Housed in a historic building that's been perfectly renovated, the space features a refined, high-end design you'd normally expect to find in Buckhead or Midtown Atlanta -- a very pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating throughout the visit. I ordered the lamb chops, and they were tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Highly disappointed in the experience I had during my first visit to Pandora. I had high hopes when making the reservation for my birthday dinner, but ultimately, I wish we had gone elsewhere. For starters, the communication is lacking. The morning of, I called and spoke to a Hostess to make the reservation, and not once was I informed that they would only be offering a buffet that day instead of the standard menu. Even when we arrived, no one who greeted us at the front mentioned the buffet only service. It wasn't until we were sat and ready to order drinks that our waitress let us know. We decided to proceed with the buffet - priced at $80/pp - and the VAST majority of the food was completely underwhelming and unsatisfactory. Some items were inedibly salty, others were bland or simply not prepared well, most were unlabeled, and almost everything was either ice cold or barely lukewarm. Furthermore, we spent more time waiting in line for food than we actually did eating. Most of the items ran out very quickly and were slow to be replenished. After speaking to the Owner as well as the Manager regarding our disappointment, a discount was provided on 1/3 of our table's check, which we appreciated, however I can't say that we felt the issues we mentioned were properly acknowledged, nor are we very eager to return. For a table of 5, our total bill was between $500-$600. When you factor in the price for the mediocre cocktails, plus the automatic 20% holiday gratuity, the meal as a whole was nowhere near worth what it cost. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and engaging. Can't remember her name, but A+ to her for her customer service. The restaurant is beautiful. Ambiance of Pandora is quite literally perfection. The decor and entire set up almost felt like something out of a small town, mid to upscale restaurant in a movie or tv series. The white brick, wall paper, wooden beams and wine display wall are all so picture perfect. I had the halibut which came on a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The halibut itself was tasty. Not too seasoned, just right. A smaller than average sized portion, I would say between 4-6 ounces. Cut like a filet. The mashed potatoes were less than exceptional. Pretty bland to be honest. Asparagus were wilted and tasted like a smoked char, I wouldn't be mad if they had been replaced with another green. Being 4 months old (at the time of my visit), it's obvious that the kinks are still being identified but it's even more apparent that the issues are not being addressed. Even attempting to confirm the reservation a few days before hand sort of foreshadowed the run of the show. There was a game of phone tag to confirm, so I was told to confirm via the online reservation and even though I did the phone tag continued but I paid it no mind. On the day of the reservation, the reservation was for 6pm and at 620 we were still not seated and told that prior parties were still in progress. Once seated, the arrangement was ill fitted as one guest in my party didn't have table space yet the staff urged that it would be fine for dining. It was not, so we requested reconfiguration of the space which was met with more "can't" than "cans". We were seated reasonably at abt 630 and ordered by 645 we didn't receive our entrees until 8pm but we did notice other smaller parties who had been seated after us received their orders. There was no explanation of why nor compensation offered for the inconveniences of the evening. I think that was the most disappointing part, we just had to grit and bear it. Price transparency could be better. Market price is usually unlisted which I'm accustomed to, but we made adjusts to the alcohol in some of their signature drinks and were in dismay at the premium charged for those drinks. Almost $30 for a champagne flute of French 75 with tequila, I was floored. Needless to say, for a party of 6, our bill was over $550 and it could only be split between 2 payments. That was truly a hassle to sort out as the restaurant auto charges 18% gratuity on parties they deem as large (only an assumption as it was not listed on the menu or reservation). I wish this business well, but I can't say I would be open to going back anytime soon. The service level and hospitality needs an overhaul. I was extremely disappointed and would give 0 stars, but it gets one star since I did not try the food. I booked reservations for my dad for Father's Day. I went online and looked at the menu and their website. The website nor menu did not mention a buffet. It was disappointing that this was the only food choice. Another couple came in for their 40th something wedding anniversary expressed the same disappointment, so I wasn't alone. While the ambiance and live music was nice, I wouldn't expect the buffet food to be laid out the way it was....You couldn't even get to the bar area because all the buffet food was sitting around the bar. The bar looks fairly small, so it looked awkward. I' m not sure how the bartender even had enough room to make drinks. So in order not to waste a trip, we decided to just order a drink. I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. I dined for lunch and everything and everyone was great from the start. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and quickly seated. It was not busy and so we were served promptly. Our server Preston was pleasant and very accommodating ,checking on us periodically. The food and drinks were both excellent and the inside is clean and beautifully done ,tasteful and elegant. Beautiful place settings and clean menus. Restroom was also very clean. I hate to put bad reviews but ooh boy... We came to Pandora on the Square for Mother's Day with an 8:15 PM reservation and arrived on time, but we weren't seated until around 9:00 PM. After being seated, our food didn't arrive until close to 10:00 PM, and during that time there was little to no communication or updates from staff about the kitchen delays or the status of our order. Ambiance thought it'd be upscale, dimmer, intimate dinner vibes but it wasn't it was so loud with music and convos couldn't hear our table talk. To be fair, not everything was bad. The appetizers were a strong start--especially the cornbread muffins, which were excellent. The smoked Old Fashioned was also the standout drink of the night. Unfortunately, the entrées and overall execution fell far below expectations, especially for a $400+ dinner. The pork chop was dry, the fish lacked flavor, several plates arrived cold (including the vegetables), and the filet mignon we ordered for our mom had an off smell to the point we had to call the waiter and send it back. The Espresso Martini, Hibiscus Vale, and Gullah Island cocktails were also disappointing and tasted weak in both flavor and alcohol presence. To management's credit, they did offer to remake the food and took 15% off the bill. We appreciated the effort, but by that point--after the long delays, lack of communication, and multiple food issues--we were honestly ready to leave. Mother's Day should have felt special. Splendid dining experience! I met a friend here for lunch, and we truly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. Amanda delivered top-tier service--warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The upscale décor immediately sets the tone, and the food was on point. I ordered the Gullah bacon burger paired with truffle fries, which were perfectly seasoned and satisfying. My friend went with the Pandora wings and truffle fries and was equally pleased. Amanda also took the time to share details about an upcoming live music performance, which was a nice touch. McDonough Squares newest restaurant and only fine dining experience. Food outstanding, sophisticated decor and most importantly top notch service. I have been living in McDonough for over 15 years and this was a much needed restaurant. No one wants to drive all the way into the city to experience fine dining, I want to be able to support my local community and local business owners. We started with appetizers, the fried oysters were my favorite. Served piping hot. My only complaint is there wasn't enough of them. For our main dishes we ordered Lamb chops which was served whipped sweet potatoes and asparagus and redfish. Both were delicious and served piping hot. We ordered dessert as well but it isnt pictured as it was to go. This is fine dining and be prepared to spend, but it was worth every dollar. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a full service bar. There is parking in the square. My friend should have been notified of that because the torched peach is a major part of it. Between 2 and 3 Stars We had heard mixed reviews about Pandora on the Square, but decided to give them a try. We had friends visit so we decided to have dinner there on June 27, 2026. We had a 5:30 pm reservation. It was crazy in the square and parking was hard to find for both cars, so my husband dropped me off to check in. I checked in at 5:40 pm and because they knew parking was an issue that day, they allowed me to be seated at our table until the other three guests arrived. We ordered cocktails and appetizers about 6 pm. They arrived in a decent amount of time. We ordered our meals about 6:20 pm. Prior to ordering I asked our server his thoughts on the short rib offering and the catch of the day, which was branzino. He told me the short ribs were very good, but they would take a while and the branzino would be our much sooner. Based on that I ordered the catch of the day/branzino. As we enjoyed each other's company and our drinks and appetizers, it began to get smoky in the restaurant. After a little while I mentioned my eyes were getting irritated. When our server came by I asked about the smoke in the air. He indicated something was going on in the kitchen. He said they opened the front and back doors to help alleviate the smoke. I went outside for a bit to get some fresh air. After returning and siting at the table another 10 minutes or so I went to the restroom and flushed my eyes with cool water to soothe them. At about 7 pm my three dinner companions received their meals. I was told my meal would be right out. The information was from the staff delivering the meals, not our server. About 7 minutes later I asked our server about my meal. He said it should be out shortly. About 4 minutes later I went to the gentleman at the host stand to see if he was the manager. He did not give his name, but said he was one of the managers. I let him know my experience a Pandora on the Square was not turning out to be a good one and shared my issue with the smoke and with me still not having a meal to enjoy with my dinner companions. He said he was sorry for these things and said he'd check on the issue. He never spoke to me again until we were walking out of the door after dinner, when he thanked us for coming to the restaurant. A few minutes later a woman walked up behind me, who I thought was another patron. She did not introduce herself. She walked up behind me and asked if there was a problem. I again said I still did not have a meal. She said she would check on it. Shortly after that a different woman, who did not give a name, came to the table and asked if everything was okay. I repeated I did not have a meal. When the first lady returned she said the meal should be out shortly. I told her I was less than pleased with my dining experience. She apologized and offered me a drink on the house. My meal finally arrived about 7:30 pm. That is over an hour from when the order was placed. If there is anything on anyone's menu that takes a prolonged period of time to prepare; in a good restaurant you are advised of the wait time. I was specifically told the short ribs would take a while, but the catch of the day/branzino would be our much quicker. Was it suggested because they were trying to sell the $85 catch of the day/branzino. The price wasn't listed so we did not know the price prior to getting the bill. I have to say we did not ask the server for the price figuring branzino, selling for about $16 to $20 a pound, rice and asparagus wouldn't be more that $60. The presentation was fine, but there was nothing in the presentation or taste that made me feel like I'd received an $85 meal. Due to the smoke issue and them having to open the doors to air out the restaurant we had to deal with flies as we ate. We ordered appetizers. The oysters were well received by everyone. The fried green tomatoes were okay. The person who had the filet mignon was pleased with his meal. The person who had the shrimp étouffée said it was flavorful, but thought the portion a bit small for a dinner portion. The person who had the flounder thought the fish was flavorful, she enjoyed the asparagus, but she said the rice was a little undercooked. I had the branzino which was a little on the bland side. I was hoping when I saw the lemon and herbs packed into the whole fish that it would be bursting with flavor. I enjoyed the asparagus also, but I too had undercooked rice. When I received my first drink, I believe it was call a peach flame, it should have come with an herb and peach slice garnish. When I received the second drink it had the garnish. The servers helpers did a good job of refilling our water glasses and making sure dirty dishes were removed from the table. Now if someone asked me about Pandora on the Square unfortunately I would have to give a mixed review also. My husband suggested we give them another chance, but next time just do drinks and appetizers. read more

The tall man, greeter at the door, was very friendly and open as I watched him from my table. He was very nice to us when we walked in as well. We did sit for approximately 12 mins before Chef Carlos(I believe that's the name. It was his bday this night) saw us and asked if we had been helped. We said no. He took our appetizers order. The food is delicious. We started with a Caesar salad (loved the fresh croutons) and sea scallops, then had the osso buco and the short ribs. My husband's beans (haricots verts) were way underdone to my taste, but he liked them. My beans, which I had to request, were cooked slightly more. Although the menu said the osso buco comes with the beans, I inexplicably received asparagus. My Gullah punch was yummy. Ordered the banana split- a meal unto itself!The server was attentive, and we enjoyed our interaction with the sommelier. Now to the needed tweaking- entirely too loud. Needs some rugs or tapestries to bring down the noise level. The curved chairs are comfy but too deep for short people like me and have nowhere to hang a purse. A Great Experience! My husband and I were celebrating our 37 years of marriage. Pandora was recommended to us, and we are pleased that she did. We were greeted with smiles and attention. We arrived on Wednesday right at opining 5:00pm. We were seated right away and they lit the light on the table. The ambiance was great very upscale. The dinning was fine. The food was delicious. I had the Braised lamb chops just right tender and tasty and the home made private stock was so good until I purchased a jar before I left. My husband had the Cornish hen. It was apparently so good because he could not come up for air after he took the first bite. Our waitress was wonderful her name is Morgan H. She was so helpful, professional, kind, patient and always acted as if she cared about us as customers. When I asked her where the restroom was, she said follow me and escorted me to the restroom. We went in on 6/10/26 to celebrate friends birthdays. It was the worst experience I've experienced in a very long time. My food was horrible. I ordered the brown bag fried chicken. The appearance of the chicken looked as if it had been refried and no seasoning. Unless you are a person that drowns your food in hot ssuce it had no flavor. The broccolini was to salty. When I spoke with the manager, and told him that i barely ate my food, rather than discount it, he suggested that I come back another time and give them another chance. Why would i do that when I am sitting here now and you could something about it. He refused and insisted I come back and ask for him and I said absolutely not and would invite anyone else to come. A drink is $7 and no refills. It's a rip off, you get better service at McDonalds. I would not recommend the restaurant to any of my family and friends. The lambs chops were *chefs kiss* delicious. Our server was so sweet and professional. The chef actually came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our experience. Disclaimer on the Lobster Pasta: be aware before you order that you have to work for this one! For starters, it looks and showed before we arrived that they were closed til 5pm so I called and let the staff know and was completely slighted. So upon arrival the ambience and the aesthetics were 10/10 I can honestly say a great amount of detail but that's where the good stuff ends... so we placed our order all together I had French toast and added chicken, one of my friends had a veggie plate and grits and the other had grits and chicken and waffles, 30 minutes after placing that sed order the veggie plate comes out and that's fine but the time between it coming out and my French toast coming out was far in between around 30-45 minutes later and my Chicken wasn't brought out so I waited another 20 minutes til it came and it was supposed to be a chicken breast or wings instead.... And I was befuddled when it did arrive it was a burnt leg quarter.... And it was small to say the least and it's $8-11 for that sad piece of chicken .. so the grits finally come out after that nothing to spectacular there either... so almost 2 hours from when we came in the chicken and waffles finally come out at that point we were already leaving and my friend told the waiter to take it back it's ok she didn't want it but they insisted on her taking it free of charge.... When it came out it was cut in half and still looked raw and she also was given a leg quarter.... I really had high hopes for this place but as I checked their social media and other reviews they care more for appearance than quality and that's one way to lose anyone as a customer.. The Ambiance of this establishment is very well put together. Nice quaint atmosphere with exceptional service. My dish was very tasty. Salad with salmon. My only problem was that it should have been served on a plate and not a saucer. Overall not bad. read more

We were stuck between 2-3 stars for this experience, but the friendly atmosphere is what pushed it to 3. When arriving to the restaurant we were greeted with friendly and welcoming hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure my family and I were comfortable, especially with our babies car seat. The server we had was new and did not know the menu very well, but had their little notepad to keep notes in. By our 8pm reservation, many of the items on the menu were sold out and/or had substitutions to the dish, which was a little disappointing. Our drinks were very good, so shoutout to the bartender! The mussels starter was bland, the white wine sauce that they came in was flavorful, but the minute you took the mussel out of it, there was no flavor. It came with two pieces of bread, it could use more pieces to be able to enjoy the sauce. My husband ordered a peach and spinach salad with ribeye meat on top. The server informed us that they were out of spinach and it would be mixed greens, when the plate arrived it had pears and no peaches. The pears were undercooked and still had the core and seeds attached to it, there was too much dressing on the salad that weighed it down and truly sat at the bottom of the plate. It may be better to toss the onion dressing in the salad instead of pouring and using less dressing so that the flavors are evenly distributed with each bite, oh and inform the customers the change in fruits etc. The salad did not come with the ribeye on top, instead the server fired a full ribeye meal ($75 each!) and brought that instead. We felt bad for the server so we did eat two ribeye meals, although that is not what we ordered. The menu should list the oz for the ribeye as they are fairly large, however not the best cut of meat. The collard greens and the sweet potato hash with the sauce that it comes with, clash and do not really taste well together. The couple next to us ordered the peach cobbler for dessert and were very disappointed with the flavor, presentation, and felt the description did not adequately depict what they were getting, they also forgot the vanilla ice cream on the side. That detoured us from ordering any dessert. Overall, the restaurant is nice and I understand the need for a "fine dining" restaurant in the neighborhood, but the prices are extremely high and the quality of the meals does not match. We've gone to fine dining restaurants in Atlanta with better food and paid less. Their menu and execution of the food needs work to match their $40-$75 per plate pricing. We will not be returning or recommending, it's a shame because their staff is SUPER friendly. read more

Absolutely 10 out of 10. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with amazing hospitality. Then seated by a lovely classy young lady. The music wasn't too loud and it wasn't inappropriate. The place was gorgeous , even the restrooms were beautiful. Amanda, our waitress was a joy. She was very pleasant. Every employee was dressed and groomed. The food was amazing. My two thoughts would be the price for Valet is more expensive than Lenox. $20 is over the top. $10 would be preferred. The seafood pasta was a hit. Except for the fact that I spent $55 for a beautiful dish, but I had to crack my own crab legs. That was disappointing. I would have preferred it replaced with more of something else. The lamb chops were amazing as well. Will we be back ABSOLUTELY! I can't wait to show it off with family and friends from out of town. Wish we went during Christmas when it was all dressed up.
