Horrible customer service. Called to order food to deliver today, right. No, Shea tells me to go to the website and order???? OK, I did, the website doesn't have a section for same day delivery. I call her and she is telling me I "have to" do another task on the site to get a prompt for same day delivery, really not willing to take my order on the phone and waste my time in trying to figure out their not user friendly website! Whoa. This HF location is much bigger than the one by my house. That's not actually saying much since all HF's are smaller than the big box Petco/Petsmarts of the world. Anyway, great selection (as always) and terrific customer service (as always). I think HF is hands-down the best of all of the pet stores at providing helpful friendly service. The selection is more carefully edited, but the quality is top notch. I really love their toy selection for my pup. I just wish my pup didn't consider it her mission to destroy all of the toys I buy her in a matter of hours! read more

My review is based on what you have for cats from the old store to the NEW store. This store doesn't support cats only dogs in the way they should based on your numbers. The old store which was smaller had more products than the new one. Love the people here. It's a shame supported them but no more. Owner needs to support cats as well as dogs, especially based on your own numbers not tucked away in a hallway closet in the back. So 95% of the NEW store is all dogs it's a much larger space and that doesn't equate to the percentages below. The old store was small and it had more product than the NEW store with more square footage. I was surprised by this. I enjoy the people there but really sad. Based on the number's below a quarter of the store should be cats. So unfortunately the numbers don't match. read more

Hollywood feed is such a great small pet supply and pet food place. I kind of liken it to a comparison of grocery stores, say Whole Foods to Kroger. It's the Whole Foods of pet supply/food stores! The employees and manager greet you as soon as you walk in. They answer any questions you might have, you can bring your pet in there and they'll help fit them for a collar, leash, whatever. They also have a no questions asked moneyback guarantee. I love this place, the one closest to my house recently closed, but this one is only 2 miles further. This chain is awesome, so many healthy choices for our furry friends. I love bringing my dog here, he always receives lots of attention. My senior pal loves the Orijen brand and it was a suggestion by one of the staff. Grizzly was being so picky and it was such a relief when we brought this brand home and he ate it. I caught a glimpse of this place while on a froyo run. (Anything with a dog on the logo peaks my interest!) I popped in to check it out. There is so much to look at! Colorful and squeaky toys line the walls. They are comparable if not the same toys Petsmart/Petco sells... but for less! They have organic noncommercial dog foods on most of the shelves for cats and dogs. This store sells pet beds, collars, leashes, and even cutesy knick-knacks for pet owners! I live for that sh*t. The main issue I have with my dog is that he goes through chew toys and bones like I go through purses, which in turn chews through my wallet. The antler chews are amazing, but SO ridiculously expensive at Petsmart. They sell them here for half the price! I also found something I've never seen at other commercial stores: a build-a-bone station! Probably the greatest idea ever. I'm pretty excited for this new location. I even picked some stuff up for my little guy this first visit. They opened only the day prior, so they were still getting everything out on the shelves, but they are very helpful and answer your questions to the best of their ability and knowledge. Wow, amazing customer service. I stopped in last week to get some special feed for my dog. It worked well so I called back 2 days later for more. By the time I drove there Janie had my order together and Nick remembered me from the previous purchase. I went back in today for treats and my dog lay in the sun and had a chewy while I shopped. I apologized because she was being stubborn and Nick even watched her for me. I can't say enough nice things!! read more

This was our first time in the store and immediately workers greeted us and asked if we needed help. They were especially nice and attentive to our dog Bo and I noticed that they workers there also remembered returning customers / pets names which is a small detail but really goes a long way. Omg I love Hollywood Feed! Best kitty litter! Favorite items: Hollywood Feed's Wyoming Scented Cat Litter, Earth Rated Lavendar Doggie Bags (yes I poop scoop my litter box in these). My "kids" favorites: Fromm's Chicken Au Frommage, Surf & Turf. I constantly come here for both my cat food and my litter. Nicely stocked, great small store atmosphere, and employees are very nice. They carry a large selection of organic, raw and non commercial made food and treats and guarantee your pet will like it--just return the bag. Best customer service I have ever experienced! I pulled up in front of the store at 7:49 pm not sure of their hours. Googled and saw that their closing time was 7:30 so as I got ready to leave a young man poked his head out of the door waving me to come in. They treated me like I was the only customer in the store...wait, I was! They didn't rush me and a nice young lady gave me some helpful information on the items I was purchasing. This store is awesome!! The first thing I noticed were the friendly employees and the cleanliness of the establishment. The employees immediately greeted my fiance and myself and asked the names of our dogs while offering them some treats. We were given informative literature about the dog food they carry and offered a lot of assistance. While browsing, we discovered that Hollywood Feed has excellent prices and carries very high quality foods, treats, toys, and accessories. The employees were nice enough to let me come back in the store 10 minutes after closing time to exchange a collar that I had mistakenly grabbed in the wrong size. I saw this place while shopping last weekend and made a note to come back and check it out. Today I walked in to look around and was really pleased with what I saw. They carry most high end food brands, but they also have good pricing and a loyalty program (cheaper than our normal store by $5 - and they said they will price match). They also run some promotions where they donate to local rescue organizations. Most of their other items and accessories tended to be quality brands. I ended up buying a bag of dog food, two new martingale collars, two new leashes, and some treats. Only downside is that from what I have read this store is smaller than their other locations, and this store did not carry one of the foods that I buy though they said the location on Coit does.
