I was extremely excited to order my pot roast "deluxe" sandwich and my BLT club sandwich. In total, my order came to a whopping $31 dollars. I figured it'd be worth it because of everything the meals came with. Instead, i was surprised to find a pot roast sandwich that was in no way, shape, or form "deluxe", and was smaller than ones my mom used make me for lunch in elementary school, and bread on my BLT that was thinner than the tomato slices on it. Additionally, a side of soup was left out of my order, the "pickles" they put in my order turned out to be cucumbers, and the fries that were supposed to come with both meals were messily tossed into the BLT box, and there were very few fries at that, maybe 20 fries. Never ordering from this place some call a "diner" ever again. strongly advise against wasting your money on the food they serve their customers. read more

I'm not one to leave bad reviews. However, this time it was necessary. I went to eat at three brothers diner tonight and right as my friends and I sat down one of the owner's sons right away looked like he did not want to be there. As we were looking at the menu a costumer came in and was being very polite and the owner's son had an attitude with him and would walk away from him and ignore the customer talking to him by going on his phone. The son began to swear at the customer and caused a scene in the diner in front of customers eating. For the rest of the night the son had a major attitude slamming the kitchen doors and being extremely rude to the customers. No one should have to sit in a restaurant eating while hearing the owner's son yell at the customers. He made the restaurant look extremely bad and his father, the owner, sat in the corner watching him be rude to customers and did nothing about it read more

As far as diners go, this one is as average as they get. Then again,it is the true diner experience. Even the name!! It seems like every other East Coast city has a three brothers diner! Why is it always 3, why not 2 or 4? No sisters? How I digress, back to my review. Luke warm so-so tasting food for breakfast. The inside was very traditional (for a diner) split into two sides with lots of booths. The help was older but not as cranky as some diners. I work in Danvers and live in Holliston. Frequently I have evening events which necessitate my not going home for dinner before the event. I have been looking a place to get some good food before the event. A coworker recommended Three Brothers. So I went. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich. I was asked if I wanted anything with the sandwich. I asked for French fries. I was given the sandwich and told someone would bring me the fries. At the cash register I was asked if I want a drink. I paid for the sandwich and fries and told again someone would bring me the fries. The fries were $2.95! I thought a little pricy, but what the hey, not significantly out of line for a restaurant like this. I was hungry and a little pressed for time so I started in on my sandwich. The fries didn't come until I was ¾ through my sandwich. This wasn't bad, but the fries were not even hot. Luke warm at the best. I could understand if the place was busy, but it wasn't busy. There were only a couple of people in line and there were lots of empty tables. so why were the fries not piping hot right out of the deep fryer? The food was first class, excellent, delicious, but getting cold fries, after wading through ¾ of my Reuben, will cause me to find another place to get dinner before an event. I just went to Three Brothers Diner and when I went in, I saw that it was not very busy. I found this nice so I could have a nice meal. As soon as I sat down, a young man caught my eye. He was sitting on his phone and looked miserable. I knew he worked there when I saw him giving one of the bags for door dash. I figured he was just having a bad day, which is normal for everyone at their job. However, the line was crossed for me when a door dash worker came in and the kid was EXTREMELY rude. The kid was being compleatly disrespectful, basicaly shoved the bag at him. When the door dash man asked the waitress a question, the young man chimed in with a snotty response. Worst of all, he handed a bag to one of the waitresses and said "Give this to him and tell him to get the **** out." He caused a huge scene which clearly bothered everybody in there. From that point on I felt very, very uncomfortable and I immediatley lost my appetite. The "worker" was on his phone pretty much the entire time. It not only makes him look bad, but the resturaunt as well. I should not have to rush to eat because I felt uncomfortable, unfortunately that was the case tonight. I have never seen a staff member so ignorant in my life. His actions will continue to drive people straight out of that place. It really is a shame considering the food was pretty good, and our waitress was nice. I did say something about it on my way out, but the boy at the register was also in a bad mood, and tried to come up with an excuse, mostly blaiming the door dash worker. I was surprised because I would assume the other staff would take this very seriously. I am not sure if I would go back if that young man still works there. It is sad that I had to write this because I do not write reviews on establishments. It is unfortunate the service we recieved did not live up to the things I have heard about this diner. read more

I have ordered here before and food was good. I just ordered tonight 8/15/2020. And boy was I disappointed . We ordered online and our order was completely wrong. Order French toast with strawberries didn't get the strawberries. Order prime rib with aju and got plain meat and even plain potatoes no aju. Order 2 chocolate moose cakes and you guessed it they didn't get that either. Instead I got a carrot cake and a red velvet cake. I also ordered French onion soup and got chicken noodle soup instead. When I called the guy he was very rude. I heard the guy who answered the phone cuss out and tell off another person that worked there how they should have called me and told me that they didnt have the items. I also ordered the lemon meringue pie and man it was gross the whipped topping was so old it was like a hard marshmallow consistency. The chocolate mouse pie was very gritty and tasted like an old instant pudding. So when they came back with my other stuff minus the cakes the gave me $8.50 for the 2 cakes and asked for the other two cakes back! How gross. We are in a pandemic and your taking food back and probably going to serve it to other people. I mean thank God we aren't sick but what if we were. So much for being sanitary. I ordered my girlfriend chicken fingers over uber eats, when she bit into one of her chicken fingers she discovered it was undercooked. I called the diner to complain and was given attitude by the manager accusing me of lying when I told him the chicken was undercooked and that he needed to make sure he was sending out cooked chicken before somebody got sick. He then started using foul language with me and said I was wasting his time and asked what the hell I wanted. Very disappointed. Luckily my girlfriend didn't get sick, threw out the chicken. Take out was horrible, I can admit I was a bit late to pick it up. But still presentation is everything. I got a open steak sandwich with fries the bread was soggy and the steak was not well done(asked for well done). Lettuce had to be days old cause it had browned about three slices on there. Put the tomato on the bottom of the steak so the bread could have red soggyness all over. And I don't understand how you put a big steak on two pieces of bread one full and the other cut in triangles and a dollop of mayo on top. Cost about $14 for a horrible breakfast. Disappointed!! Best diner in Hamden!!! Way better than Acropolis or IHOP. The food is always fresh, delicious, and well-prepared (even in the middle of the night). It always comes out fast and the wait staff is very good. They always notice if your coffee is running low and will just bring the pot over (and always remember more creamer) without asking! Yes! The wait staff isn't ALWAYS friendly, but they mostly are, and I've never seen them be rude. They have a huge menu and everything on it I've had is good. They also automatically total up your order in the cheapest way possible, so you can just blindly order your breakfast however you want it without worrying about being charged too much for the extras. It's also quite clean, except that the un-carpeted section doesn't always feel the cleanest...a little gritty. So if you're in sandals and it's been raining, just ask for the carpeted section. I've also never had to wait for a table even when the other places are packed. This place is truly a hidden gem. You can even call-in takeout orders and I think they do delivery too. read more

Never again will I go back! me and the husband and my 1 yr old daughter stoped to grab a bite to eat rite after shopping we orderd 2 steak n cheese subs w fries n a grilled cheese for my daughter, the subs were served on hot dog buns pilled w lettuce n tomatos and u could barely see the meat, the large drinks lool like a small my orange juice taste like dish detergent the cup of water they give u is warm, so I ask 4 a cup w ice n get a dirty cup w ice my daughthers grilled cheese was done w old bread!
