Queen lili does it again!!! She gave service with a smile. Steak and eggs is my favorite breakfast and they give 5 stars here . The ambiance is a low country diner with the best service !! I highly recommend this place . I will be back! Maybe shrimp and grits next time!!!

Kabir was our waiter and he was AWESOME! We couldn't ask for a better waiter. The food was excellent actually phenomenal. It wasn't overly cooked the eggs were fluffy and light. The atmosphere was vibrant. It gets very busy so we actually came at the right time where the wait wasn't long at all. Everyone was cheery and joyous at the restaurant we didn't want to leave. We were visiting for our friend birthday road trip. Those donuts were magnificent I mean melt in your mouth where you don't have time to let it stay in your hand.

This is a very solid breakfast/brunch spot. No grass wall or hookah. You get good food with your mimosa with a nice playlist going in the background. I went on a weekend day and it had a nice crowd inside. There are mimosa special and I mean who doesn't love that. Our server was nice and super funny. She kept the mimosas full and we love that for us. I went with the steak and eggs with hash browns. It was all very good. It's a nice alternative to the normal brunch sign. You get all the things you need without the extras. That is what you need sometimes.

I don't frequent the south side often and came in with little expectations but I was pleasantly surprised! I had the brunch burger & my friend had the shrimp & grits. I was satisfied with my burger, my friend said her dish was cool. I wish they had plant milk alternatives and more iced coffee options. The price and the quality of the food are spot on, my meal and iced coffee was under $20 and I enjoyed it. Seating is plentiful, we went on a Sunday and didn't have a long wait time although they were busy. Our waitress was helpful with our menu questions. I would return here if I'm on the south side.

Well, they did it again! I went to this delightful restaurant again to celebrate my birthday and I was made to feel so extremely special. First, let me start by saying that after our last visit, I signed up as a rewards member. And I was so surprised to get a free entrée and drink for my birthday! Nobody does that anymore. You may get a dessert, but you were not getting an entire meal, so kudos to the owner, Jeremy whom I might say is quite a delightful young man!. I hope that this business does extremely well. He really has a very sweet spirit about him. I genuinely appreciated my free meal. I, of course, requested to sit in April's section because she is the bomb.com. Of course, and she showed up and showed out again today with her phenomenal service! And I failed to get the young man's name, but one of the additional servers came to me and gave me so many compliments and was just so extremely nice to me. I just was in awe! They truly made my birthday special! And.... So let's talk about the food, that chicken fried steak was the best I literally have ever had any place. And I've gotten this at many other restaurants, but it is perfectly seasoned & perfectly cooked. The only problem for me, which is usually not a problem is that it was too small. Usually it's too big. But seriously speaking, the portion did fill me up. It was more than enough. I just would have love to had more, lol! And the restaurant, itself is just so cute and delightful. They have it decorated so nicely. I love it is open, bright & welcoming. I'll be back with another five star review I'm sure.

My husband ordered the Homestead Platter ($12.49) and politely asked to substitute the bacon and sausage with country ham. We were absolutely okay with a reasonable upcharge for the substitution. However, instead of a substitution, we were charged $6.99 twice for the ham -- as if we had added two extra sides of ham -- totaling $13.98 just for the ham. When we questioned it, the waitress removed one of the $6.99 charges, but still left the other. So we ended up paying $6.99 for what should have been a simple substitution. To make it worse, we DID NOT even receive the bacon or sausage that were included in the original platter. So essentially, we paid $12.49 for TWO EGGs and A BISCUIT and $6.99 for ham. For context, your menu lists: Extra bacon or sausage: $4.99 Extra country ham: $6.99 So if a customer substitutes bacon and sausage (worth $4.99) with country ham (worth $6.99), the logical upcharge should be $2.00 at most -- not $6.99, and certainly not $6.99 twice. When we spoke to the manager, he agreed with the waitress saying that she charged us correctly and would only remove one of the $6.99. Obviously, both the manager and the waitress do not understand the difference between substitution and an extra order. Please train your employees!

Eggs Up Grill was a quick easy for a fast breakfast for a reasonable price and not high typical Atlanta prices. I went around 9am on Wednesday day before Thanksgiving. Wasn't as packed. I sat that the bar located more in the back of the restaurant. I ordered the Crème brûlée French toast. It was good. As you can see in my photo it wasn't as pretty made as in was in the promotion photo that came with the menu. It was good I'll give it 4/5. My only thing parts of the French toast were a bit hard to eat (maybe the caramelization). The tequila sunrise was okay. Will not order again. Wasn't made to my liking on how a tequila sunrise should taste. Bacon was really good. Prices were great. I enjoyed my time. Will i return? We shall see

Sooooooo, I purposely searched for a minority owned brunch spot that can accommodate large groups and came across the Eggs Up Grill. Baybay .. this place did not disappoint!!! I feel so bad that I don't remember our servers name but she was amazing!!! EVERYONE loved their food. My husband had the crab cake scramble (it's not called that but you'll get it when you go and see the menu). I had the Apple Caramel pancakes (again, not the exact name but y'all understand) My godmother had a typical southern breakfast (eggs, grits, corned beef hash) that had her literally licking her fingers! Listen here .. definitely frequenting this establishment!!!

Was looking for a different, not a chain, restaurant for breakfast and stumbled across this one. Lots to choose from on the menu. I finally made my choice I ordered the Benny, eggs Benedict with home fries and added a couple blueberry pancakes. The restaurant is very clean, good ambience playing upbeat hip hop music. The waitress was very kind and helpful with the menu. My order did not take long at all. The pancakes here are really big and fluffy, sooooo good! The eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection, the poached eggs were perfect. Their home fries, we added onions and peppers to them, were very good, not greasy. Would definitely come back here. Highly recommended. Come in before 8 a.m. and get the classic breakfast for $8 Senior day is Wednesday 20% off

Their friendly nature was the cherry on the top of the positive experience. I will share that it isn't a tiny space but not large, either. We did have some spill over of noise from other tables and the dishes being stacked at the counter that made it hard to hear the conversation at my table. Our party consisted of six people, and as you can see from the photos, everyone ordered something different no two dishes were the same. We started with the Craft Mimosa. Our first flavor was watermelon, which is shown in the photo. It was very good and had a strong watermelon flavor. The second flavor we tried was passion fruit, which wasn't my favorite. For a table appetizer, we chose the macaroni balls. They were fried to perfection on the outside, but unfortunately, when I bit into mine, it was cold on the inside, which was a bit disappointing. For my entrée, I ordered the Foul Play (chicken and waffles). I asked for the toppings on the side just in case I didn't like them. The waffle was delicious and didn't even need syrup. The chicken breast was fried well and paired nicely with the waffle. Overall, even though the dish was simple, it was a great choice. Our waitress was very nice and informative. She explained the most popular and top-ordered items, which really helped with our selections. Inside decor was pretty. There was also a bar if solo diner will like to sit there. Will I return? The server was not very happy to be at work, they weren't rude but also not just . We had a small mix up with our food as a side of spinach was put on the wrong plate which wouldn't have been an issue but we weren't all family so sharing after an item was eaten no one wanted to share. *SENT THIS TO THE BUSINESS INBOX 8/31/25. NO RESPONSE SO I AM POSTING IT HERE*…read more I got to your establishment shortly after placing my name on the waitlist. I followed the on-screen instructions to check in with the host upon arrival. I walked in a packed, very hot restaurant (later learned that the A/C was broken) and explained to the hostess that I was on the waitlist and she was extremely rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming and kept telling us "we aren't taking reservations right now" - I reiterated I didn't have a reservation but an active waitlist spot through the yelp app. She rudely asked for my name I gave it to her even spelled it out for her after she acted like she didn't hear me. She didn't even check her computer for my name, she flapped her huge blue-colored eyelashes and just said "well we aren't taking reservations" ... so after that I'm upset and my boyfriend asked to stand at the bar at a seat behind her. She says "you can order a drink from right there" but little did she know that my boyfriend knows the owner personally who frequents his bar that he works at each week. So he was going to let him know about the hostess and her rude service, but instead I said forget it and we left. We ended up going to Noveau a block away and was seated immediately, it was a complete 180 as far as environment and service. We ate and left, I checked the waitlist I was still on and it said I was 4th place in line. I drove all the way from Brookhaven to be talked to like I did something wrong when all I did was join a waitlist on yelp and check in as instructed. As a Black business owner myself I took this encounter very personally, as everyone else in front of us was being helped but us. Your hostesses are supposed to be the face of your business and this one was not it. This put such a bad taste in my mouth that I told my boyfriend that I will never return here and to make sure to let the owner know about this experience when he sees him. This is probably not the only complaint that this restaurant has received about this individual, and because of her, Noveau down the block now has a new loyal customer now. I see why our own people find it hard to support other black-owned businesses because you have people like her representing your business and treating us like we owe them something for trying to come in and spend money in your establishment. Then I later learned that she's actually a "family member" representing this business acting like that. I understand that you were operating that day with no A/C and no plumbing (ew) but don't take it out on people who showed up to support your business...again and again. Sad and ridiculous. Signed, byyyeeee never again.
