In a culture where professionalism, customer service and being pleasant seems to be a dying breed it was a joy to meet Soraya when I entered this place. She exuded all the attributes that would cause me to be a repeat customer and I really enjoyed her tremendously. She gave me some great suggestions on and answered my questions on the sandwich and salad that I chose. The Jalapeño Turkey Crunch, tea mango drink and Soujthwest Chicken Salad was delicious. It's super cold in the dining area, we had to sit outside or take our food to go. The dining room is very clean and the employees were professional. The food had good flavor and was very fresh which was good considering it took us 15 mins to get and we were the only people in line at the time. The price was way up the for a two person lunch at $32. I might would come back but I will not frequent this establishment based on price alone. Terrible idea to dine here today. Trash at the counter area, light out in the ladies restroom. We were told after we ordered that we could NOT dine inside. We were told we could sit outside! ??? I haven't had McAlister's Deli in quite some time. I quickly forgot how good the sandwiches and selection of soups and salads this deli had. I quickly looked over the menu and went with the grilled chicken sandwich on a croissant with a side of toriila soup. The croissant was so soft and buttery delicious I felt like slapping somebody..Lolol definitely wasn't going to slap myself. The tortilla soup was just ok. Nothing to brag about the broth was too thick for my liking, but I managed to finish it anyway. The soup came with a side of tortilla chips , which made it easier to consume. The service was quick and easy to place your order. The cashier was very patient and friendly. The ambiance was very quiet and chill, thank goodness. Upon entrance I noticed how clean it is. Spacious and everything is orderly and up to date an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a lunch . You order from the counter, everyone is super friendly and helpful as it was our first time here. The menu is huge and everything looks delicious. This place is such a nice addition to the area. They offer so many options for soup, chill, salads, sandwiches, and spuds. I have dined here a handful of times and it is always clean with nice and efficient service. I have tried their meat chili, club sandwich, Italian sandwich, and few of their spud options and everything I have ordered tastes great. They have a drive thru that you can order from, but I have always ate in the restaurant as there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The best thing about McAlister's Deli is the sweet tea. I work really close to McAlister's and sadly, it took me 4 years to try it. I have no idea why I waited so long ... I guess I never knew what I was missing. I ordered the BLT and it was fantastic! She was doing a great job despite the store being short staffed and out of some Menu items. The manager yelled at her in front of us and treated her in a very disrespectful manner. I have tried to go here multiple times, and I have never been able to eat here. They are ALWAYS extremely short staffed. The wait for your food is insanely long from what I've been told. Tonight we stood at the cash register for 15 minutes before the cashier could even acknowledge us. Once she did she said they were not doing any more of their spuds for the evening. It was an hour and a half before they closed. As someone with celiacs disease there are only certain things I can eat so this is frustrating.
