Visiting CT once again we always pass by this diner. Sometimes opened sometimes not. Happened to be open as we were passing so we said let's pop in. As we entered was greeted and showed to our seats. Classic diner interior with the booth seats. Love them. We decided on the taco as the appetizer. It was delicious. I am going to make that my meal if I ever go back. I also ordered a vanilla milk shake and fries which was good in my opinion.

This place is so cute and retro. I got a Western omelette. So rare to have fresh red peppers added instead of all green. For me it makes all the difference in 4 vs 5 stars. Plus homemade bread, good home fries and great coffee. YUM. Mackenzie is my server. Beautiful smile, great service. Can't believe it's my first time here. It won't be my last.

    Cute booths!

Love it! First impression, this place is adorable and immaculate. The staff is friendly and attentive, the menu has a lot to offer. My eggs Benedict were fabulous! Home fries were delicious too. Looking forward to visiting again!

Good stuff. This place may look like a typical New England Greek Diner but don't let looks fool you. Hot chocolate made with milk and fresh whipped cream, all natural foods, lots of gluten free offerings and just delicious food is what they do. While the desserts were gluten free and I was too full to order after lunch, their baked goods are baked in house. You can order breakfast or a tenderloin dinner- it was a great experience.

I literally drove 40 minutes when I found out this restaurant had VEGAN French toast. Not many places have exciting vegan options. French toast? Forget about it. As a Los Angeles native, I am so used to a city having vegan options. I didn't know what to expect. When I tried the French toast, it was THE ABSOLUTE BEST FRENCH TOAST I've ever had. I'm so glad this place isn't close to me because I would have it again and again. The coffee was great cafe coffee. Service was amazing and he was super sweet. The tofu scramble was underwhelming. I won't order again. It gives 1960s cafe energy and they have parking on site.

Great French toast and friendly service. Fast seating and lots of parking. Will be back!

First time visiting Georgie's. It was a Sunday morning. The hostess and waitress were kind and welcoming. They are efficient in cleaning tables and getting folks in. For drinks we had the fresh orange juice and coffees. We ordered buckwheat pancakes, hand cut fries, Georgie's omelette with home fries, and a veggie omelette with fresh fruit. The juice was delicious, and the coffee was good. Omelettes were great as well. The buckwheat pancakes were also good, tad more greasy than I think necessary but it's nice that there is a vegan pancake option. Similarly with the fries, you bit into it and just tasted oil, as of the oil was not hot or they were sitting in the oil too long, the fruit was not fresh with some of the fruit brown in appearance. Overall good quick bite, but I don't think it's somewhere I will be a regular.

I used to hear about Georgie's often pre pandemic. It's just that I never got a chance to try the place until last week. There aren't many places with vegan options near WH/Orange/Milford, probably this is the only place with a big vegan menu and hence I decided to do a take out order while I was in the area. My family and I ordered a bunch of items from here and sadly everything was average at the best. The vegan wrap I got had mostly boiled potatoes. Rest or the items were greasy. I couldn't take many pictures. On the plus side, the service was best, literally every employee there was extremely friendly and welcoming (a rarity these days!)

They said we were crazy traveling nearly 2hrs from home to West Haven/New Haven CT but the joke is on them-they are the ones missing out on perfection! My foodie buddy and I search for adventures and culinary delights and Georgie's was her find! What a find! Our love of Drive-ins, Diners, and Dives brought us here (diner). So glad it did! The pastrami sandwich on homemade brioche bun was tender, not fatty, melt in your mouth perfection. Super flavorful! The goat cheese, sausage, spinach omelet (Tuscan) was rich, creamy, deliciously spiced but the highlight was the creamy whipped goat cheese within. Worthy of a culinary eye roll. My favorite dish here. Home fries are typically hey they are cooked potato chunks but here the fresh potato flavor comes through and the chef knows exactly how to serve them (not mushy not too Al dente). Excellent! The Carmel apple French toast on homemade bread truly melted into your mouth. The softness of the bread along with the crisp tart apple pieces and the sweetness of the fresh whip cream and Carmel sauce was a superb bite. Seriously even the coffee here was excellent and the fact that they have nondairy creamers! This lactose intolerant foodie thanks you! A two hour drive for culinary perfection is well worth it and we will return.

Totally forgot to take pictures but such a good find. I had gluten free caramel apple French toast and my spouse had salmon Benedict. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Awesome old time dinner feel and decorations. We will hit up again next time we're in town

Nice retro diner look, like something from The Jetsons. Fair sized lot, but only a few cars in it, at a time (9:15AM) when you would expect it to be busy. Inside, only one other couple in a booth. The diner, circa 1956, definitely has a retro, classic diner look and feel. Everything except mini juke boxes in each booth. Brian, our server, was great. Very attentive. Menu has some interesting choices, and they make their own corned beef hash. I order CBH with 2 eggs over, grits, and rye. My best friend, Locomotive Breath, formerly known as Pots & Pans, just has coffee. The food was phenomenal, spectacular, every good adjective that one of my Yelp friends uses to describe her meals. Seriously, the grits were right up their with the best I've ever had, as was the CBH. The food was 5-star worthy. Why the overall rating of 4 stars? Cost. Prices, in my opinion, were exorbitant. Cup of Joe for $3.25, eggs w CBH, etc for $18.88. My bill, with a $5 tip was $32.36. I know they feature organic eggs, etc, etc, but just a bit pricey to merit a 5-star rating.

Considering it was Mother's Day, we chose to go to Georgie's diner. The restaurant was clean and well organized. They had plenty of staff and the gal behind the grill was a phenomenal worker. Unfortunately, both the food and the service were just not up to par. The service we received today was rather mediocre. They advertise that they use quality fresh organic ingredients. None of the four dishes we ordered seem to have fresh ingredients. The food was rather bland and absolutely had no flavor. The portions were on the small side. The whole experience was rather disappointing and surprising as we have been to Georgie's before on many occasions.

    Vegan and the signature sandwiches.

We decided to go to Love it Vegan before a show at The Warner (it is directly across the street)…read moreand were absolutely thrilled with our meal! My husband and I are not vegan, but I am seriously lactose intolerant and limit animal products for health reasons. We brought my brother-in-law who has a serious dairy allergy. The staff was amazing. You felt welcome the second you sat down. They were so kind to my brother-in-law (who has special needs) and happily explained and accommodated him without a second thought. It's beyond comforting to have an entire menu we don't have to worry will cause an allergic reaction. The food was excellent. As I said, we are not vegan, but we will be returning time and time again. The honey mustard and fries may be my new favorite comfort food. They were perfection! I had the steak and cheese and it was in awe of the flavor AND a great cheese on top. The strawberry cupcake I would get a million more times. Simple and sweet. The restaurant collaborated with JP Farm Sanctuary so you can see the pictures of their animals hanging around the restaurant. There is also local art. Very impressed. This was BEYOND needed in Litchfield County.

Delicious juice blends to start. Amazing buffalo cauliflower - our server said it was the best and we agree! Not the soggy, dough-laden stuff you normally get. Crisp and light and wonderful buffalo sauce. Fried oyster mushrooms - great! We had a mix of sandwiches - all great! French fries - so good! Chocolate peanut butter pie - fantastic! My vegan daughter was delighted as were the non- vegans. Also very allergen friendly. And just really the nicest, most helpful and friendly staff. Wish we lived closer!

Though, I vowed never to come back after a few poor visits a long time ago, I'm glad I didn't keep that promise. Now that the cafe is open to the public again, things are running smoothly and it's nice to be able to interact with the staff. The food here is AMAZING. I'm not personally vegan but the menu items can easily turn anyone into a vegan. I'm currently learning how to recreate some of these recipes. I live in NC so when we drive to CT, Three Girls Vegan is a must-visit. Some of my favorite options are: the "clam" strips, chik'n bowl with mashed potatoes (it recreates the KFC bowl really well), Caesar salad, eggplant pesto rolls, and the chocolate donuts. I love going in after picking up my to-go order waiting outside because their bakery section isn't on the online menu, so I might add a few extra desserts while I'm there. The inside is cute, minimally decorated, but welcoming. There are a few tables inside but seating is mostly outside. I always look forward to my next roadtrip to CT because Three Girls Vegan will always be on that list of places I need to visit before going home. Yes, there is a location in SC but I have yet to go.
