Roast beef and horseradish sandwich on ciabatta bread. The other sandwich was the signature club sandwich.

It's super cold in the dining area, we had to sit outside or take our food to go. The dining room is very clean and the employees were professional. The food had good flavor and was very fresh which was good considering it took us 15 mins to get and we were the only people in line at the time. The price was way up the for a two person lunch at $32. I might would come back but I will not frequent this establishment based on price alone. We ordered the Roast beef and horseradish sandwich on ciabatta bread. The other sandwich was the signature club sandwich and we both tried the Mac and cheese for a side. I believe it was a smoked Gouda Mac and would have been better if it were hot. Overall it was a decent experience, nice place and good flavors.

OMG!!. Trash in the counter area.

Terrible idea to dine here today. Trash at the counter area, light out in the ladies restroom. We were told after we ordered that we could NOT dine inside. We were told we could sit outside! ??? Health Score =88/B. They were out of bacon, soup and mac n cheese. It is 7:21 pm on a Saturday. So disappointing. The young woman at the register was timid but friendly. It seems only 3 people were working. Then I was told the tea was low and it would take awhile to make more.

Chicken tortilla soup and half grilled chicken sandwich

I haven't had McAlister's Deli in quite some time. I quickly forgot how good the sandwiches and selection of soups and salads this deli had. I quickly looked over the menu and went with the grilled chicken sandwich on a croissant with a side of toriila soup. The croissant was so soft and buttery delicious I felt like slapping somebody..Lolol definitely wasn't going to slap myself. The tortilla soup was just ok. Nothing to brag about the broth was too thick for my liking, but I managed to finish it anyway. The soup came with a side of tortilla chips , which made it easier to consume. The service was quick and easy to place your order. The cashier was very patient and friendly. The ambiance was very quiet and chill, thank goodness. McAlister's was very clean and organized, which I like. I'm definitely returning whenever I'm in the area.

Upon entrance I noticed how clean it is. Spacious and everything is orderly and up to date an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a lunch . You order from the counter, everyone is super friendly and helpful as it was our first time here. The menu is huge and everything looks delicious. We ordered a sweet and smokey chicken sandwich,a chili, and small coke. Also a new Yorker sandwich, and a tea. Everything was delicious and came out in like 5 minutes. I highly recommend it!

So when I saw this place I was super excited to try it. I placed an online order so it would be ready for pick up. It said it would be ready at 12:46pm got there at 1pm had to wait an additional 20 mins for them to make the order. I did the build your own salad which ended up being $20 and i paid for both chicken and shrimp. I only received the shrimp. There's at least 2 signs that say no refunds which I think is strange for a place that sells food. The chicken noodle soup wasn't good and neither was my salad which was also disappointing. The shrimp still had the peel on so you have to un peal it before u can even start eating which is annoying. Overall i don't think I'll be back to try this place again.

Welcome back to the table…read more I find that most people dismiss rotisserie chicken as "basic," but finding one that is actually seasoned through to the bone is harder than it should be. I stopped by the Cowboy Chicken in McDonough looking for something reliable, and it delivered that specific, wood-fired comfort that's hard to replicate at home. The vibe is laid-back and rustic exactly what you'd expect from a spot centered around an open flame. The Spread We didn't hold back on the order, covering everything from the signature rotisserie to the brisket and bowls. The Signature Chicken: They use a dry rub and slow-roast the meat over real wood. The result is a juicy, tender interior with skin that carries a slight, salty crispness. What stood out most was the flavor penetration; the seasoning wasn't just sitting on the surface. Unlike many rotisserie spots where the center feels neglected or underdone, this was consistent throughout. It holds its own without needing sauce. The Sides: The Spanish Rice surprised me. Fluffy, well-seasoned, shelly in texture, and the addition of corn gave it a nice sweetness. The Mac and Cheese was a bit of a curveball; it's more on the liquid, saucy side, but the flavor builds on you the more you eat. The fries were perfect and held a solid crisp even after sitting for a bit. We ended up getting a second basket of Fries because the crunch held up beautifully, even as they cooled down. The Coleslaw will be a hit or miss for some, we had mixed reviews. The shredded cabbage was thicker than normal but the other half of the table it was perfect. Tinga Bowl ($14.00): If you want something that feels a bit lighter but still packs a punch, this is it. The shredded chicken has a balanced kick, paired with corn relish, black beans, and a sprinkle of "Cowboy Dust" for heat. It's refreshing but filling. Layered with rice, beans, corn relish, avocado, crema it all balances out. Not heavy, but still satisfying. Brisket Sandwich (13.75: The bread was lightly toasted, cradling pulled brisket that was smoky and not juicy because we needed sauce for it but the flavor was there. Crispy Tenders ($13.25): These were a table favorite. They nailed the external crunch without sacrificing the moisture of the chicken inside.Crunch on the outside, seasoned all the way through, and still tender inside. The Sweet Finish I'm officially a fan of their Texas Peach Cobbler. It leans more cake-like than soupy, which I prefer. It tasted fresh, warm and held its structure, making it a solid closer for a heavy meal. Service & Value The moment we walked in, the staff offered a genuine verbal welcome. The service was efficient, and the restaurant maintained a clean, organized look despite the steady flow of customers. At roughly $14-$15 for a plate with two sides and a roll, the portion size makes the pricing very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Table Approved This is the spot for a high-quality, fuss-free family dinner or a solo lunch when you're craving real wood-fired flavor without the fast food aftertaste. It's dependable, flavorful, and worth a visit for the chicken alone. Follow along where food meets adventure - Shallonz Table.

The service I received here was 1000x better than my first experience! I ordered the #1 Rib dish with collard greens, cabbage and curry chickpeas. I thought the rib bone was sugar cane, but it's not. I'm actually not sure what it is but assume it's casava/yucca. What a nice treat to add more food to the plate. The ribs were delicious, curry chickpeas outstanding, cabbage really good but wasn't expecting them to be fried and collards were good. The toast was toast. Overall, I give my meal an A+. I was unable to eat it all in one sitting, nice bonus in today's environment. Now that they have a dedicated space for the vegan food and service was great there, I would return. Thank you for turning things around. There are so few options for vegan food in McDonough.

But I'm always up to driving a little bit for some great vegan food. Definitely missed the driveway, regardless of the reviews I read! Nothing a quick turn around couldn't fix. Came on a Tuesday around 1:15. One person ahead of me and it took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. So I sat at the table and enjoyed the music from next door! Even with my stalking, it still took me a minute to figure out what to order. The Moxtails are what drew me in. Also knew I wanted to please my inner fat girl and order two plates! LOL Rib Trash Plate - 3 sides that are included. Ribs - liked the texture and flavor. You're mostly tasting the BBQ sauce, a little flavor from their choice of protein but I appreciated the texture. Collard greens - Love that they don't taste like the greens I make. They have mushrooms in them. Also have this sweet and savory taste to them. Not traditionally flavored but delicious! Mac and cheese - made with nuts as posted, I'm assuming cashews but didn't confirm. Pretty good flavor, I don't mind it at all! Quinoa and chickpeas - multicolored quinoa, good flavors. I'd order it again. Not a bunch of flavor but expected that. Type of side that I get for the healthy factor vs the flavor. Moxtails - 2 sides included. Let me first say that the flavor of the Moxtails was very good. I was expecting there to be something in it that resembled oxtails' texture, so it was lacking in that area. The dish has chick peas, potatoes, carrots, celery, peppers, and onions. With the amount of gravy, I would have expected more rice but it was like a small spoonful. Guessing the peas and corn were included in the rice but not for sure. Cabbage - I'm a fan. Gives me this stir fry vibe with an almost smoke/char flavor. I will say that it was pretty greasy after take a few bites. I looked underneath the cabbage and sure enough there was a good bit of grease. Okra was good as well. Nothing special that makes it stand out, but good flavor nonetheless. I would order it again. Overall, I like this place and would definitely come again if I was in the area.

At first I thought the prices were a little high but then I saw what all we got and it was well worth what they charge. We actually were confused at first by the Vegan trailer outside. I assumed they cooked in the house and sold out of the food trailer but that is a whole separate business, when I asked for meat they said "over there." We went inside the house and we were greeted by 2 nice beautiful ladies that explained all our questions, as it was our first trip in, and we put our order in. There is a good bit of room inside if you want to dine in but we were on the road so Togo it was. We ordered the 2 ribs lunch, a half rack which was 6 bones and the pork sandwich. I got the hot bbq on the half rack and it was actually medium in hotness just fyi.
