My wife and I have been a customer for twenty years and thought this was the best place for wings and tenders. The owner and staff were the best, they treated you like family and greeted you by name when you walked in. Unfortunately, the business was sold, we gave the new owner the opportunity to prove themselves and they failed, the quality of Chicken has gone down the sauce is not the same and the fries are under cooked, the floor is sticky and you are treated as a number not a customer. Since the business was sold it has went downhill fast. Quality of the food,cleanliness, and service have all declined rapidly. Used to be the best place for wings. Now best place to avoid. been a customer long enough that when me or my husband speaks on the phone, the employees already know our order; however the last few times we have been we have noticed a significant downgrade in the food quality. The wings are spongy- even when ordered extra crispy (which adds an additional 15-20 minutes to your wait, which is fine when they are actually crispy... but not when I have to wait the additional time & the order is not right). tonight's order included my wings being tossed in hot & garlic parm- what I received was garlic butter tossed wings- no spice/hotness & I had to try & bake my wings AFTER arriving home because they were not even close to having a crisp on them. I would have to agree with the 3 star rating. We ordered about 20 wings and or people said that the wings were hard and over cooked. They also looked small. I had the buffalo chicken sangwich. They take 3 or 4 boneless chicken wings and place them on a bun with sauce. It was, not too bad and the price was alright for what I got. They make it a combo, fries and a huge drink, for about$10 bucks. Not bad. Nice staff. 99A rating. Clean place. Price's are ok. This place is not bad for a quick bite. read more

Chick-N-Run is now the standard we compare all chicken strips to. The best chicken strips everrrr! (With kids we have sampled chicken strips everywhere.) The breading is light and perfect. The serving sizes in the family specials are very generous. Our family of 4 (2 teenagers) had lots leftover with the 30 piece strip special. Okay so still an amazing spot, the epitome of southern hospitality BUT...... they have recently gon up in price for the 2nd time since I've moved in and I understand that there is a crunch time for businesses right now but so it is for patrons as well. We enjoyed the food-the 30 pc lemon pepper wings were crispy and well-seasoned and the fries were plentiful and still hot. The price was about the same as other wing places. The only thing I was unhappy with at all was that you are only given 3 total dressing/dip cups for 30 wings. I had to purchase extra to have enough. Overall good experience, though. I've eaten here over a billion times and had everything on the menu twice. I can recommend the wings in any flavor here. Occasionally you find a dry one (1 out of every 578 wings by my count) but for the most part they are good to go, fried and flavored. My personal favorite is their catfish. I get the plate with fries. It's a light batter that's right in the middle between homemade and franchise fish joint. I like it. The chicken livers are good if you are into them. Not too greasy. Oh, the fries. Very good fries and always fresh and hot enough to melt the foam container. The chicken salad has seeds and pieces of grapes in it, so if you're not into a lot of flavors and textures then maybe it's not for you, but if you want a change-up then I suggest getting a half pound or so of it and a loaf of bread next door for sandwich night. I think that it's a really tasty chicken salad and it's 274 times better than that crap in the plastic container from Kroger. The only reason why I did not give them five stars is because one time they left something out of my families order, twice I've been by there to get food and they've been closed even though it was during their operational hours, and a few times I've called up there to order food for my family and they wouldn't answer the phone even though they were open, so I had to just show up, order, and sit there with my thumb up my butt while I waited.
