Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there bad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I went on a date recently to this restaurant and we had a TIME! While my date made a reservation, we didn't need it. Upon entrance, we were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't very crowded. Our waitress was great. Very high energy. She offered great recommendations. Everything was perfect. We ordered Cheesy Bread as an appetizer and we split a Philly Fry Pie pizza! I was in the area and really wanted some pizza. After performing a Yelp search, Crust & Craft captured my attention and I was in route. As Crust & Craft sits in the square and it was at night, parking was easy to find as there was ample street parking available. Once parked, I headed towards Crust & Craft and was excited to see the outdoor seating options. Though it was a chilly night, it wasn't cold and they have the huge heating lamps as well. Walking in, the Crust & Craft ambiance was super vibrant, very bright, and the establishment was very clean. As it was not too far from closing time I decided to sit at the bar as I was ready to eat. lol. The bartender was super nice. She welcomed me in with a smile and gave me a moment to cruise the menu. Though the menu has a variety of options I wanted pizzaaaaaaaaaa. Ha. I placed my order for a Sweet Tea and Pepperoni Pizza and was on my way to hunger satisfaction. The wait wasn't long at all and the pizza was fresh. I ordered mine well done and the assignment was deeply understood. Thank you to the chef for this well done perfection. The pepperoni was crispy on the edges and moist and meaty in the middle. They were flavorful and covered the entire pizza. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect for the crust and allowed each layer of the pizza to have a moment of shine. Based on this initial experience, I have fallen in love with Crust & Craft. The service was good. The pizza was amazing. And the ambiance was a hit. I loved the variety of the music playlist as well. This was def a great choice and I am now a fan. Late night after church outing with my brother and I was extremely SATISFIED! First time at Crust and Craft and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the ambiance and I felt so welcomed by the staff that greeted us. Music was playing and the vibes were positive. We decided to sit at the bar and we were greeted AGAIN and given menus to review. For my first time, I just stuck to the basics, a pepperoni pizza and then i ordered an Arnold Palmer for my drink. Of course the drinks came out first and oh boy, was my Arnold Palmer good! These are sometimes a hit and miss so I was super excited that it HIT! I loved trying Crust and Craft for the first time after visiting the Craft Market this past weekend. The Ambiance is fine casual with outdoor seating, bar area, and dining area near the pizza ovens. I can sum it up real quick A1 all the way around! My son picked this spot for our Mommy/Son date. Walking up nice patio, heated lamps for the dare devi, you walk in nice and cozy. Fully stocked bar, with a nice variety of beers. Thry have the open kitchen style, where you can see the ovens the pizzas are cooked in. Not to big, nor to small of a place, nice amount of seating. The staff was nice and we where seated quickly! Our server way wonderful(hate I forgot her name ‍), she was helpful, and stayed checking on us. The food was yummy and everything came out hot. We started with The Goat and Mussels Diablo, then ordered a Truffle Mushroom pizza. We thought we where going to order another pizza but we found ourselves full. Baby boy had sweet tea that he kept saying was so go and myself I had water and a alcoholic beverage called the Jake Peach Cobbler... baby Nice!!!! Table for 2 for Lunch Approaching the restaurant, we were lucky to find an available parking spot on the street. No charge for parking on the weekend, in the McDonough Square. We took the short walk over to the restaurant. We entered and passed the patio, even though that is really where we wanted to sit, and headed over to the hostess podium. We advised our preference was to sit outside. She let us know that it is first come, first serve out there. We could seat ourselves and a server would be with us soon. She gave us menus and silverware, and we found a perfect table for 2 up against the wall. The patio was so cool with a great view of the square. Our server came over pretty quickly and wiped down our table that had a nice layer of Georgia  spring pollen on it. We quickly reviewed the beer list. Wifey ordered a Monday Night Brewery Taco Tuesday and I ordered a Wild Leap Island Haze. I needed a few more minutes to decide what I wanted to eat. When our beer arrived, we were both ready with our food order. Wifey went with her favorite Margarita Pizza and I chose to "Build My Own";  with grilled chicken, bacon, and jalapenos.  We were enjoying the patio, and before we knew it, the pizzas were coming to the table. Wifey loved her pizza, and mine was good as well, but I wanted my crust a little more crispy. Nonetheless, I did enjoy it. This place is a winner, and we will be back to try some other options. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because of the sorry excuse for a Caesar salad they served. I mean I know restaurants want to save money but I wish they would just leave it off the menu instead of service day old iceberg lettuce with tons of dressing and croutons. It just took away from the meal overall. However, from the drinks, to the mcdodoughs, to the street taco pie, this is where they hit home. The pizzas are "advertised" as a medium but are a small pizza. Not a personal pan, a solid small pizza. Explains why everyone has their own but the price explains why they try to advertise it as a medium. Anywho the kids got the pepperoni purist and the adults shared a street taco pie after having the salad, skip, and the mcdodoughs, a must try. Even the drink special which was a pineapple based cocktail was good. And our waitress was great. Made a reservation, got there literally a few minutes from the rest of my party and saw another bigger group get the table I'm sure was reserved for us but we didn't have to wait long for another table. First time here and I think realistically, I'd go with a 3, but 4 would be sufficient because I'm confident there are other items on the menu that can make up for the ones that were a little lackluster. Parking: It is a bit tricky because it's in the square, so parking can definitely be difficult. Parking is free M-F after 5pm. We had to park further down in a lot and walk to the restaurant which didn't take too long. I can definitely see it being a nightmare some nights though. Service: The service was decent. She was kind and helpful with suggestions. Nothing else super amazing to note. Ambiance: Ambiance is decent, there are a good bit of tables with a couple large TVs inside to watch games. There's bar and outdoor seating as well. Food: - "Jalapeño" Poppers: I use quotes cause it really should be called a Bacon Popper. It seems to be two large servings in egg roll form cut in three or 3 small servings in an egg roll form cut in half. Served on a bed of lettuce with more bacon sprinkled over the top. Trust me, I LOVE bacon, but I LOVE jalapeños just as much. So, it left me kind of wanting more. - Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza: Definitely a good pizza, and we added a buffalo drizzle on top. I'd just say the cutting is really uneven as well as the spread of the toppings. It's nice and crisp on the edges but the bottom gets soggy as you get closer to the center. - Funnel Cake Fries: I'd probably tell you to skip these. They sound cool, but they just feel like an after thought with how they are prepared. Trust me, I know they're fries, but they soaked up quite a bit of oil. So, it wasn't the most pleasant to eat. Chocolate dipping sauce was great! Would've liked to see an option of maybe a fruit-based dipping sauce? Again, it's a good place, I'd give the experience a 3, but I know for sure there are other things they do well so I'll leave it at 4. I will be back. read more

The staff and service were great. The food, however, not so much. I was excited to try the shrimp pizza being that I don't eat any other meat. The dough of the pizza was extremely tuff. Ok so here's the thing,the Seafood Boil pizza was good but could be great if they make minor tweaks. Now personally i could have done without the large potatoes as I felt it was a tad too much. It was more of a flatbread than the texture of a pizza I also felt if the pizza had a drizzle of a creamy old bay sauce would have set it off. Now the spinach dip taste like spinach soup. The bread bowl was the best part. The consistency of the the dip was also very watery. It was sadly disappointing. We had nearly 30 people for a work event dinner and the service and food was terrific. Both servers, the bartender, and even the managers made sure we were well taken care of and never in need of water or a cocktail.
