My oldest (dog) turned two over the weekend and wanted to get her something special. They bake all sorts of dog friendly treats here from small to large, sensitive tummies to can eat anything. My pup has been known to have a sensitive stomach so they helped me with what would be best choices for her. I ended up picking something that was for non-sensitive dogs but went with a smaller treat to minimize. We bought two of the treats that were iced and looked like mini cupcakes...one for the birthday pup and one for her brother. She liked them so much that she ate hers AND her brothers treat (hes like 60 pounds heavier than her) and her stomach was fine. I guess when it's your birthday, you get to eat others' cake. They have lots of different items in the store other than treats though, toys, collars, party hats, crate mats, etc. When in need of something special for the pups, I wouldn't hesitate to go back! read more

My dogs LOVE the treats from Three Dog Bakery. Whenever I am visiting Dallas I stop by and pick them up treats. Last time I was at there I had ordered one of my dogs a birthday cake. The cake looked great! Those of you with dogs... you must buy your treats here. Your dogs will thank you! read more

Three Dog Bakery - My shiba's carob birthday cake from Three Dog Bakery. - Pet Stores Near Me - Plano, Texas

My dogs love Three Dog Bakery! We have been coming to this location for almost 3 years, and I have previously visited the Southlake location. My dogs love all the toys, bones, rawhides, etc. I also think that it is super cute and fun that the ladies that work there try to get a picture of each puppy to put online and give them a treat in-store. I like that fact that a lot of the toys seem to be good quality and "safe" dogs toys, where they won't choke on them, but they can be expensive. We have bought a cake a few times, never had an issue, but we also bought in-store and they put my dogs name on right there. I have had an issue before with an all natural bone I bought there... It was like a carrot and sweet potato one? Well anyways my dog threw up like 3 or 4 times throughout the night, underneath my bed. Needless to say that orange mess was awful to clean up on the white carpet. I also have noticed that the manager/ owner? seems to get overwhelmed at times and can be very short with her customers. I could tell she was trying to help everyone as it was busy, but there is a difference in her attitude and the other people that work there. The others seem genuinely interested in each individual dog and don't mind assisting with any questions or picking out toys. I will continue to visit, as my dogs always have a great time and the individuals that manager/ owner has hired really make her store stand out. read more

Great place for healthy and all-natural doggie treats and food, beds, bowls, leashes/collars/harnesses, toys, etc. My furry kids love coming to TDB and getting spoiled by the wonderful staff. They give your furry kids a warm welcome when they walk in (very dog-friendly place!), and there are events that you can take your dog to (Puppy Play Dates, Mutt Mixers, etc.). The customer service is also amazing. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE!!! Everyone is so friendly and the options and endless. My baby girl loved her treats we got here. How fun is it to have a bakery to take your pup to?! Genius idea. :) read more

Our pups, Lucy and Max, give this 5 stars. They love when we come home with bag of goodies from the "Bark-ery"!

My dog Buca loves it here. She goes insane sniffing everything and picking out treats. The staff is always so nice and takes pictures to post on their facebook page when you come in. read more

really cute dog bakery in plano; it's privately owned and has treats made out of human grade ingredients; better for your dogs as you know the ingredients are good for them. They sell treats in bulk, prebagged treats, cold treats, and baked treats as well as toys and other fun dog accessories. Might be a little pricier than bigger pet accessory stores, but it is definitely worth it. Owners and staff are very friendly and dogs are always welcome! read more

This is a cute little pet shop with a large selection of food. The clothes and grooming supplies are kind of expensive, but the food are great and my Shiba Inu loves them. The staffs are really nice, except one of the older lady was kinda rude when I checked out. This happen to me every time I come and I noticed that she was rude to other customers too. I still like this place and would recommend it to everyone. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! The employees remember my dogs by name and they are so friendly, sweet, and helpful. My girls (2 gorgeous Weims) love going to the bakery and getting treats. The bakery is clean, the doggie desserts look scrumptious, and the items they sell are high quality. They also offer special order items like birthday cakes and collars/leashes. Lots of options for dogs with specific allergies as well. Everything is fresh and enticing. The prices are fair and they will wrap your treats up so you can take them home. Highly recommended if you have a special dog in your life! read more

Cant speak to the treats, but definitely don't buy any toys here. Tried to return a toy that was ripped within 24 hours of the purchase, the response was 'well, these toys aren't meant to last a lifetime.' A lifetime vs 24 hours is a pretty big difference. Hollywood Feed stands by all their products. read more

Three Dog Bakery - cheap toys. This one ripped after 24 hours of normal use. Tried to return it....'the toys aren't meant to last a lifetime.' - Pet Stores Near Me - Plano, Texas

Amazing selection, adorable bakery items, and they were SO sweet to my pup. I wanted to get him a treat for his birthday, and the associate asked me what he liked, gave him little samples, and helped pick out a perfect assortment. Everything was priced well, too. Will be back!! read more

I have been a customer at three Dog Bakery in Plano for at least 5-6 years. Each year, I have gotten a birthday cake for my dog. Today, I called to order a cake for pick-up later today and after 5 minutes on the phone getting all my information, which is already in their computer system since I am an established customer, I was asked by the unfriendly woman for my credit card number. I was driving and didn't have access to my wallet. I informed her that I am a long time customer and will pay for it when I pick it up in 2 hours. She informed me that they had a new policy since 2 customers ordered cakes last week and didn't pick them up. I assured her that I would pick it up and pay for it. She didn't even offer me to call back when I wasn't driving and had access to my wallet. I asked to speak to the owner to which she replied that she was the owner. Needless to say, I didn't order the cake with such poor customer service for a long time customer and I will be taking my business to PAWS Barkery in Frisco. read more

What can I say, I love my dogs. I went here because one of my fur children was turning 1 year old, and I wanted to give her something special to celebrate. This shop has literally any treat imaginable, made specially for your dog: rawhides, chews, cookies, biscuits, ice cream, and of course, all their fresh baked cakes and bars, even biscotti! I didn't look around the store too closely though, since I was mainly focused on the items in the bakery case. The lady working the counter that day was very helpful. I told her I wanted something fresh baked and softer in texture for my puppy, and she showed me my options. I opted for two of the peanut butter bars, one for each of my dogs, since peanut butter is basically their life blood. I took them home, and they were a huge hit, my dogs LOVED them. My only con about this place is that it's a little pricey. I spent a little over $8 for just two bars that were devoured in like 15 seconds, but you can't really put a price on your dog's happiness so I would totally come here again and get some other things for them to try out. read more

Poor customer service. The woman behind the counter acted as if I was troubling her in some way by stopping in. She was condescending and abrupt. This is not the first time I've been treated rudely at this location and will never shop here again. read more

we took our dog here for his first birthday to get him some treats and he had an amazing time! the selection they offer is wonderful, and i love how they have water out for the puppies (all dogs are puppies). we spent waaaay too much money on him there for his birthday, and he got fitted for a new harness and everything. he made friends with a couple other dogs when they came in to shop as well, even one that was a bit more aggro than he is used to. one star off because the mint cookies that we purchased in bulk from the back of the store were buggy and i had to freeze them and sift out the dead bugs after. i grew up working in a pet store though so this isn't really a big deal and hard to avoid unless you pre-package and seal in plastic in specific sizes, and that was still in ny as opposed to texas which takes the cake for bugs. also it was hard to find special treats in the case that didn't have carob and i don't really want my dog developing a taste for carob as it's so similar to chocolate: you can share mom's apple or have a carrot but not beg for mom's m&ms. just personal preference though, as we all have them for our pups. also many of the toys and other items were geared toward smaller dogs, and while my baby is only 37lbs he's a mutt and has massive bite strength, so it would be nice if the selection was expanded a bit outside of the toy-small dog range. and finally, i wish that the store and the website were connected as a franchise, so that when the website offers a deal the store accepts/offers the same deal. sirius will definitely be going back with us though, as he had a wonderful time there being fawned over. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I just called about getting a cake for my dog. It say's you can order online, and Trish on the phone says to me, "You can't ,this is a chain". On their website it says you have to order a large cake to get Happy Birthday and the dogs name. So I asked for a large cake. This is Friday, and I told her I wanted to get the cake on Monday (my dog's birthday. She says, snottily, "We need five days notice. I'm going out of town today, and won't be back on Monday. I mentioned I wanted to large cake to her (due to the details on their website above) and she's says, extremely rudely, "A large cake for just one dog? I don't overfeed my dogs". Do not patronize this establishment! This lady Trish is going on vacation so refused to make a cake for me. There website says they require 72 hours notice. I am filing a complaint with the owner and escalating beyond that, "since this is a chain". My dog is also turning 13, and it is very likely to be his last birthday. read more

Writing review based on something that happened a couple of years ago at this location. I was going through some old pictures and re-discovered the reason for why I decided to no longer shop at this store. In the picture, there was a closeup of MOLD growing on a frozen yogurt-like treat that I had purchased for my pups. Up until that experience I was a frequent shopper at Three Dog. They had decent personnel and a cozy cool vibe. I reported the mold issue to the lady working and to my surprise, she not only didn't appear apologetic (was rather abrupt and unprofessional) about the moldy treat, she kept expressing disbelief b/c the "treats are made fresh" so there's no reason for the mold - well what can i say, there was a nice cluster of hairy mold staring right at us. She did end up refunding me but I was unhappy towards her lack of concern; if I were an employee there, I would feel super embarrassed and apologize profusely, maybe even offer to remedy the situation somehow (i.e. inquire w/ manager if she could offer some free treats to regain customer confidence in their products and extend consumer loyalty). read more

I happened to go to this place this evening. I drove all the way to Plano from Dallas. The young girl at the store obviously was not taught 'customer service'. She had an attitude and was not at all helpful! I have a 3 month old puppy and wanted to know something about some chew treats! Her only response to my questions was 'it depends'! Nothing more than that! She really seemed to give me the impression that I was a burden there! The only real communication from her was, 'Do you want a frequent buyer card?' Really? I don't think so, since she really messed up my first impression! The treats looked attractive! But I am not going to do business with rude people! read more

This place is just awesome. The minute you walk in the door you're greeted by the extremely friendly people who work there, and they snap a picture of your dog. They are all dog lovers and so patient and kind (even if your dog is very excited)! The cakes, cookies, and cupcakes look good enough for a human to eat. Three Dog Bakery also does a lot of work with rescue and foster groups in the area. They are the best and we love this place! read more

Great place it was clean the employees are really nice and helpful a nice selection of toys the only thing was the treats were really hard for my yorkie to chew I had to break them apart after soaking them in water and the toy squeaker was broken but I hadn't noticed till after we got home and she started playing with it but over all lesson learned I will go with the refrigerated treats and check the toys before I buy! I would go back again read more

Super friendly folks at this place. Very genuine service, too! We bought our dog a birthday hat and treat here about a year ago, and we will definitely be back for every birthday. Thanks so much, Three Dog. read more

Our 2 dogs (Westie and white German Shepherd) love their trips to Three Dog. Every time we go in the lady's take pics of our dogs and give them a treat and love on them. Extremely friendly...prices can be a tad expensive but worth it. We get our dogs birthday Pup cakes with their names on it and they love them. read more

Very unfriendly staff. They seemed annoyed that customers came into their store. They claim to have a rule about keeping retractable leashes locked. They don't enforce it though and I had to keep my dog in corner of store because another dog kept trying to bite my dog. It's owner was not paying attention and allowed it to roam around on the retractable leash and it was trying to attack my dog. Why quote a rule of you don't enforce it? read more

I am sad to say I would NOT recommend Three Dog Bakery in Plano to anyone. I have been there countless times and spend a lot of money. Time and time again they do not back ANY of the products they sell. Once they have your money they are done with you. I am very disappointed in my experiences at Three Dog Bakery and would caution anyone before purchasing anything from here. It's truly unfortunate as my dog loves going there. read more
