Broadway Diner in Fayetteville serves up awesome diner food, and we are definitely going back. The food came quickly and the food runner was nice. I ordered the chicken sausage, spinach, and cheese omelet, and it was really good. My guy got the Italian omelette, and we also decided to try the berry omelet. All of the food was delicious and super filling. The server was so pleasant so shout out to that gentleman with the ponytail. Broadway Diner in Fayetteville stays PACKED, so clearly somebody loves it more than I do. For me, it's one of those places where I've tried enough things to know what I like and what I'm probably not ordering again. The two things I'm truly a fan of are the Bigelow tea selection and the dessert case. I love that they bring out the Bigelow Tea Box so you can actually choose what you want instead of getting whatever random tea bag happens to be in the kitchen. And the desserts come from Alpine Bakery, so that part is always going to get my attention. I finally found a breakfast order I'll actually come back for: Chicken Sausage with Egg and Cheese on a Croissant. I've learned that I need to be VERY specific though. They like to scramble the cheese into the eggs, and I don't want that. I order fried eggs with cheese and ask them to brown the chicken sausage because they're not always consistent with how it comes out. The waffle is decent too. Now the home fries? Stay away from those. They're basically just dry diced potatoes. No real flavor, no moisture, no reason for me to ever order them again. So dry you might choke. Everything else I've had has been okay, not great. The Chicken Alfredo needs help. I have to add Parmesan, salt, and pepper, and I wasn't a fan of the texture of the chicken. The Fried Catfish lacked flavor for me. And the pancakes? HUGE. Think dinner-plate huge. Unfortunately, they're also too dense for my taste, so being the size of my head doesn't really help. I will absolutely give Broadway Diner credit for cleanliness. They're constantly vacuuming, wiping down tables, turning them over, and keeping things moving. Considering how busy this place stays, they know how to handle a crowd. Service is okay, but I wouldn't call it stellar. For me, it's 3 stars. I know the parking lot and dining room would probably argue with me because this place stays busy, but I can only rate it based on what keeps me coming back. Stumbled upon a local gem around Valentine's Day and very happy we can add this to our list. This gives you a true traditional diner feel, from the booths and artwork, down to the fact that you take your check to the counter when it's time to pay. The diner is a very classic feel. Their menu is full of options, it was hard to choose but I landed on a patty melt cooked medium. It felt and tasted like a throwback. So delicious! My boyfriend got chicken and waffles, he said it was nothing special but good. Keep in mind we were able to sit pretty quickly because we chose to sit outside on a cooler day, for inside seating there was quite a wait time. Visited w a large group for a graduation celebration. My fish was slightly undercooked, another lady had ribs that were uneatable and nothing like ribs, oysters too softly fried etc. None of the adults want to eat there again. However, the service was great and prices reasonable. read more

Tucked away in the crevices of Fayetteville, GA you will find the friendliest group of people at Broadway Diner. Unfortunately we went on Saturday morning and we had to wait probably 30 minutes before we got a table but I was prepared for the wait. Take a long time to get seated and to get your food but once you get it, it's very good food and their cakes are the bomb.

My family eats here all of the time for breakfast after church. We love the food! You get so much food and it's Delicious! I always get the build your own omlet and you get so many sides with this: grits, pancakes,and biscuits. I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy eating. We stopped by this charming diner while traveling through town. It's was cute with its 50s decor and has clean bathrooms. The menu is quite extensive, but there are many great choices! Our server didn't seem very enthusiastic when we ordered shakes and hot chocolates. He shook his head and threw his hands on face when he walked away with just our drink orders. I was visiting my old hometown and was trying to find a spot for lunch. This popped up and figured I would try it. Went around noon on a Saturday. Parking lot full and a short wait for a table told me it might be worth it. I was not disappointed. The service was quick and attentive. Warm bread came to the table and it was followed by a perfectly cooked medium rare burger. The place was clean and full of smiling locals. On the way out I grabbed a slice of homemade lemon cake for my wife. Now this had to make a trip back to Tampa the next day. My wife loves lemon cake and normally only eats about half of a normal slice. This was a large slice with plenty of homemade buttercream frosting. She initially said I could have the other half, however after tasting it, she threatened me if I attempted to touch it. Fayetteville should be proud of this hidden gem. Our first time arriving for a good breakfast and Broadway Diner did not disappoint. Our server Chris (hope that was his name) did a wonderful job because smiling is a great quality in knowing you're going to have a great experience. As always we crave corn beef hash and I got the plain combo but my friend and Bf had the Hobo Hash which looked even better than mine. But I don't always have scrambled eggs so my combo has over medium eggs. My friend's husband enjoyed his burger with avocado and he liked it too. Much further spot from the airport but worth the trip. Plus, if you know the spot had lines already out the door then it must be awesome. Now, the home potatoes weren't specially great but plane enough to add salt or pepper. Lots of parking and I think booth and tables were available. Broadway Dinner is/ was one of my favorite place to eat, especially the whole fried catfish and fried pork chop, which I normally sit and eat at the diner. This time I elected to get my n food to go, worst mistake. I don't know what happened but the catfish, mashed potatoes with gravy was awful. The catfish was tasteless and bland, the mashed potatoes gravy had some spice that was awful. The pork chops was on point, well seasoned, fried to perfection, finger licking good, the vegetables medley was good, along with the baked potatoe. I don't know what happened to the fish but the trash can loved it, my dog didn't even want it. Spend $40 and had to trash my meal. I lived to far too return of i was closer I would have. I thought about having my birthday gathering there but after today's experience I don't think so. I am so mad and disappointed, good thing my husband ordered two pork chops. It was definitely busy on the visit. Seems like the place to go on a Sunday for breakfast or lunch. Though busy was still seated quickly. Server was very friendly and quick for a drink order. Coffee was hot and fresh. The menu can be slightly overwhelming. Several options. Including about 20 different types of pancakes. Opt'd for the chicken fried steak with potatoes and wheat toast. Very generous portion and the gravy was nice and hot with the right amount of pepper. Potatoes were seasoned nicely and went well with a little Yukon gold sauce. I actually visited this diner due to its yelp ratings. I love a good dinner and what struck me most about this one was how clean it was. We went for dinner on a weekday, party ofc4, and were quickly created and seated. The menu is of course very diverse and expansive, making ordering the first time challenging. I ordered a reuben with side salad, and my guests ordered chicken and waffles, chicken parm, and a child chicken fingers plate. Everyone enjoyed their food, so definitely a solid meal. We also ordered 2 slices from the dessert case (coconut cake and strawberry cheesecake). Great experience, great staff and we will return often. read more

Food is so good here, so far I have not had anything that I dont like. having patience sometimes a because it does get very busy and you may have to wait a little bit but once you get you won't be disappointed, and the service is great. To start with, Broadway Diner is an exceptional place to eat and everything is always perfect. This is what I encountered that was awkwardly uncomfortable for me as well as my family. A man came and stood by my chair, too close for me but I assumed he was part of the wait staff and was serving the table next to me. After about 3 minutes I looked up and he was starring at me and I ask if he was waiting for me or what. He said, what's your favorite color and long story short he made a paper rose and stood glaringly waiting for a tip. he was at our table for about 10-15 minutes and it truly interrupted a dinner that was very special. I've got to ask, why is this allowed? Food was wonderful but we had to take it because we felt awkward eating while he was trying to provide unwanted entertainment! read more

I had the salmon Ceasar salad, I will say everything on the menu sounds amazing and you'd have to frequent this location every week for YEARS to try everything they have to offer. Our server was so nice! She was super sweet! My mom ordered a hot chocolate and she did it up with sprinkles and the works. The consensus after eating at Broadway Diner from everyone who joined me... "Meh. It was ok." Two out of five stars is an absolutely accurate rating for this spot that blew none of us away. What was ordered: - Salmon Florentine: our server (who was very nice and very honest) exclaimed that this entree was his favorite on the menu (he also said NOT TO GET THE MEATLOAF)... So it was ordered and devoured. When asked how it was... "Oh, it's fine. Want a bite?" -- I always feel like when a bite is offered... That means it's not all that great. - Lamb Gyro: "it's okay." ... When my husband reviews his food as such, you know it's not good. - Chocolate Cake: "EAT IT!" is what my husband told the other people who dined with us... IE: I don't want to waste any bites on this lack luster cake... - Chicken Wings: I got the wings and they were prepared the way I wanted... Naked. They were fine. But it almost tasted like rotisserie chicken. I don't mind rotisserie chicken but when I order wings, that's not what I'm looking for. - Salmon: I ordered a side of salmon (no salad) and it was fine... But also BORDERLINE rancid. I could tell that if not cooked within a day, it was going to go bad. It was certainly edible, and just fine but if I ordered that exact piece a day later... My review 100% would be different. - Fehttuchini: No complaints about this one but a 14 year old was eating it so I'm pretty sure he didn't really know what was "good" vs. not. - Omelet: I feel like this diner excels ate breakfast food, because the omelet looked good and there were no complaints there either. So as you can see... Nothing spectacular happened here. We have a gift card to finish, so we will be back and will most likely try other things to see how we feel... Talk about a town favorite! My friends and I are here for an annual girls trip. We decided to stay stateside this year instead of an international trip. Our two friends who live-in Fayetteville said this was a must try and they was right! Thank you Charlotte! The atmosphere was family oriented which was inclusive of mixed cultures gathered to eat.
