I went through the drive-thru and ordered the 2 piece snapper dinner. I didn't want fries or coleslaw, I wanted the zucchini fries and mushrooms as a substitute and was told I would be charged to swap it out. I got my food and only had 5 zucchini fries and a few mushrooms and they were all overcooked and basically burnt. The snapper was crunchy and overcooked. So we are completely bias since we are from the south side of Chicago and fried chicken and mild sauce is a staple in our community and part of our DNA. This location is connected to a gas station, but that means nothing since some of the hole in the walls we have frequented in Chicago are less than. The food is good and it never takes long to get our order. It seems fresh and the wings are a very nice size. We always order extra mild sauce and they always comply. The staff is friendly and their location is pretty clean. If I had one complaint, it would be that they find better alternatives to packing their to go trays. We order 10 wings and fries and the styrofoam container isn't large enough to hold it down it always falls apart and makes my mild sauce drip out and into the plastic bag. I had a decent experience here. Ordering system was new for me, but not complicated. You pull up the the big board, pick out what you want, then drive around to the window to place your order and they will give you a buzzer when your food is ready. In all it took maybe 10-15 mins to get our food. I had the "perch" I believe and 10pc shrimp with fries. It's a special they have, 1 pc shrimp and 10 shrimp for around $9.99. The white dust was something new for me but they locals said you should ask for "extra" white dust because it's "good" lol! It didn't necessarily enhance my food, but it didn't taste bad either. Parking is never a problem, this location can get crowded but the wait for the food is never that long. This is one of my favorite spots for chicken, I rarely get to eat here because I don't live in the area but anytime I'm close to one I definitely make it my duty to eat here.
