaymorning, then again for lunch, and then again today (for lunch). I know, I know...WHY?!?! Well, the food is actually pretty good, and so were my milkshakes. My orders consisted of "The Tray". Cheeseburger, fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets, strawberry milkshake, peanut milkshake. Clearly, I had a moment. For the win... Friendly service Fresh food Fast service Temperature of the food-decent Disappointment... The value-quantity Please tell me, why are fast-food restaurants holding the fries hostage?!?! Give me all my fries according to the size I ordered. That's all.

I've never been much for cookout. Though a northeastern fast food staple, this regional restaurant has grown on me. Cookouts in general deliver on their park bar b que lane of fast food. You know; dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, milkshakes, ect... Though nothing to write home about this restaurant is known for their awesome milkshakes and this location in particular for its customer service. As with all cookouts this location had a chic fila like drive through line wrapped around the building. They quickly adopted the chicken sandwich bullies on the block's time efficient order policy. Several attendants took orders prior to getting to the menu order machine and, pick up window making the wait time very quick. I ordered 2 corn dogs, onion rings and a banana & pineapple milkshake (pure deliciousness. Milkshake that is). The food was decent. It came out fresh & hot but, about what you'd expect out of park food in taste. My total for the meal came out to $6.41 so I recieved a fair amount of food for my buck. All in all, I'm not much of a fan of cookouts but, I definitely would come back to this location for the customer service and milkshakes alone. However, if you do dig cookout franchises and you're ever in the area then this is a highly recommended location for you.

The wife had the bacon cheddar melt meal and I had the 2 scoops and 1 side. We added one drink to share. Total was $28.26 and more than enough food. I had to help her finish hers. Hehe. The scoops I got were the jalapeño holly and kickin Kay. Both were phenomenal. The beverage machine was nice and clean also. I can't speak for the restroom as I didn't have to go. Needless to say we will be a returning customer. Keep up the great work!

Their website is great, as you can place your order online and pick it up a short time later. Not wanting fast food, nor a sit-down restaurant, I came across Chicken salad chick. It was a great compromise to traditional fast food. Honestly, these are my favorite daily types of restaurants. I was able to order my sandwich online, customize it with a side, and pick it up fairly quickly. They have an area to pick up your online order, so you don't have to wait in the order line. This area of McDonough gets so congested and even though there are many food options, this restaurant does not disappoint. You can sit down here and have a wonderful relaxing lunch in the colorful restaurant. The sandwich I chose was the Fancy Nancy, and was very tasty. the cranberries, apples, grapes and pecans were a great mixture to the chicken salad. This was not a regular traditional chicken salad sandwich, as it has a lot of chicken in there, which helps to fill you up. I also added a cup of their loaded Potato soup which was amazing! The best part of my meal was that it came with a mini buttercream frosted cookie! That was such a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to trying more of their food options in the future.

Welcome back to the table…read more I find that most people dismiss rotisserie chicken as "basic," but finding one that is actually seasoned through to the bone is harder than it should be. I stopped by the Cowboy Chicken in McDonough looking for something reliable, and it delivered that specific, wood-fired comfort that's hard to replicate at home. The vibe is laid-back and rustic exactly what you'd expect from a spot centered around an open flame. The Spread We didn't hold back on the order, covering everything from the signature rotisserie to the brisket and bowls. The Signature Chicken: They use a dry rub and slow-roast the meat over real wood. The result is a juicy, tender interior with skin that carries a slight, salty crispness. What stood out most was the flavor penetration; the seasoning wasn't just sitting on the surface. Unlike many rotisserie spots where the center feels neglected or underdone, this was consistent throughout. It holds its own without needing sauce. The Sides: The Spanish Rice surprised me. Fluffy, well-seasoned, shelly in texture, and the addition of corn gave it a nice sweetness. The Mac and Cheese was a bit of a curveball; it's more on the liquid, saucy side, but the flavor builds on you the more you eat. The fries were perfect and held a solid crisp even after sitting for a bit. We ended up getting a second basket of Fries because the crunch held up beautifully, even as they cooled down. The Coleslaw will be a hit or miss for some, we had mixed reviews. The shredded cabbage was thicker than normal but the other half of the table it was perfect. Tinga Bowl ($14.00): If you want something that feels a bit lighter but still packs a punch, this is it. The shredded chicken has a balanced kick, paired with corn relish, black beans, and a sprinkle of "Cowboy Dust" for heat. It's refreshing but filling. Layered with rice, beans, corn relish, avocado, crema it all balances out. Not heavy, but still satisfying. Brisket Sandwich (13.75: The bread was lightly toasted, cradling pulled brisket that was smoky and not juicy because we needed sauce for it but the flavor was there. Crispy Tenders ($13.25): These were a table favorite. They nailed the external crunch without sacrificing the moisture of the chicken inside.Crunch on the outside, seasoned all the way through, and still tender inside. The Sweet Finish I'm officially a fan of their Texas Peach Cobbler. It leans more cake-like than soupy, which I prefer. It tasted fresh, warm and held its structure, making it a solid closer for a heavy meal. Service & Value The moment we walked in, the staff offered a genuine verbal welcome. The service was efficient, and the restaurant maintained a clean, organized look despite the steady flow of customers. At roughly $14-$15 for a plate with two sides and a roll, the portion size makes the pricing very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Table Approved This is the spot for a high-quality, fuss-free family dinner or a solo lunch when you're craving real wood-fired flavor without the fast food aftertaste. It's dependable, flavorful, and worth a visit for the chicken alone. Follow along where food meets adventure - Shallonz Table.

Cowboy Chicken in McDonough is a great spot for a hearty, comforting meal!…read more I tried several items during my visit -- the roasted chicken, brisket sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and even one of their desserts -- and everything was flavorful and satisfying. The chicken was juicy with that nice smoky flavor, and the brisket sandwich was surprisingly tender. The sides felt fresh and homemade, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finish. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere has a cozy, down-to-earth vibe that makes you feel right at home. The only reason it's not a full five stars is because a couple of items could've used just a bit more seasoning, but overall the meal was really enjoyable. If you're craving good comfort food and solid rotisserie chicken, Cowboy Chicken is definitely worth a stop!

The place has that clean, modern vibe with the smell of fresh bread drifting through the air -- the kind of spot that immediately feels like a good choice. I started with the Shrimp Spring Rolls, and they were a perfect warm-up: fresh, tightly wrapped, and loaded with crisp veggies and plump shrimp. The dipping sauce brought everything together with that sweet-savory balance that keeps you going back for another bite. For my main, I went with the B2. Grilled Pork Bánh Mì, and this sandwich was the star. The bread was perfectly toasted -- crunchy on the outside, soft inside -- and the grilled pork had that caramelized, smoky flavor that makes a bánh mì worth the trip. Paired with the pickled veggies and cilantro, every bite had that classic Vietnamese balance of sweet, salty, and tangy. To top it off, I ordered the Strawberry Milk Slush, and it was refreshing, creamy, and just sweet enough. Not heavy, just a smooth finish that hit the spot. Overall, PARIS BáNH Mì made my wait feel like a treat instead of a chore. Great food, quick service, and a menu that makes you want to come back and try more. **This is for their second food truck located in the BP gas station parking lot off exit-201**…read more My notes on this place are on the picky side, on the boarder of personal tastes...because they are putting in the effort of kicking out some good food. Everything that came out was freshly fried and made with well maintained toppings/ingredients. So no complaints at all there. Burgers-My only note would be to season the meat with some burger seasoning once it's on the flat top. The bun is perfect, the veg is cold, the sauces are saucy and you take a bit of it all looking for the juicy flavorful combo but the meat just misses that mark. It doesn't need much...just a little shake of seasoning to round it all out. Mozza sticks and mac&cheese bits...have no notes, they were fried to order and came out screamin' hot...dipped in GGs sauce or the White Sauce was perfect. Sauces- GG sauce is a mayo, sriracha and sweet chili sauce mix...there may be other things in it too, but those are the top 3. White Sauce is their take on an Alabama white sauce...but this one is less vinegar and more creamy because of the mayo. Little bit of heat, but not what I would call spicy. I-75 Loaded fries...were loaded up! How the fries managed to stay crispy for as long as they did-with all the cheese and sauce defies logic. The jalapeños make this dish on the hotter side, so if you don't like heat...you should order it without them-because they don't skimp on them. Honestly this could have done without the hot Cheetos-they didn't really add to it other than color and they got mushy quick. We also got the beefy/steak rice bowl, but it was for my husband's meal prep the next day. It wouldn't be fair to review based on him eating it a day later...so I'm going to leave that review out. We did see several people ordering it while we waited...so I'm thinking it's a favorite. It's a food truck-not fast food so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for our order. The crew working it were all nice and our food was well packaged so we suffered zero losses. We will be stopping by and trying all their chicken options for our next round!
