I sat at the bar and still had a positive experience. I ordered a pineapple mimosa and Wafflewich was turkey bacon. The food was good, but (personal preference) I wish my waffle was crisper. I'm not grading the food because a group of 10 arrived about 9:30 on a Wednesday. When we arrive, there are only two tables maybe three, so the restaurant was not very full. We were greeted by a waitress and we were seated and after that that was the last time we saw her for the period of time we were there. The group of us waited 15 to 20 minutes only to notice that there were additional tables who had just come in with smaller groups that she was helping, mind you I know it's not her fault because she was a one person operation, and there was only a single Cook in the back as we could see. As a group we did not even get a water, or I'll be right back or, any help or assistance. So we waited about 15 minutes maybe 20 but she never got back to us to say I'll help you, a little busy right now nothing. So as a group we decided to walk out. I understand it's a Wednesday slow in the mornings, but they have one person waiting on tables, and one person cooking, needless to say it was not acceptable. But we did understand her dilemma as she was a one person show. Has a group we decided to leave and go to two eggs a short drive from this location. Arrived at 9:30 - 9:45 and by 10:30 our entire group had their meal. So I'll chalk this visit there up to one waitress being overwhelmed, not her fault. The online waitlist was a lifesaver on a busy Sunday morning. Solid breakfast. We had fried green tomatoes and beignets which were both good. Coffee tasted like creamer water with a hint of coffee. The barely toasted bread had been slathered with so much butter I had enough to scrape off and put in the grits for extra flavor because there was none, no salt no pepper. The sausage patties came out cold and grayish. The gravy was good but the over easies were hard . Not a good experience . Very disappointed! read more

Got to try last week and it was a very pleasant experience. The interior is lovely, kind of reminded me of small town cafes like when I was a kid. The young man that was my server was fantastic, was always checking on me throughout my meal. The food was excellent and there was a lot to it. If a customer takes one bite of food and says they don't like it, you don't grab the plate, throw the food away, and still charge them. That's dishonest and feels like a straight-up scam. No attempt to fix the issue, no replacement, no conversation, just attitude. Instead of listening, the owner became defensive and rude.
