This was our second visit and both times to the food was definitely on point. Shrimp and grits were delicious. The last time I believe I ordered French toast platter it definitely did not disappoint. I enjoyed my brunch by myself. I was seated quickly as it was mid day during the week.. I ordered 2 starters because I couldn't make up my mind. I got the salmon croquette, and the seafood Deviled eggs, I wouldn't get the croquette again but the Deviled eggs weren't bad. I would just get regular ones without the shrimp. Now onto my meal, my Omelette came out quick and it was very good. I enjoyed that and my potatoes I ate it all. Not much of a looker from the outside but it has character upon walking in. Small but feels really spacious & big because of those great high ceilings. The service was good, everyone was really nice! Met the owner and she was so pleasant and really kind. Now baby, I'll keep it short and sweet and get straight to it.... everything delicious, felt like some good home cooked food. Cooked and seasoned to perfection!! They don't have a large liquor selection but those who purchased a achcoholic beverages said they where good. The ambient vibe, the warm, southern hospitality, and the overall food was spectacular! The grits were delicious and creamy. The catfish was very fresh, not gamey and the eggs were flavorful and very fluffy, not overcooked. Now, the fried green tomatoes were to die for. 1st time visiting was for Sunday brunch. They have a nice size dining area but nothing fancy in terms of decor; however, they offer on-site parking which is a plus! Upon entering we were seated immediately (around 10:30 am) and our server came shortly thereafter. Our server was great! I believe her name was Terry. The restaurant was clean and had a nice vibe. The food tasted good with the exception of 2 items that weren't my personal favorite. The salmon had a bit of a fishy taste rather than a fresh taste. The grits had a broth like base rather than a creamy one (personally I prefer creamy). The waffles were nice and soft. The Experience Pasta was horrible not worth $29. I was beat out of my money. I am so disappointed and will never go back. The fried tomatoes were beyond bland with no garnish or appealing. I arrived during your posted hours expecting to be served. However, after entering and taking a seat, I was told that I couldn't be served because the registers were closed even though the business was open (9:00-3:00). If customers can't be served before closing time, why not communicated that before seating? Or locked the doors??? Allowing customers to enter and take a seat in your establishment is inconvenient. The grits were creamy, shrimp beyond flavorful. The sauce they add on top of the grits was SO GOOD. The hubby got a catfish platter; he was having a hard time choosing between the catfish and fried chicken. With the waitresses recommendation he opted for the catfish. Came on a Sunday around 10 am , didn't need a reservation and was promptly seated. This place is a lot bigger than what it used appears to be on the outside. Great music , clean and cute decor. I didn't get a drink but friend got a mimosa she liked it they have different kinds like one with cotton candy. I got the chicken and waffle and friend got shrimp and grits. I liked it ! I've been going to The Dining Experience for over a year now. Every time I've visited I'm always warmly welcome. Kyesha the owner is so warm and welcoming. The service is wonderful and the food it great. Also is not a noisy location and we always take pictures at the photo area. My wife heard about this place at work. So we decided to go for brunch. But first I would like to give a "job well done" to the bartender "Morgan". She gave us great customer service and went above her duty to make sure we had a good first-time experience. Thank you, Morgan. Well, the place is nice but a little loud, but it's not a buzz killer. The food was okay, but there was nothing to write home about. We both had the grilled salmon, but I had my eggs over easy ( they got right), but my wife asked for soft scrabble eggs with cheese, and she got hard cold scrabble eggs with cheese. But, thanks to great customer service by Morgan, she took care of everything and got my wife what she ordered. We had the shrimp devil eggs ( not a fan) , they were sweet and had too much sweet relish for me, and who put sugar on devil eggs? Stop it! The mimosas were great. Today my Church Family and I had the best experience here. We did have a short wait due to the restaurant being crowed and us having a large group. However, once we were seated the service and food was amazing. The host was so nice and accommodating to our choir. Our server was very friendly, attentive and kind. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and everyone was well pleased with their order. I purchased the Shrimp and grits. And it was well seasoned and delicious. This is the 3rd time I've ordered (through GrubHub) and they were out of items. I don't understand how you're out of macaroni and cheese every single time someone orders. Every ingredient for mac and cheese is literally in a local grocery store. No excuse. They clearly can't keep up with demand. Chicken wings are just ok. No call or anything to say, hey you ordered something that we're out of. Would you like something else? Nope, they just send your order out with whatever they have. Poor service! And by the way, if you're out of things, be honest with customers upfront and put a note on your menu so people aren't ordering things that you know you don't have. read more
