Have been a handful of times now, for brows and this last time for lip threading also (miserable, but sooo worth it). Clean and neat little shop with a decent amount of seats in the waiting area and three threading stations. There's a waxing room (I assume) to the side but I've never been. Never have had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. It's been a good experience every time, except once when I asked for a clean up and she made them thinner than I wanted. The shape was still nice but I can't afford to have them thinner than they are, they don't grow back easily and they are a little sparse in places. I'll be back but I'll put emphasis on "just clean them up". Here's a helpful tip I was given at my last visit! When having your upper lip threaded they have you put your tongue under each side and make the skin tighter as they work. I'm a wimp and the pain makes me lose focus on keeping my tongue in place, causing a red mark where the thread caught the skin that wasn't kept tight (my fault completely). The lady told me to just turn my mouth to one side and it's the same thing! Brilliant. I'm no longer having to practice my lip threading tongue placement (seriously! Lol). read more

I was referred to this place by a regular customer. It was my first time here and only my second time getting waxed. I got half of my leg waxed, and it was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout it and we were having a nice conversation the entire time. Plus, she didn't try to sell me anything. This place is my go-to place whenever I need to get my legs waxed or get my eyebrows threaded. Sujita does a lovely job waxing my legs. She is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She also always ask if the wax temperature is perfect and she always check if I'm doing okay every couple mins. After I get my legs waxed I would also get my eyebrows done and Sujita would do them for me as well. She always ask how I would like my eyebrows and I just tell her I want a "clean up". I would recommend this place if you ever need to get your body parts waxed. Sujita would make you feel welcome and comfortable. Finally I got the brows that I've been trying to get at 2 other very pricey places I've tried recently...and for a fraction of the cost! I tried EWC and Benefit Brow Bar, both within the past 2 months, but each place left my brows unshapely and looking like I still needed to have my eyebrows done. These were both done by girls recommended by a bunch of people on Yelp. Both places gave the excuse that I needed to wait for them to grow out more and blah blah blah, then took my $25. The girls here are awesome. The girl who threaded my brows actually took the time to ask what my goals were for my brows. I told her that at this point I just wanted them clean and to have some shape. I was skeptical about whether or not I could get that clean look that I was looking for from threading, but I was pleasantly surprised when they finished. My brows still looked full (like the other places said they wouldn't if they removed the stray hairs) and perfectly shaped. I literally had no strays to tweeze when I got home. I have had my brows done here 5 different times. Mina does an excellent job of shaping my tricky eye brows! One of my brows is slightly more rounded while the other is straight which gives an appearance of them being uneven. Mina always knows just how to thread them so that filling them in with makeup later is a much easier task! She is probably the only person I would recommend you to try. When the other two women that work there have done my brows they tend to come out uneven which then makes my brows look even waaaaay more disproportionate to each other and I always end up wishing I had requested Mina. read more

Have to say I definitely recommend this place!!! I've had my issues with eyebrow threading just like many others. Have gone to so many places where they either made them too thin or they just weren't consistent. I got so tired of being annoyed every time I got my my eyebrows done that I actually stopped doing it for months! When I was ready to come back I tried a new place I heard about which very good but the only problem was I had to drive all the way to Beverly Hills which was okay but definitely too far to go often. A couple of months ago I decided to give my area another try and found Thread A Brow with so many awesome reviews that I had to give it a try. The location is great, the salon is nicely decorated and clean and parking is not too bad. I usually try to park on the street across from the park. About the service, Mina is awesome, very nice person and definitely a pleasure to talk to. With every conversation it seems like she really cares and a big plus is that she doesn't thread my brows too thin. I love my eyebrows every time I go and I have not been annoyed once with her threading. Oh and that forehead massage she gives at the end is awesome! I literally live 5 minutes away from Thread A Brow but didn't check it out until about a month ago. Biggest mistake ever. Mina is super amazing and friendly with extreme attention to detail. She shaped my brows perfectly and recommended ways to help them grow out, since one brow is slightly thinner than the other. She also did my upper lip quickly and with minimal pain. Very thorough. After the threading, she applied non-alcoholic toner to my upper lip and brows and gave my temples a mini massage! Super nice. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and I have tried multiple places, I don't trust any other place to touch my eyebrows. I have been coming here for about a couple of years and I have to say this is my favorite place. I have very thick eyebrow hairs and my eyebrows are thick in size as well and these ladies know how to get the look you want! I am beyond impressed, I got my eyebrows threaded on 6/25/16 and I couldn't be happier! I've been to so many other threading places and they don't put the attention to detail like the woman who attended me did. I am sorry I didn't get her name :( . One of my eyebrows was thinner than the other and she cared enough to give me her honest opinion and I couldn't be more happier! I love it here! I've had my eyebrows done here more than 10 times and every time they look great. It's always very clean and the women that work here and friendly and professional. It does hurt a little bit but it's really not too bad. It helps at the end when they put some cream and massage around the eyebrow area. I've also never had too much redness because they're careful and not rough. You should definitely try it out! read more

Let me first say that Mina is great at what she does. HOWEVER, I am not able to find her at her shop when I call in to check to see if she is available and unfortunately the women she has on staff, from my experience, are horrible at their jobs. I have tried time and time again to find a day and time when she will be at available but to no avail. I called in 11:13 am today, spoke with a woman on the phone, the conversation is as follows: "Hi! Is Mina in today?" "No, she's not." "Okay, do you know when she'll be in?" "No." "She's the owner and you have no idea when she'll be in?" "No, maybe next week?" "Okay thank you!" I'm sorry, but if it's your business and your workers have no idea when you're coming in or maybe offer to take an appt? Come on. That's no way to run a business. I'm all for small business and I really tried to hold off on writing this review since I really love the way she does my eyebrows but when you're the only one from your staff that knows what they're doing, I can't hold off from doing my eyebrows just because I'm not able to find you and give you my hard earned money. I'm really disappointed that I have to write this review. When it first opened, Thread a Brow had been my go-to eyebrow threading place. It was the creme de la creme. I had never been to such an incredible threading spot. Only the best eyebrow threaders were hired, and now the employees that are working there are just awful. The skinny girl is gone (thank goodness, she was a nightmare) but she was replaced by someone just as bad. I went today and only an old woman was there (I only trust Mina and Bijal, I should've walked away then) but I had faith that Mina hired another fantastic woman. I was so incredibly wrong. She was extremely slow, so the hairs were plucked out slow and it irritated my skin and hurt WAY more. She insisted on asking me questions but then telling me to be quiet and not move? She told me that Bijal hasn't been working there for 8 months (is this true or am I just crazy?). And then she charged me a much higher amount than I was supposed to be charged!!! (I had bought a facial package for a decent amount of money and was promised a discount on every eyebrow threading I got for one year, it hasn't been a year yet!). And now that I'm home and looking at my eyebrows and upper lip, I see that SO MANY HAIRS WERE MISSED!!! I have to tweeze them out myself! REALLY??? I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. Bijal, had to reconstruct my eyebrows lol. She was very informative and patient with me.
