I recently purchased a twin size mattress and box spring from Lindee and l couldn't be happier with my experience! Lindee is super friendly and patient and she understands exactly what we need. She also offered a very competitive price for a floor model that's still in top condition. Luckily both the mattress and the box spring fit in our SUV so we didn't end up paying for shipping but Lindee helped us loading them in the car and make sure they are all wrapped up. I'm super happy that I just happened to pass by them and give them a shot. This will definitely be my future to go place for mattresses! read more

Been shopping for a mattress for a month. Randomly found this place thinking it was something else, walked in and met a fantastic salesman with a fantastic product. I love my new mattress! Love love love it. Just go here and see what they offer. I would highly recommend this amazing mattress store , I wish I would leave a review earlier 2 years ago that I got my first mattress from Lindee so would be more helpful for new customers, the quality of their mattress is so great with unbelievably reasonable prices , I got 3 mattress from her since 2 years ago for my son , my mom and I and how helpful she is. She does go above and beyond. She has always helped me to load the mattress on my SUV and super friendly and honest. Thank you read more

Very happy with my purchase and experience at Thousand Oaks Mattress. I walked in with my 3 year old to get her a "big girl" full-sized bed. Lindee helped us out, was patient as my toddler and I tested out the beds and explained everything we'd need to convert the convertible toddler bed into the full-size bed. The mattress itself is a good quality and super comfy. My 3 year old slept soundly through the night and I found it difficult to leave the bed once my baby was asleep. I've already recommended this store to friends! read more

Fantastic experience! I had a small window of opportunity to replace an ancient mattress at a friend's house where I stay every couple of months. I was there for the weekend of the 4th and stopped in to see what kind of selection they had in stock. Lindee and Mack are knowledgeable and genuinely care about getting the product that suits you. I was in and out in under a half an hour and I was even able to have the mattress delivered the same day! How is that for great service? The gentleman who did the delivery was quick and friendly. I highly recommend Thousand Oaks Mattress. There is a reason they have 5 stars on Yelp. Well-deserved rating! Shop with confidence. You won't be disappointed. read more

Lindee knows her stuff--getting a mattress that fit both my needs as well as my wife's was no small task, but Lindee had a wide enough variety of products that felt like good fits for us, it was like we had our pick of the litter with multiple options. When our new mattress first arrived there was a defect, and I was expecting to get some pushback when I called Lindee, but no--she apologized (even though it wasn't her fault or anything, it was a manufacturer's defect), ordered us a new one immediately, and got in touch with the manufacturer. And our replacement was, and has remained a few months later, perfect. read more

My husband and I absolutely love our new mattresses from "Thousand Oaks Mattress"! The proprietor, Lindee Galeano, is a true professional in every type of mattresses you need. We purchased one for our main home and one for our RV. We both sleep so soundly and comfortably! Thank you, Lindee, for your advice knowing what we needed! read more

Price bait 'n' switch! I called a week in advanced and asked for a twin-sized mattress for my elderly father and was quoted $160 over the phone. Good price! A week later both of us went there to look at it and have him try the $160 mattress out, but were shocked when we were told, after my father tested the mattress, that it had (surprise! surprise!) just had a PRICE INCREASE! My, wasn't THAT convenient! It was no longer $160, but now $185!! I asked about the price we were quoted over the phone and the sales lady said she couldn't do anything about that! Really!!?? We left there and went to Simi Valley Mattress, were our quoted phone price the previous week was not only HONORED, but we got a discount because of my father's advanced age! We bought out mattress there, needless to say! read more

I was finally ready to replace my bed and and wanted to keep my business local. I went to several stores and ended up at TO Mattress. Don't be dissuaded by the initial store front, it's pretty basic, the store is small and a bit crowded, but your here to buy a bed, not to move in, so get over it! I was immediately greeted by Joseph, a young friendly salesperson. Well, he gave me an education in beds, and being a salesperson myself I really like people that know their product and know it he did. I'm sure he's told the stories he told me a hundred times, but it was as if he was telling it for the first time. I was there a while, he took time to show me several beds, and I ended up picking a great bed that I've been happy with to this day. A short while later I needed another bed to complete a guest room I was renovating. Again, I met with Joseph and he took care of me perfectly. If per chance Joseph isn't there for whatever reason, rest assured the owner of the store, Lindee, will be there to give you excellent service too. This is just a great store, serving local customers, and oh yes, selling beds not only made in the USA, but in So CAL! read more

My wife and I came here based solely on the yelp reviews and our desire to support a local business. It was time for us to replace and upgrade everyone's mattresses (five in total). We live in Westlake and they are conveniently located on TO boulevard. I work during the week, so Saturday was our best day to do this. We arrived at 11AM, ready to go, with each member of the family. To our surprise, the lights were off, door was locked, and nobody picked up the phone when we called. We were extremely disappointed, given their posted store hours have them opening at 10AM. I may be accused of pettiness here, but if your supposed to be open, have employees responsible enough to open on time. This is Business 101! We ended up going to another place down the street. So sad that they aren't really into their customers. read more

I had such an amazing experience purchasing a mattress from this place, I wanted to share. I am disabled due to a permanent back injury. Life finally afforded me the opportunity to invest in a good bed and I got it from Thousand Oaks Mattress. Lindee helped me and it couldn't have been a more pleasant transaction. She asked questions about how I sleep, my back condition, etc so she could make a recommendation that would be right for me. She's a good sales woman! I was absolutely spellbound by her comforting conversation while she allowed me to lay down and rest on the mattress for as long as I wanted. I even said I was ready to buy and she encouraged me to take a few more minutes, so I could be sure. Then she upsold me on a mattress pad and protector. What she said made sense. This is not a cheap investment, so do what you need to take care of it. Now that I have the mattress and have been sleeping on it for a while, I can say it was worth every penny. Pain isn't waking me up at the crack of dawn like an alarm clock as it has been the last 6 years. I don't notice it until I get up and move around. I purchased the Maybach 744 Series Hybrid and I love it! Go see Lindee and let her help find you the right mattress and bed for you! read more

For the last few years, I've been working on cultivating a more holistic lifestyle, and that includes upgrading one incredibly important aspect of our lives: sleep. We spend an average of 1/3 of our lives horizontal, so choosing that thing we rest on every night is much like choosing what kind of food we put into our body. After learning about the importance of sleeping on a firm mattress, I purchased a Cynthia mattress from her about 2 years ago: firm, with natural latex and an organic bamboo topper. Every day I wake up feeling like I've slumbered in the lap of luxury. :-) What I also love about Lindee is that she understands the importance of sleep on a level I don't believe most mattress business owners do. From the loads of options of soft and firm mattresses to the top quality pillows and sheets in stock, she not only offers some of the best sleep products available (at reasonable prices), but if you spend some time talking to her, you will also find she has deep knowledge of wellness and the sleep cycles. Circadian rhythm, ketogenic diet, and holistic lifestyle are just some of the things that we've riffed on during my numerous visits to her shop. Rest assured, if you're in the market for a new mattress, it's definitely worth a visit to Thousand Oaks Mattress (pun most certainly intended)! read more

Can I give this place 10 stars?? Seriously-- I wish I could! I have never been so impressed with a furniture (mattress) store! Lindee was extremely knowledgeable, and extremely nice! If you're anywhere near the Thousand Oaks area-- look no further for mattresses... THIS IS YOUR PLACE! We will be needing a guest bedroom mattress soon, and we know where we will find it in the next few months! The price is right, and you leave feeling like you've made a great decision! 10 stars, seriously!! read more

Great service. Great mattresses at good prices. Oh, and did. I mention great customer service!

In the past 15 years, we've bought 3 mattresses from here. Their longevity tells you they are doing something right. A good mattress is not cheap. But along with lasting comfort, I also want it to remain silent, with no squeaks or creaks when in bed. Our latest purchase was another good experience. Delivery, setup, and old bed removal was included. For 100% peace of mind, I recommend the warranty and protector. read more
