Decided to stop by with my son and my brother for dinner about two weeks ago. The food was good, but the service was lacking. When we came in, there was a party seated. Our server, an older gentleman, spent the majority of his time conversing with this party and also sat at the bar for a while on his phone. Aside of taking our order, he did not check on us. We had to ask another lady who worked there for extra chips. There was also another younger male server who did stop by our table twice to make sure everything was ok. At the end of our meal, my son ordered a lava cake dessert, which is supposed to be warm. Our server brought out a cold cake, seemingly straight from the cooler, with solid chocolate in the middle. Theme of the establishment is nice, displaying of the culture was a plus. Service was slow on a Monday, not packed at all. Only came for the New frozen Margarita swirl and the 20.99 margarita pitchers. The drinks ordered wasn't anything to brag about.Maybe one shot per pitcher and 1/2 a shot in frozen drink. I would give them 5 stars but they need some help badly. When you walk in there is a sign that states wait to be seated. It was Tuesday a lil after 6, they weren't busy just yet but I stood there 5 m I m before anyone came to seat me. Anyhow once seated, the same slow service. I stayed because I was hungry and didn't feel like going anywhere else. The shrimp tacos are good, chips are ok, but they were warm so either freshly fried or under a heat lamp. The salsa is ok, a little too watery and no chunkiness. Their sweet tea is good. I will come back since it it close to my house but they do need more employees read more

Everyone was really nice. It's kinda small on the inside so if you are going with a large party, you should really plan ahead. Things are priced pretty much the same like most Mexican restaurants. The margaritas were good, but if you are a drinker than the house margarita might not be the best path to take lol. The food was good and everything came out seasoned well. Terrible service! Myself & my guest have been sitting in the booth for almost an hour after being sat down & didn't have my order taken. Every server was in the back hiding. After finally seeing one of them I told them that myself & my guest were ready to order they still took an extra 10 minutes to walk to the table mind you they were NOT busy. Hidden gem in McDonough! Food was really good. I especially like the appetizer and it came out very hot and fresh, and the wings were fantastic. All of the portions are huge and you will definitely leave stuffed. The margarita was very strong! No complaints at all. The food came out very quickly, and I couldn't believe how quiet it was just because of how delicious everything was. I would think that it would be busier than it was. I also love the ambience. I don't like how there is a up charge to use your card vs. cash I think that's pretty dumb. Your servers aren't attentive as they should nor know much about what your advising such as your soft serve margaritas. The food was burnt. My server was okay but it could have been her first day or she isn't a social person. Her coworker... with glasses can be replaced... need better customer service. Mom and I tried a new restaurant while we were in McDonough for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! All of the staff were extremely nice and welcoming. It has a nice bar set up with fun decorations, and music playing to set the atmosphere. Salsa and chips were great along with the guac for the appetizer. House Margarita was affordable and the lime salt made it delicious. Mom got the combination meal with a beef hard taco and a bean burrito. The rice and beans were very good, they both were seasoned very well and not the regular plain rice and beans from some Mexican restaurants. The street tacos were amazing. I cannot say enough about the tortillas that tasted homemade. Everything was fresh. I can't wait to take the hubby back for a date night so we can see the atmosphere at night. read more

The restaurant seemed a little small but you are still able to enjoy yourself. For my drink, I had a strawberry patron margarita. It was so good (check the pictures lol). I specifically asked for my steak to be well seasoned, and I still had to add salt and pepper, so that lets you know it definitely lacked in the flavor department. The drinks weren't good AT ALL! They taste as if whatever they use for flavor is water down, so it literally tastes like watered down juice and alcohol! I sent my first drink back, and ordered another and it wasn't much better. The two young ladies sitting across from me complained about their food as well saying it was horrible and the tower that they ordered tasted like juice. The service was ok, but I could tell the waiter was definitely use to getting a lot of complaints. It's on the smaller side but the ambiance is ok besides the fact that towards the end of my visit I noticed 2 bugs! I do not recommend and definitely will not be back. read more

It makes me sad to write this review. This was our favorite Mexican restaurant as soon as it opened. We were there every week. We truly enjoyed the food and the incredible wait staff. Eventually though, both slowly went downhill. We stopped going because the food became subpar. After two months we returned tonight. Unfortunately, nothing has improved. My husband ordered the chili Colorado. It was nothing but gristle and what meat there was, was extremely tough. Worst part of our visit though were the waitresses flirting with three gentlemen at the bar. Not a big deal but we couldn't get anyone to wait on us. One of the young ladies was on her pink sparkly phone while seating other customers. This would have never happened with the original staff. Nancy and Lupe were the best!
