First time here and all I can say is bomb as ever! Got the fried fish platter. Came with coleslaw, the greatest hush puppies of my life and Cajun French fries! So stinkin good! Highly recommend the appetizer crab balls get two orders if you're sharing because you'll want your own! Service was so kind and polite really fast too!! And very clean and upbeat inside! Had a great massage and wanted something to eat, so I tried this place for my first and last time. The guy's attitude and treatment for a first timer (Not that it should've made a difference), Food was ok, fresh, but no seasoning.....But it was his mannerisms that rubbed me the wrong way, as if he was rushing me out of there and I was the only one there at that time. Just got home from the crazy crab, had a really good time. Enjoyed the food so much. We started out with a fried oyster appetizer and it was great. Not too greasy, cooked properly, and very tasty. My wife had the crazy combo with shrimp and crab legs. We had it with Cajun and garlic butter spice it was really good. Cooked properly. It's hard to find fried bone-in catfish anymore. Crazy crab does it and they do it well. Reminds me of after church dinners several years ago when I was younger. One thing about me I love a good seafood boil. As of recently, there have been several seafood boil based restaurants around the Metro Atlanta area trying to duplicate the Juicy Crab chain. For starters, I do like that this restaurant was very clean and there was plenty of room for large parties. I got their crab seafood boil and I will be honest to say I wasn't a fan. The place chooses to add lime to their seafood sauce. I do love lime and it pairs with drinks and other things I felt like it shouldn't have been in spicy sauce. My friend who I dined with really liked their wine selection. The prices for the alcoholic drinks weren't bad and it's centrally located to a lot of great spots. I may come back to try their fried face basket but uncertain about re-trying the seafood boil. read more

Server: Nina Party Size: 4 people + 1 infant This was our first time coming to Crazy Crab -Stockbridge and it was absolutely delicious. The aesthetic of the restaurant was presenting a mixture of seafood and steampunk. It wasn't overpowering with the theme, but it was really nice. For the food, the serving size of the fried baskets were just enough to get full. I ordered the Chicken Finger Basket, which includes fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. I tried the dipping sauce called BoomBoom and it was in comparison to YumYum sauce, but looked like Ed's Sauce from Good Burger (90s reference for all my 90s babies). My husband ordered the Flounder Basket (which comes with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw). He stated, "I will definitely order this again. I would come here and order a fish sandwich before going to Fish Supreme Delight." He enjoyed the taste of the fish and everything about the meal. For the bathroom specifically the women, it was very clean, which is a plus in my book. Some of the flaws that I saw as a first-time mother included no changing station for infants/toddlers and no infant car seat sling holder. There were several purse hooks in the accessibility bathroom. If you're interested in placing to-go orders, you're able to do that with the items that are listed on their menu. The TVs are large and very well lit to see the various menu items. The food comes out quick and accurate. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you're in the Henry County area as a new local spot. read more

This place is a Great Place for some Great seafood. Ate here with the family. Place is clean and nice ambiance environment. Ate the Shrimp, and Crawfish. Both came in a bag with potatoes. To some that may be in-appealing, however the shrimp and crawfish were full of rich, bold flavor. The dessert was dry. It was the slices of cake they have at front counter. Hence the 4-star. What a great find. We live north of Atlanta and rarely drive south of the airport except during u-pick strawberry, blackberry, blueberry and peach season. :) After working up a hunger this morning we found this little gem of a place on the drive back home just off I-75. Great attentive service. Both our waitress and the manager checked on us multiple times. Kept our drinks refilled and always made sure we had everything we needed. Had the whole catfish platter with Cajun fries and coleslaw along with the catfish po-boy with sweet potato fries and okra. All was very good. Not heavy on the batter on anything . . . and we had so much fried food! The hushpuppies were delicious and, again, not thick on the batter. I see they have two other locations, as well. While none are near us, if we are ever in any of those areas we will definitely dine at the Crazy Crab again! read more

AWESOME! We stopped from driving south on I75. So happy we found this on Yelp and tried it. Can't say enough about the fresh seafood and how they steam it with corn and potatoes in a bag with your chosen seasoning. Ordered snow crab and shrimp in garlic butter. Ate every bite. The Crab boil had no seasoning. It tasted like water. I ordered the garlic butter. Guess I should've ordered a different flavor.

I've visited this restaurant several times and it was ok. This time I decided to try something different and had the shrimp basket. The shrimp was very fresh and tasted good. On previous visits I tried the catfish basket which was very good and I also tried the oysters..... Which was probably pushing it. I will start with the positives. The restaurant was very clean and decorated well. The music choice was family friendly and we were greeted with smiles. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I ordered the gumbo and crab bites for lunch and neither were what I expected. The gumbo was chicken stock based, not rue. There were some pieces of unidentifiable meat. I'm not sure if it was chicken or "crab". Overall, it tasted like seasonings from a seafood boil bag was added to chicken stock. Who told them to add this to the menu? The crab bites were made with rice and imitation crab - again not what I expected. If you try to go here, I would not suggest the kitchen-made items. It's hard to mess up boiled seafood so maybe stick to that. read more

The fish was average. The food came out relatively fast. The waitstaff were friendly.

I give it 5 stars because it's new, as a result the food was plentiful, the prices were right, waitresses were accommodating, and the food was fresh and tasty!! The establishment is a bit small, there is an option to order your food to go. For $30 I was able to get 1/2 pound of snow crabs, 1/2 pound of shrimp with the heads off, and sausage with corn and potatoes (combo A). I love the fact that the shrimp was already cleaned. I ordered the house special mild. It had a slight kick, so the sauce was perfect and well seasoned. I wanted a piece of fish and a few oysters so the waitress checked to see if I could add-on, which I could. So for an extra $7 I was able to get a fried piece of red snapper and 3 fried oysters. They were also delicious, well seasoned and fried just right! The cole slaw on the side was good and so was the boom boom sauce and tartar sauce. Now for the gumbo, you can get it with or without mussels. it was good but way too much rice. At the end of my meal I shared this with the waitress who said she was new and still learning. She admitted to putting too much rice in the gumbo. Major props for being honest! Other than that, everything was perfect, and I plan to go back to try the many items on their menu. This was an amazing experience! The restaurant was very clean and the food was excellent! This was my first visit but certainly not my last. I'm not on the south side of Atlanta often. We were on the south side and wanted to get seafood. Read reviews and decided to try CC. The restaurant is very clean with plenty of seating. We ordered a king crab legs and lobster tail boil and a fried oyster basket. They serve the seafood in a bag with all the juices. We chose to our it our on a platter. The serving was a nice size and my husband cleaned his platter! The oysters were ok - smallish and fried more than I prefer. Hush puppies were very sweet and yummy. I visited Crazy Crab with my brother who is visiting from out of town. The take out food was hot and delicious. We enjoyed our meal and my brother wanted to place an order through Door Dash the next day. We will visit again and dine in before he leave town. I have been to this place 3 times (TRYING TO GIVE IT A CHANCE) and each time it has been something. The manager is HORRIBLE and does not try to satisfy the customer. I asked for a cup for water while I waited on my second order. He tried to charge me $1.00 and said "Do you know how much WE pay for cups"? I would not have asked for water if my first order was good and didn't have to wait! I wanted to substitute fries for something of equal value and he flat out lied to me and said "We cant substitute, I asked the owner and he said NO"! The menu clearly states "No Substitutions" for Po' Boys!! I didn't order a Po' Boy. I have never been to an establishment where you cant substitute something of the same value. I just noticed that this new place opened, and I wanted to try it because I love seafood. The fried crab bites were amazing! The seafood boil was fresh and gave more than enough food in the bag. Definitely worth the price. The only thing I did not like was the sauce :( It was not the taste I was looking for. The sauce was too sweet and not enough spice or tang.
