I've been using the Walgreens in Placentia as my primary pharmacy for the past eight years…read more The most convenient thing about this location is that they have a drive-through window for picking up prescriptions. There is rarely more than a car or two in line, if any. The pharmacy staff has always been friendly and efficient both at the drive-through window and inside. On a few occasions when I needed a prescription urgently, they were always happy to expedite it and have it ready within an hour or two. A few times when my doctor's office was slow to send more refills, they gave me a five day emergency supply so I wouldn't be without a medication. I switched health insurance plans this year and Walgreens is no longer in-network, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future.

The pharmacist does not listen and always tries to fill prescriptions I do not ask to be filled or out of order. She also calls for unknown reasons without leaving a message, and then acts dumb when I call her back when she didn't leave a message with any context to begin with. Additionally, there have been times where I had to wait for her for more than an hour (outside of their lunch window) because she took an extended break/lunch before I could even pick up my medication. The pharmacy techs (other than the Asian guy, he is really nice and knowledgeable) are rude AF. It's like they have hearing problems (both at the drive through and inside window) and are always telling me to speak up to the point where I'm shouting my personal information for other people to hear. I pick up at a different Walgreens on the other side of Fullerton now (it's worth it, the pharmacist there is so kind and caring and actually listens) as well as CVS down the street where normal human interactions are far superior.

There are so many things amazing about Thread A Brow, that I am not sure where to begin. I will start of by saying, if anyone reading this review can't seem to understand why everyone raves about them, you obviously haven't been here. I have been coming here for a while and have been telling all my friends, family, just about anyone and everyone. So, why finally review them now? First of all my car wash really made me upset over the weekend (but more about them later). I was headed out of town and I was super busy at work that I didn't get a chance to make an appointment for Brazilian. Thinking I would just make it on time, I rush to get there and got there few minutes after 7 PM, which is past their closing time. Usually, most businesses, turn you away, but not Mina. She is such a sweetie, not only she takes me in, but she had a smile on her face. I was so embarrassed for coming in late yet she made me feel so comfortable, I love it. Every time I have been here, she has been so friendly and warm that at some point I knew that this was my threading and waxing salon for life. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded and body waxed for years. What makes them different is, if I go in to get my eyebrows threaded, they always ask how would I like my eyebrows threaded. For Brazilian, each time I go in, they make me feel so comfortable and remind me that if it ever gets painful, or you would want me to stop, please do not hesitate I won't feel bad. They are so precise and detail oriented and I love their waxing technique, very painless. (Not to mention the mini head massage you get at the end after you are done getting your eyebrows threaded.) Now if I could only get my old car wash to come here and learn from them on how to treat their customers and what customer service really means. Customer service is really Thread A Brow's mantra and they go above and beyond (like staying beyond their closing time and that too with a smile, are you kidding me who does that). Brea's go to threading shop is definitely thread a brow! The shop is right off of the State College and imperial intersection. You can't miss the cute lime green sign. The atmosphere is open, fresh and clean with modern decor. I have been to many threading salons and this one is by far the most professional in regards to atmosphere and service. Mina did an excellent job threading my brows. Mina genuinely cares for all her customers. She is very attentive and a perfectionist! They also do waxing. They are also going to be doing facials soon. Thread a brow is totally worth the drive! I live in the Montebello area and I've tried many threading salons that did not meet the standards I wanted, both in Montebello and Brea. I was told what I wanted could not be done so eventually I stopped going to them. For eight bucks my eyebrows look better than ever! I'm so happy I found her! Mina is an expert at eyebrow threading. I had seen this place on the way to the brea mall. I looked up the yelp ratings and they were all 5 stars, so I knew I had to try it. I went to the salon and mina instantly remembered me from another salon (which I always requested her to do my brows). After looking at her I remembered her! Twice, she is trying to grab my wrist to pull my arm around and I had to pull my hand away and ask her not to touch me like that and I can move my arm myself where she needs me to have it. My nails thankfully were fixed but the manager is rude and does not care. Management needs to improve on hospitality, customer service, and overall communication. I'd highly recommend letting them know it's your first time here as they usually will give you the mirror after doing one eyebrow to make sure it's to your liking! Sujita is my favorite and she does it quickly and without much pain. She's the lady in the first chair and usually people there are also waiting for her but the other two ladies here are also quite helpful and kind, they just move a little slower. Even though I'm balling on a budget now, Sujita still remembers me and it's always so fun to catch up even if my appointments are two months apart LOL

Shilpa (owner of the salon) is such an amazing threading artist. I have always thought the skin…read morearound my eyebrows were thinner and sensitive than most due to receiving cuts and literally crying my eyes out every time I have to get them threaded at other salons; but Shilpa's ability to not make me wince once is already a reason enough to go back. She really tries to understand what shape you're going for and explains why she does or does not do something. Overall, the salon was clean, well-conditioned, and most importantly, affordable. The total before tip was $10.50.
