We couldn't be happier with our backyard transformation, thanks to Ron and Thomas Pools! From the very first meeting, Ron impressed us with his deep knowledge, warm demeanor, and genuine excitement for our project. He listened closely to our ideas, offered expert suggestions, and treated our backyard like it was his own. Ron is incredibly detailed--he anticipated issues before they arose, communicated clearly throughout every phase, and made sure we were informed and confident at every step. The final result blew us away. Our backyard is now a beautiful oasis, complete with thoughtful design touches and top-tier craftsmanship. Friends and neighbors have already commented on how stunning it looks--and we owe it all to Ron and the fantastic crew at Thomas Pools. What really sets Ron apart, though, is his kindness. He treated us with the respect and care of a close friend. He always made time for us, responded promptly to any questions or concerns, and genuinely wanted us to love the outcome. We can't recommend Thomas Pools--and especially Ron--highly enough. If you're dreaming of a backyard remodel, you'll want Ron on your team. Honestly, he's not just our pool guy anymore... Ron has become part of our family. Thank you, Ron and Thomas Pools.

Complete pool / backyard... 5 stars

Thomas Pools have left a great impression on this present and future customer. Very professional staff and friendly to boot! I got the very best price for my pool needs at the undisputed lower price in the valley! First impression is the only impression. Thanks again crew.

This review is long over due! About 18 months ago we had the pleasure of working with Thomas Pools on building my dream backyard oasis, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free thanks to our amazing project manager, Ron. Ron was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had, and he went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. His attention to detail and passion for his work truly shined through in the final result. Eric, at the office, has also been great to work with, in helping us with minor up-keep when we need it even long after the pool has been done. The quality of workmanship from Thomas Pools was exceptional, and we are beyond thrilled with our new pool and outdoor living space. The entire team was professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire project. If you are considering building a pool, look no further than Thomas Pools and request Ron as your project manager & Eric for all your other additional needs. You will not be disappointed! Five stars all around. Thank you, Thomas Pools and Ron, for making our backyard dreams a reality!

This is insanely overdue. What began as a simple project we elaborated and constructed an amazing backyard from a disaster. Working with multiple designers, I reached to Thomas pools and was coordinated with Ron Osborn. I can't thank Ron and his team for a quick, seamless transformation. From planning, to quick start and efficiency thru the whole process, we became friends. They made some near imPossible possible. They stayed within budget and came thru with every aspect. I cannot recommend enough. Call them first and don't need any others. Thank you Ron and Thomas and entire team !! Kudos. You guys rock and are the best by far. My family thanks you and I thank you. This guy is a real piece of work. Honestly just rude, horrible customer service. There are so many other options to go with. I wouldn't trust him with building a pool. Even the front of the store screams rude.

Where do I begin? We had a limited space to install a pool. The first company we contacted was unimpressive - very generalized design plan, and there were hidden costs (e.g., they said the pool equipment would be a separate cost and would not commit to a fixed amount). No thank you - that is a stupid way to conduct business in my opinion! Then we met with Ron from Thomas Pools. Within a matter of minutes of my wife and I talking with him, and hearing his ideas for our pool and spa, we knew that this was the company for us!! He kept enhancing the design, providing meaningful and well-reasoned suggestions most all of which we incorporated into the final project. We especially appreciated his concern for easy access for my wife who had dual hip replacement. The contract was very detailed and specific as to exactly what we were getting and the cost for those features. The pool excavation began about a month after we signed the contract (while we waited for the final set of plans, permit to be issued by Santa Clarita, and the HOA to give its blessing). The baby bobcat began excavation on April 3rd, and the pool was done and filled with water 4 months and one week later (almost exactly what Ron had estimated). It would have been done earlier, but our fence contractor (Art and Iron in Simi Valley - who did a fantastic job as well) was in a motorcycle accident and that delayed his part of the project. Every sub-contractor that took part in this process was very professional, personable, and most importantly - took pride in their work. Ron was here multiple times to oversee what was going on to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. For example, on the day the gunite was poured, he was here three (3) separate times that day just to check on the work! We did make some changes (such as upgrading the tile, adding more pavers and ledger stone, and some additional plumbing and electrical to enhance the final product), so we came in about 20% over our initial contract price, but it was worth it. Everyone we have had over to see the pool with its beautiful lighting, fire bowls, waterfalls, etc has expressed how much they love it!!! Of critical importance, with Ron's design of the stairs, my wife is able to get in and out of the pool with ease!!! If we were going to have another pool installed at another property, absolutely, we would have Ron from Thomas Pools handle the project. My wife and I could not recommend this company - and specifically, Ron Osborn - more highly.

Almost 3 years ago we began looking at putting in a pool. One of the bids we got was from Thomas Pools. We put the project on hold, and were finally ready to pull the trigger this summer. We contacted Thomas Pools again and were pleased to see the same salesman/project manager Ronnie who had come out 3 years prior. Since they were competitive with other companies, and local, we gave them the job. They broke ground in June. We were very happy with all the subcontractors. With any large construction project, there were hiccups and setbacks along the way but they always made it right. In one instance I was particularly critical of the spillway tile, and without question it was all re-done to our liking. Long story short, we are finally in the pool and so far very pleased with the result.

When we were looking for a pool contractor it felt overwhelming to say the least. We met a couple then we met with Ron from Thomas Pools. We could tell right away that we wanted Ronnie as our project manager. He surpassed our expectations and we definitely recommend him for your next pool project.

Thomas Pools is awesome! Tom and his entire team helped make our "dream pool" a reality! The entire team at each and every step of the process, from the initial dig, through the gunite, to the coping, tile, and finally the plaster finish were all nothing less than professional throughout! What an amazing team. Pool Party... Contact Thomas Pools! The "Dream Makers!"

Thomas Pools are awesome and we can't praise them enough. We had a slope in our back yard and knew this would be a challenge to build a pool and spa. Ron really came through for us, he is an incredible designer and had our vision. You hear of nightmares when building a pool but Ron was there every step of the way, in fact we miss seeing him now everything is finished lol. Construction is never pleasant but the crews they contract with made this process very pleasant, and we were excited every day to watch this small sloped back yard transform into our own little oasis. Ron and Tom are the best, and we can't say enough good things. Thank you both for making our dreams come true.

Ronnie, Tom & Rose have been so helpful during our pool build. We are getting closer to the finish line and will update my review with all photos (super exciting)!! Ron came out to quote us in August 2020, and we wanted to start right away; however, we had some other life demands in front of us and paused the project. We called Ron back out in May 2021 and put the project right back on track. City permits approved and our build began mid-June. Things moved quick!! Every contractor they have from electricians, tile, the dig, pool maintenance, etc. have been wonderful! I'm so excited to have our dream backyard - our own oasis! Our project took 10 weeks from the day the bob cat was delivered until completion - just in time for the next heat wave!

a pool with a view of the mountains

Thomas Pools finished our dream pool about 2 weeks ago. After hearing all the horror stories about pool contractors doing a terrible job, go off schedule or even walk away from the job without finishing, we are so pleased to share that THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH THOMAS POOLS! Ron, the Project Manager exceeded our expectations! The pool came out spectacular, on budget, and on schedule! Ron was very creative and thoughtful in the pool design! He was here a few times a week to check in on us, his contractors and the progress. He is just fantastic and really experienced. He knows what he is doing! He accommodated smaller changes we decided on during the process without additional cost. The contractors Thomas Pools use are ALL outstanding! Thank you Thomas Pools, Thank you Ron, for creating our dream pool and giving us the piece of mind all the way until the finish line!

Purchased our spa from this company…read more Purchase went smooth. Until they got our money. Once you get your spa delivered. You'll never hear from them again. Every time I call for help or service. The female that answers gives attitude and isn't helpful. She acts like you're interrupting her morning. Then says she'll call you right back then never does. Keep in mind. Even though your spa is under warranty. They charge a service fee of $200 to $300 to come out to your house and diagnose the warranty repair. So you're still out of pocket for warranty work. Would not recommend this company for anything. Shop where you'll get better service and a place that cares for its customers.

Aside from the fact that several…read moreemployees are borderline rude right from the start and act as though you are interfering with them watching their favorite TV show (read: annoyed that you ask questions), we extensively told everyone we spoke to there that we intended to place our hot tub at 105-106, before we purchased anything. No one told us this was not possible, and instead pumped us up that is was not an issue (it is in fact a Very Big Issue!). After installing the tub, we found out that the tub absolutely would not go above 104. This was not a small point for us and a very big part of our purchase decision, so for them to tell us "Sure! No Problem" again and again before the purchase was in fact a pile of Lies. When I later called them after the hot tub was installed to ask "how do we get it up to 105-106?" we were given a long list of absolute nonsense instructions that included - I kid you not - "Open up the circuitry and snip a certain wire - oh its easy - I just read about it - remove / install a certain resistor on your own (soldering??) - you can find directions on Reddit"... etc etc etc. All Lies, and most of these lies came from the owner Micah, who changed his story every time we spoke including "well I fully informed you that it could not be done (absolute BS - never happened)" and "well its a law in California to stop it at 104" - also 100% BS - there is No Such Law. I finally gave up and called other hot tub retailers to find out that due to manufacturers wanting the "UL" stamp on their products, they set it to 104 mainly due to hot tub installations in hotels and such where there is no way to know who is using it. One company - All American in Santa Clarita and SFV - sent a far more intelligent hot tub technician to our home where we discovered through his research and my own that the machinery inside the Artesian Spa was literally and permanently set to stop at 104, meaning 100% of the BS instructions from Micah etc were Never Going To Work even if I had been stupid enough to listen to his insane directions and - again no joke - start soldering resistors inside the machinery (No Effing Way I was ever going to do that). I had to call the machinery manufacturer to finally speak with someone who explained that the Artesian unit I bought from White Swan could only have the internal parts upgraded / swapped out (at additional expense of nearly $1000) to allow it to go past 104. I passed that info along to All American who promptly ordered me the parts and installed it. FYI, All American has a service fee of $125, as opposed to the White Swan service fee of $300 (big time rip off). This is all in addition to the original install including the White Swan tech leaving valves open so water was gushing inside the machinery upon first fill up. White Swan wanted to charge me $300 for them to "take a look" but I said F-No! and made it clear that this F-up was on them and they would fix it free. They capitulated and sent someone to close the valves that should have been closed on set up (we did not know about the valves). Their "Frog System" is also an expensive joke, with parts needing to be replaced often at a very high cost, and which you can only buy from their shop. It is no better than any other system, has more parts, has huge waste produced by these plastic capsules you constantly have to change, etc etc etc. Long story short I would never, ever recommend anyone ever buy anything from White Swan. We no longer even contact White Swan for hot tub issues and just go to the vastly more honest All American for all service matters who gets the job done fast and affordably. As I said in the start: Avoid White Swan completely.
