Touchdown Wings is a franchise wing spot and I've tried many different locations and this location is hot garbage! First of all, the chicken strips they serve are like half the size of the ones from other locations. Then, the chicken tasted like they fried it in the same grease as the fish. They give you attitude about getting more then 1 sauce. And charge you for it. All other locations give you 2 sauces. The fries were soggy and undercooked but at least they weren't cooked in fish grease. Then they don't have Peach drank Luckily this isn't my home location because they're so bad and I would never willingly eat it again. read more

This place used to be Homebox before they turned it into Touchdown Wings. When it was Homebox, they had the same menu, but the food tasted better and the workers were more polite. They knew me by name there. They've since switched owners about 8 times and the workers get more and more rude. They don't have any special drinks like the other locations, they don't serve house rice like the other locations, they get mad if you want more sauce. The prices have jumped since I first started going. It used to be $10 for a 10 piece wings and fries/rice. Now it's about $15 for that same meal. The place has been dirty since it opened, and the workers sit out in the lobby watching tv and get mad when you walk in. I was raised in the Dale so this used to be my favorite spot. Now they're garbage. I give them a 3 because they're wings still don't disappoint. Then hot lemon pepper wings hit just right! Ain't no telling how filthy the kitchen is though. read more

Came to visit some family on vacation and stumbled across this spot. Food was pretty good. I ordered the L3 Lunch Special which is the 2pc Whiting Fish w/ French Fries and a Fountain Drink. The fish was seasoned to perfection and I didn't even have to ask them to fry the fish hard because it came with a nice outer crisp and the inside was hot and flaky. They use steak fries in oppose to those crinkle cut fries you see used at a lot of other carry out spots and I prefer steak fries more than anything because I feel like you're getting more out of your French Fry. Anyway, those were fresh out of the grease hot and they were seasoned great as well. The lady with the glasses who works the front desk is sweet as she can ever be. Very nice and accommodating. Homebox is a decent fast food joint located in Riverdale. Although they serve a variety of food ( fish, Philly steaks, fried rice, etc) they are most popular for their wings. The wings are quite tasty and they offer a variety of sauces. Hot buffalo wing sauce topped with lemon pepper seasoning is my favorite. The restaurant is clean and you can dine in or take out. After ordering from their friendly staff, i already knew my food was going to be good. The service is really friendly and fast. The shrimp tastes super fresh and breaded so nicely. PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS ! I attempted to eat here for lunch which is 30 minutes away. Me being a a new Yelp Elite, I've been trying new and different places. This was a mistake. I called in my order so that the food would be ready when I got there since it its 10 mins away. I ordered the Gyro lunch special, it looks like they just had some type of marketing done by Issac L. on their page 10/27/17. Everything looks delicious online. Good job with that. Being from up North I know how a Gyro should be made. I asked for extra sauce anticipating the taste. When I arrived the cashier stated that the cooks misunderstood and put the sauce on the side. He asked was this okay. I responded , "Do I have a choice ?!" He stated not really. Reviewing my order I notice there is only 4 skinny thin pieces of meat. One piece for each side of the bread. It was loaded with veggies to camouflage the lack of meat. Being unsatisfied I asked for wings instead. The cashier went to get his manager who really didn't care. They had my money so I guess it was okay to rip me off after I paid my hard earned money on this food and drove out of my way to give them a try. The manager stated I called in so I could not change it. I told her there was only 4 pieces of meat and this was unacceptable. She said there is 6 pieces of meat on there. I asked where? She just kept saying right there. I took the food upset and left. Once in the car I decided she need to at least fix the mistake and give me the extra two pieces that she swore comes with the order. I approached the cashier about the additional meat. When the cashier took the food back the cook stated only 4 pieces comes with the order. The manager got sooo upset and said, "If she wants her money back just give her the money back!" All I asked for in the beginning was for chicken instead of the sandwich. Stop trying to rip people off and have some type of customer service. I got my money back and left without food, and wasted my entire lunch break. I would recommend making sure you have quality servings and please your paying customers.If it wasn't for us you wouldn't be able to have a business, employees, or means to pay your bills. Upon first entrance I was greeted with a warm smile and huge hello. I was the only person at the counter so ordering was simple. I opted for the chicken cheesesteak and fries lunch special with a drink. The soda station needed a little cleaning but it was lunch time so i would take away a star for that. It took all of about 5 minutes and my food was ready. I ate inside because it was clean and quiet. That chicken cheesesteak was GREAT! I mean G R E A T, great!! It wasn't your typical up north cheesesteak with the sweet peppers but it surely wasn't that bland America deli chicken cheesesteak either. It was seasoned perfectly! I went in and bought a sandwich, and she came out of the kitchen and yelled at me and said only paying customers could eat in her restaurant.
