This place is so vibrant inside, reclaiming what it used to be in the era it existed in (a small movie theater). I met a friend here for brunch and it's very old-school diner-like inside. It's really cool and vintage! I got a very delicious breakfast sandwich and a mimosa. The sandwich on a brioche bun and two thick turkey sausage patties was very tasty and filling! I would definitely come back and try some more menu items!

Brunch with my sisters and Aunt was very good. Coffee cake was warm and cinnamon-y. The cornflake French toast was vey good - crunchy and not overly sweet. The "I could have made this at home" breakfast was good. Soup flight - she said it was okay but the mushroom soup was lack luster, pretty bland. Chilaquiles was good. Large portion too And the chicken tenders sans the waffle was kind of disappointing- pretty much looked like they came out of the frozen food section. (The only thing I didn't take a picture of) Service was great for a busy Sunday brunch. Restaurant was cute and had many interesting things to look at.

Enjoyed brunch here with a good friend of mine. We made reservations, which was such a nice change for a brunch spot. Being able to sit right down instead of waiting was a huge plus. I ordered the chilaquiles and we shared pancakes. The flavors were great, but everything came out cold, including the chorizo. That said, I would absolutely give it another try, as it felt more like a timing issue in the kitchen than a reflection of the food itself. The atmosphere was amazing. Everything was beautifully arranged, and I loved how the space used vintage pieces in an eclectic way while still feeling modern and fresh. Overall, a nice spot. I would definitely go back and would recommend giving it a try as well.

Took my mom here for brunch and the interior has such a cool vibe! Decorated super cute with the most unique finds. Started with the mushroom bisque which had good taste, but unfortunately came out not hot at all. Unfortunately we had to ask for it to be heated up. Then we shared the "I could have made this at home" which was eggs, bacon, and "crispy mashed potatoes". We assumed everything may have been pre made ahead of time and just ready in a buffet style manner because our bacon nor the potatoes were hot either. The potatoes came out cold unfortunately and were not crispy, and the bacon was not fresh. Service was great, but unfortunately will not be coming back.

This place is so cute and quirky. I love the decor and how it all is mismatched. Our server was really good and she checked in just often enough. She helped guide us when we had questions on the menu and made for a great experience. To the food...the bourbon flatbread was the perfect balance or sweet and savory, and the dough was cooked perfectly to hold the toppings. My only complaint was the platter it was brought on. It was too small and when bits of food fell they loaded all over the table since the board barely held the flatbread. The smash burger was juicy and the sauce on it made the burger! Fries were crisp and delish! We will return!

Went here recently for dinner and the inside of the restaurant has really fun decor everywhere. All of the staff was super kind, friendly, and helpful and the food came out really quickly. I got the rigatoni bolognese and the pork Milanese, both of which were super flavorful and delicious. I would definitely recommend Three Cats to anyone looking for a fun and delicious spot to eat.

Three Cats Cafe is such a cute spot in downtown Clawson. I've been here a few times for brunch and the service is always friendly and attentive! The food is great too - the only thing I would say, is that I wish the menu was a bit larger with more to choose from, but everything I've ever gotten was delicious! They have one of the best Mimosas & Espresso Martinis in town too!

What a cool idea for a restaurant! Three Cats is adjacent and related to Leon & Lulu's. It's kind of a store front but with tables for dining. I'm in a group of women that goes to restaurants starting with the next letter of the alphabet each month. So when the waiter asked what brought us in, we explained that to him. He thought it was a great idea! Most of us ended up ordering the same thing: Chicken Champagne . It was lightly breaded chicken breast on a bed of pasta with a lovely mushroom and champagne sauce. We all liked it. The other two women, who ordered other things (one had the short ribs and the other had a salad) also enjoyed their meals. The only thing missing to me was that everything is a la carte; no bread or accompanying salad/soup comes with the entrees. For $23 and up, I would expect that at least one of these things would be included. Still, the food, atmosphere and service were quite good, and i would definitely return should the occasion arise.

I always enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant if you want atmosphere and a wide open pleasant happy place it is perfect. Service was good. I didn't care for the mushroom soup. It was just purée mushrooms. It was very flavorful however, I just don't need to eat baby food and that's what it felt like even though it was flavorful for must say.. Everything else was tasteful and enjoyable.

Have a meal, buy a card! Loved this place! Such a cool, eclectic place! From randomly placed tables, to a car in the middle of the room to a wall lined with a huge selection of birthday cards - this place is so entertaining! And the best part is that food is good too! I personally loved the mushroom soup! Server was pleasant and drinks made well. Definitely coming back to try for brunch.

Such a cute and unique spot in Clawson! We went for brunch and our meals were both perfect and delicious. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the french toast. The chicken was perfectly fried and juicy. The french toast is also worth the try - it is crusted in corn flakes which is such a unique and yummy take on your average french toast! The restaurant is large with many seating options so we were seated and greeted by our waiter very quickly. Cant wait to come back and try out their dinner menus!

The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.

The city was bustling with people, and I was pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous the downtown area was. The café had a vibrant, energetic atmosphere that perfectly matched the excitement of the city. Our server was absolutely amazing and made excellent recommendations. Next time, I definitely want to try the red velvet pancakes! My friend ordered the Triple Triple Omelette with the original buttermilk pancakes, and we both chose the cheesy grits. The cheesy grits were very creamy, though I would recommend adding a little more butter to enhance the flavor. That was really my only critique. The restaurant was busy, but after dining there, I completely understand why. Despite the crowd, we were greeted immediately, and the service was prompt throughout our visit. I also think I may have ordered the wrong dish because my mom got an omelette with pancakes on the side and enjoyed it. I gambled with the huevos rancheros but they were just ok. I wish the potatoes were more seasoned. You definitely get a huge portion for whatever you order so expect to split with someone or have leftovers. I finally got to try Toast in Ferndale for brunch!…read more The parking situation is a small lot behind the back and finding a spot on a weekend morning wasn't easy! We didn't have reservations so we did have to wait a while for a table. But, Toast made it manageable with an outdoor waiting area where you can order drinks from the bar. By the way, the outdoor area is not fully insulated, just sectioned off with clear tarp, so it can still feel a little chilly. However, it was nice having somewhere sit and mingle instead of just standing around by the door. Now to the good part: My table ordered the trashy hashy, toast egg sammy, and a muddled strawberry vanilla iced matcha. I started off with the iced matcha and ended with the egg sammy with a side of parmesan grits. The matcha was a little watery but good. The sandwich was super flavorful but very messy. My sister then asked to speak with a manager. When the manager came over, the other ladies in our group also mentioned the waitress's attitude. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the general manager became defensive and stated that the waitress did not have a nasty attitude.
