I always enjoy Eggs Up Grill. I happen to go to this location around the holidays last year on a Sunday so it was on the busier end. We did have to wait a little to be seated, but went to pressed as that's pretty normal for breakfast/brunch spots on a Sunday. Waitress was nice, but you could tell she was pretty busy so we tried to get our ordering pretty quickly. I got some French toast with egg whites and bacon we also ordered a mimosa carafe. The food was good and enjoyable. When it was time to pay, I think something had happened in relation to our server and one of the managers so she told us that someone else would be checking us out because she was about to leave and she got into it with the manager. It was definitely interesting and not that I would have shared that as an employee to a customer, but you definitely tell it was a lot going on that day. Vibes were interesting here. Waiters weren't too friendly or attentive, but it's a chain brunch place so to be expected. The carne asada breakfast burrito was so good. I was hungry so that could've impacted my opinion on it but the steak and the eggs were well cooked and seasoned in my opinion. My boyfriend's street corn steak bowl, however, was small and mildly disappointing. There was barely any steak. I did notice that some arriving guest asked to have the area under their table cleaned as it was dirty. They showed up to take care of the issue promptly though. Them potatoes could have been made by zjesus cause they were that darn good. The biscuit was 2 grilled half. I personally love when they are done that way. They sausage gravy was excellent. I felt like they were a little skimpy with it though. I'm sure they probably would have given me more ,if I would have ask though. Now when I went to pay I did find something kinda odd. This is a very solid breakfast/brunch spot. No grass wall or hookah. You get good food with your mimosa with a nice playlist going in the background. I went on a weekend day and it had a nice crowd inside. There are mimosa special and I mean who doesn't love that. Our server was nice and super funny. Received a to go order that a friend picked up for me so I didn't get the full experience, but over the phone they seemed lively. I ordered an avocado toast with eggs which was ok but I've had better especially since the bread was not toasted at all. At least it seemed fresh. Well, they did it again! I went to this delightful restaurant again to celebrate my birthday and I was made to feel so extremely special. First, let me start by saying that after our last visit, I signed up as a rewards member. And I was so surprised to get a free entrée and drink for my birthday! Nobody does that anymore. You may get a dessert, but you were not getting an entire meal, so kudos to the owner, Jeremy whom I might say is quite a delightful young man!. I hope that this business does extremely well. He really has a very sweet spirit about him. I genuinely appreciated my free meal. I, of course, requested to sit in April's section because she is the bomb.com. Of course, and she showed up and showed out again today with her phenomenal service! And I failed to get the young man's name, but one of the additional servers came to me and gave me so many compliments and was just so extremely nice to me. I just was in awe! They truly made my birthday special! And.... So let's talk about the food, that chicken fried steak was the best I literally have ever had any place. And I've gotten this at many other restaurants, but it is perfectly seasoned & perfectly cooked. The only problem for me, which is usually not a problem is that it was too small. Usually it's too big. But seriously speaking, the portion did fill me up. It was more than enough. I just would have love to had more, lol! And the restaurant, itself is just so cute and delightful. Was meeting a friend and looking for a breakfast spot and came upon this little gem. Our host was very nice and friendly, she had a lot to say when she found out where we were from. I was happy by the menu and the fall specials. I opted for my food to go and got the "famous" corned beef hash breakfast. It probably would have been better fresh but that isn't their fault. I did enjoy their fall hot cocoa with graham crackers but in all honesty would not pay the extra price again to add some graham crackers. My friend enjoyed his breakfast from the eggs to the grits. My husband ordered the Homestead Platter ($12.49) and politely asked to substitute the bacon and sausage with country ham. We were absolutely okay with a reasonable upcharge for the substitution. However, instead of a substitution, we were charged $6.99 twice for the ham -- as if we had added two extra sides of ham -- totaling $13.98 just for the ham. When we questioned it, the waitress removed one of the $6.99 charges, but still left the other. So we ended up paying $6.99 for what should have been a simple substitution. To make it worse, we DID NOT even receive the bacon or sausage that were included in the original platter. So essentially, we paid $12.49 for TWO EGGs and A BISCUIT and $6.99 for ham. For context, your menu lists: Extra bacon or sausage: $4.99 Extra country ham: $6.99 So if a customer substitutes bacon and sausage (worth $4.99) with country ham (worth $6.99), the logical upcharge should be $2.00 at most -- not $6.99, and certainly not $6.99 twice. When we spoke to the manager, he agreed with the waitress saying that she charged us correctly and would only remove one of the $6.99. Obviously, both the manager and the waitress do not understand the difference between substitution and an extra order. Please train your employees! read more

Eggs Up Grill was a quick easy for a fast breakfast for a reasonable price and not high typical Atlanta prices. I went around 9am on Wednesday day before Thanksgiving. Wasn't as packed. I sat that the bar located more in the back of the restaurant. I ordered the Crème brûlée French toast. It was good. As you can see in my photo it wasn't as pretty made as in was in the promotion photo that came with the menu. It was good I'll give it 4/5. My only thing parts of the French toast were a bit hard to eat (maybe the caramelization). The tequila sunrise was okay. Will not order again. Wasn't made to my liking on how a tequila sunrise should taste. Bacon was really good. Prices were great. I enjoyed my time. Will i return? We shall see read more

This was my 2nd stop for breakfast as First Watch has a 2 hour wait time. They are a little slow to seat you but i must say my breakfast was delicious. I had the egg white omelette with spinach and Mushroom and a side of pancake. No complaints on the food. I ate every bite of my plate and was impressed. My sister order steak and cheese sandwich and said it was good. My server knew the menu and also provided recommendation. Two things really bugged me though. 1) one of the servers was aggressively using a broom to clean a floor mat behind the dining counter, and sweeping it into the dining area causing dirt and dust to float into the air near me while I'm trying to eat. 2) My check was $16 and change. When the server brought the device to pay by credit card, there were the buttons to press for suggested tip amount, but the minimum amount was $7 and increased from there. The food and the service was amazing! Jabir was well informed on the menu. He was kind enough to begin going over the menu since it was my first time eating there. However, when he spoke about the salmon cakes that weren't regular menu items, he didn't get the chance to go over too many things. Terribly disappointed that I wasted an hour and chose to give this restaurant my business. First time trying out this place and it was a regret to say the least. I placed an order on DoorDash for pickup for 2 grand classic meals, an order of strawberries and cream pancakes and a breakfast quesadilla. When we arrived my husband picked up the bag and went to the car where we made sure everything was there before leaving. The bag was tied shut and had a sticker on the top. Upon opening and checking, I noticed that we were missing the sausage bacon and toast from one of the meals. I called immediately to let the staff know that these items were missing and I was transferred to speak with "Elizabeth" who apparently is the owner of this establishment. After letting her know what was missing she immediately interjected by saying that she is the one that bagged the order and she ensured she put everything in the bag. I once again told her what I was missing and she proceeded to tell me again that everything was in there. I was beyond annoyed now because Elizabeth is was suggesting that I was lying about a couple pieces of bacon, sausage and toast after I just spent 65.00 and received an incomplete order. Rather than confirming with staff and herself she immediately treated me as if I was lying. I invited her to come outside to my vehicle to check the food and confirm that the missing items were in fact not there. In doing so, my food was getting cold while wasting time debating with Elizabeth, rather than rectifying the situation with a simple fix. I am appalled that Elizabeth made a point to go back into the restaurant and make me wait further while she continued to check the cameras, only to see that she in fact made a mistake and didn't place the items in the bag. You should never accuse your customers of lying Elizabeth that is very condescending and not how you run a business. You should always understand the customer first then do your "investigation" followed by resolving the issue however that looks. You insinuated I was lying without confirming anything. Yes, you apologized profusely and admitted you made a mistake and invited us to come back in for a free meal. I will not support a business that acts in this manner towards a customer! I decided on the steak and eggs with help from my server who also suggested I do half home fries and half grits so I can try both. It took longer than expected for my food to come out and unfortunately it wasnt served hot and items were missing. Pancake was barely warm and crumbly. Steak overcooked and tough. The grits were watery and really bland. The potatoes were the best seasoned items and they were a bit salty.
