The other house was so green it started to grow mosquito larvae. There was so many swimming in the pool. He messages me to please send him money for June? Are you kidding me? My pool is green with wrigglers swimming in it and the other pool is damage.... why would I pay you for services that he didn't provide to keep my pool clean? He took out our filter and broke it. He bullshitted that its old and needed to be replaced. (We just bought all new filters a few months back) He never came back to reinstall them. Left it there dirty pulled apart drying in the sun so it could get even more damaged. Meanwhile the pool is not filtering and turning green with wrigglers all over the pool. It was so disgusting. I'm so upset that he had the nerves to tell me, " you don't have to pay for the other house.... just pay me for the other house." He promised to come by the next day and never did. Then he said," I'll come by Sunday" and never did... In the beginning he told us every Tuesday. Then that changed to Saturday without our knowledge then one day it changed to Sunday again without telling us. Yet we were very nice and never had an issue if he came another day.... then he started doing the not show up for weeks, leaving the pool green and nasty blaming it on the filter. Charging for filter cleaning. Dude show up to work and work! He skips both houses for weeksssss. How do you expect me to pay you for June when both pool looks like shit the last 2 months? You get paid when you do your job and show up. Check your camera guys. I'm warning you... he doesn't not show up weekly sometime longer. If he does show up he takes 5 minutes SKIMMING THE POOL and takes off.

Considering that fixing the leak was the reason I hired him in the first place, I found that price ridiculous. I gave Sam an opportunity to make the situation right; he declined. His defensive response to my concerns only reinforced my impression that he was more interested in the money and defending himself than resolving the problem for his customer. The difference with the new company I hired has been night and day. They were far more professional and actually fixed the leak for a fraction of what Sam quoted me. They also seemed genuinely interested in solving the problem rather than simply running up the bill. I rarely post reviews, but I felt this experience deserved an honest one. Based on my experience, I would not use Sam's services again. Consumer beware.

After getting many estimates from pool plastering companies, I put my trust in MTZ and I am so happy of my decision. Andres and Hector and their team did an amazing job. They did the full remodel in just 3 days. They were very clean and organized when working. Never in the process did Hector try to sell me on something I did not need, which had been the case with other vendors I spoke to. Most companies had advised me use the pricey hydro blast method to remove the existing plaster. However, MTZ did not see the need for it in my specific situation and they removed 2 layers of plaster as well as old tiles with a jackhammer. I first spoke with Misty on the phone and told her the issue I was having with my Jacuzzi J-460 (which had been pre-diagnosed by my electrician), and she was quite lovely in describing the cost of repair. It was a failed heater pump. I also needed a drain and clean since it had been some time that I had used it due to the heater pump issue. Her quoted price was fair and was NOT elevated after the service was performed, as some companies tent to do. Justin came, on time and was scheduled, replaced the faulty part and completed a very thorough drain and clean. The unit looked like new afterwards. I am very happy that I chose Spa Pros. I recommend them and I will schedule them again to care of my Jacuzzi!
