Jerri's We went here for breakfast in a Sunday morning around 9am. This place is cute. They had about 13 tables and a place to sit at the bar. They had a variety of menu items. This place specializes in Columbian food. They had traditional Colombian item as well as your traditional American breakfast items as well. I ordered a dish which was an arepa with steak, beans, cheese on it. It was good it was flavorful and the steak wasn't over cooked which was something I was a little nervous about. This place was nice and fast we got our food pretty quick! This place has street parking. They have a very small parking lot which hold probably about 6 cars behind the restaurant. This place looks like hole in the wall walking by it but the place is nice and clean and the food and staff are great. read more

What an amazing spot! The staff was so incredible and some of the most kind people I have ever met. They offer breakfast food all day, and has a great classic diner feel to it with a twist - they also offer authentic Columbian food. Everything I tried was so delicious. I especially loved the empanadas - they were so crispy and the meat on the inside was so flavorful. For the main course, I got their signature omelette which was filled with onion, peppers, cheese, avocado, and Columbian sausage - and wow, I could eat that for breakfast everyday. The French toast was also immaculate with the perfect amount of bananas, strawberries and whipped cream on top. Their chicken wraps were also delicious, with a side of French fries and coleslaw. The restaurant we originally planned to go to was closed for "summer break", so we Yelped another spot and found Jerri's. Boy am glad that happened...Jerry's is freakin bomb.com!! I don't get to experience Columbian food much...or ever. So when I saw their menu, my eyes lite up! I was delightfully excited to order, because I knew that whatever I ordered was going to be good! Our table ordered the 2.2.2.2., Bandeja Paisa, and Huevos Pericos (substituted the fries for rice and beans). Everything was delicious! The rice and beans had subtle, but enough flavor that complemented my eggs and potatoes. The pork belly was crispy, fatty, gooooood and unhealthy lol. Plantains were also a nice touch to the dish! I forgot to ask my boyfriend about the steak. Too busy enjoying everything else. The arepa was ok. I'm not a big fan of anything flat made with cornmeal (like corn tortillas) mainly because they're too dry for me to eat (medical reasons). Yet right next door is Jerri's Luncheonette (fyi, serves far more than lunch!!). The place was clean, pretty packed and stayed that way for our time there. I had a very bad experience here, unlike the rest of my visits, my kids ordered chocolate chip pancakes and unfortunately there were no chocolate chips in our chocolate chip pancakes and the pancakes were burned .Our server then asked if she can put chocolate chips on the side.There was also supposed to be bacon on the side of our order but they did not plate it, we asked for the bacon once again and when it came out it was raw. The chicharrón was not crunchy and overall bad. On top of the issues mentioned and not mentioned of how bad burnt/uncooked our food was the server was by all means unpleasant. My mom was having a health issue and I had to call 911. In the middle of handling this the owners wife was more concerned with getting the check paid. They are both very delicious - portion is very large. Can easily share between two people. Because it even comes with an arepa and can add cheese on that. If you're not sure which one you want between the two... think, do you want just steak (calentado) or steak + crispy pork belly (bandeja paisa). Most accommodating welcoming kind restaurant I've ever been to. I was stranded with only one dollar and a dead phone so I stopped here to ask if I could change my phone. The waitress was beyond nice to me. I offered to give her the money I had left because as a food service worker I know how irritating it can be for someone to just sit in your restaurant. She refused the money anyway and got me water and said to take my time. I will definitely come back for food and leave a tip. 5 stars all around for this place read more
