Diamond in the rough ! I absolutely love Hispanic cuisine and I have had a really hard time finding true authentic Mexican food but this place has become my new favorite! I will definitely be a retuning customer. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor! The horchata was very tasty as well. The customer service was good. There was a little language barrier on both sides but we were able to make it work lol. I didn't get a chance to go inside I ordered over the phone but my husband commented on the smell of the building said it smelt of floor cleaner. I told him that wasn't a bad thing just means they keep the floors clean (which I believe means the kitchen is clean as well). Definitely recommend trying them out ! read more

I didn't think I could find tacos that tasted very authentic. The tacos definitely didn't disappoint. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted. The hostess/waitress was super nice. She made a great suggestion and made sure our order was correct. The place did look a little older, but not to the point where you wanted to rush out and leave. They deserve zero. This is the 2nd pickup order that they have got wrong. At this point it's intentional. I've been here 5 times, spending $35+ dollars each time. Today I ordered 4 tacos, 1 STEAK quesadilla and 2 Jarritos. I called to let them know that my order was incorrect, "you gave me chicken and not steak"... and also stated that "3 weeks ago I ordered 2 Steak quesadillas yet I received 1 beef & 1 steak instead." I asked are they doing this on purpose with their steak. The woman literally HUNG UP. Poor customer service. Consistently inaccurate orders. Meanwhile their prices have gone up even more since opening. If you get takeout CHECK YOUR MEAT, not just looking at the item but OPEN IT and check. They're intentionally doing this to people and not rectifying their error AT ALL. With this type of inaccuracies they won't last long. It's unfortunate as I purposely wanted to support a smaller business but I refuse to be robbed! Update: I called back and let the Manager Norma know I left them a review and hoped they would do better. My husband and I went on my lunch break to order some food to go. We stood in a long line at the counter. When they finally got to us, there was zero acknowledgement and they just started calling people behind us to come up and place their orders. They literally had to ask us to move over to the side so they could tell them to come forward and they took their order completely skipping us. The second time they did it they also skipped the next person behind us and called someone from the back of the line. Again, zero acknowledgement or explanation and this was after we had been waiting for about 10-15 mins in the line. I've never experienced anything like this in my life and I have never left a negative or one star review. Until today. Tacos are realllyy good ! The service is always good small language Barrier, but good . Just be mindful there is a 15% tip added to the check . I was curious on why our tacos on two visits were over 50$. It was due to a 15% automatically being added. We're aware of it now as we tipped well over 40% each time. This place is AMAZING!!!! I've been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant locally, and here it is. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. They are doing in store dining and delivery, both great. I got to meet Norma and she was so friendly. I cant wait for them to begin to serve menudo.l on Sundays. We have had a few of the dishes and they all have been great. I highly recommend the la patrona dip and the tamales. The chiles rellenos are amazing. If you want some authentic Mexican food, I can not recommend this place enough. This will be a regular place to eat from now on. read more

This was not the place for me the chips were stale and my food was ranging from cold to semi hot which I didn't understand because no one was in the restaurant. If I could leave 0 stars I would.. We ordered food TO GO... tacos that had no meat. Gave us no sauce in a container and charged extra for asking for more. Called to complain and the lady on the phone said "I know who you are" and then proceeded to say "you could have just came in to tell me in person" 1. We ordered pick up for a reason and 2. I have tried to give this place a few chances. It is clean but the price and the food is off. I am not going to slam them but I am just sad that 4 tacos and a beer with small tip was 30.00!! Time and time again, Tacos la Patrona never fails to impress. The staff are friendly and very attentive. This is just the beginning attribute. The food is the real star. After having tried the burritos, tacos, poblanos and every protein they offer, I have yet to find anything that doesn't taste authentic. This is the first restaurant I have ever seen to make their tamales in such a way that it remains in your memory long after the meal has ended. If you like tamales, this is the only place in Georgia to have them. One tamale is a meal in itself. Loaded with protein and covered in a delicious red sauce and cheese, it will make you crave them more and more. Their Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Pollo and Carne Asada can't be beat this side of the Mason/Dixon. I have waited 20 years for an authentic Taqueria to come to Henry County and it is finally here. I came to this spot by a recommendation from my coworker and I am glad I went. Food was delicious, authentic, and hot. I went the next day to have it again, and it was the same quality, maybe even better. I had a a torta (La Patrona) and 2 tacos of barbacoa. My brother in law came with me on the 2nd time and even he was impressed and he is picky about the quality of his food. The staff was nice and attentive.
