There were a few delays but nothing that wasn't unexpected or understandable especially building a pool during Covid. The project it self turned out fantastic! They will always let you know if they need to change the day or time and I never need to worry about my pool maintenance at all. In addition to the previous issues, we also have a broken auto fill (installed broken, never worked) stained plaster( from careless mistakes) Jason states he would "put on his scuba gear" and clean it, never did! Broken tiles and grout, deco seal that is separating from improper placement. The list doesn't end. Jason is MIA. He has not once stopped at our house to take a look and try to offer a resolution. I also have a full report from an independent inspector and geological engineer proving these issues were all Jason's error. We have had multiple contractors at our home to get estimates, unfortunately they are refusing to touch his work due to liability. I have multiple reports stating every error made during the build. Neighbor is having a pool put in and one of their trucks they contracted pulled all the way into my driveway causing horrible tire marks an dripped oil as well. They made a pathetic attempt to take care of it! Not to mention they tell you something and don't hold up to their part of the bargain. Finally I had to power wash the driveway myself and I now have permanent marks from where the oil leaked. I sent a very reasonable bill in which they sent back to sender! read more

They saved my summer! I had a problem (spa jet not working) that a number of plumbers/pool service could not fix. Apparently it was a very complicated job- Not to mention estimated at $1000s of dollars to repair. I seriously considered just doing away with the spa and pool. Awesome job! We had our pool redone and hired another contractor to replaster our pool and they work with Jason at Poseidon Pools for the coping. We used to have red brick and wanted it replaced. Once referred to Jason, he came and told me about pour in place coping. Since we've had our pool for over 20 years we had never heard of it. After some long discussions, we went with the pour in place and the pool turned out AWESOME! I can't say enough at all the help Jason gave and suggestions! I put down a deposit with Jason to have a pool built back in April. I was told the work would start in a week. It's been almost 2 months and I haven't seen Jason since I gave him my deposit. And whenever I inquired about the delay,I have been given every excuse in the book. So after waiting so long,I decided to have the contract terminated. Jason told me I would have to give him an additional $1500 to terminate the contract because of money he claimed he spend on permits. So I paid the money simply to terminate the contract a week ago, and Jason is still giving excuses and the runaround about termination the contract. So this experience with Jason and Poseidon Pools has been a great big time wasting rip off experience for me and I do not appreciate being scammed out of my money. read more

Getting a new pool is not for the faint of heart but we are so happy we did and glad we chose Poseidon. The owner Jason worked with us and patiently helped us along with each step in the process. He gets busy at times but always got back to us. Be prepared for your yard to get torn up pretty good as the bobcat makes it's way back and forth, especially if it gets rainy. We decided to start our pool project in November and knew that the weather would cause delays but it was worth it because now we're ready to go for this summer. I couldn't be happier with the final product, it's just what we wanted. I can control the pool and lights with my phone! I can turn the spa on while we're at dinner and it's ready to go by the time we get home. The color changing led lights puts it way over the top, everyone that comes over and sees it at night loves it. We feel like rock stars! We spend a lot more time in the backyard and I'm getting my two daughters off their computers and hanging out with us in the pool, which was one of my goals in doing this. When we decided to look into pools, we ended up interviewing 7 companies out here is SCV, Jason was the only one who followed up and listened to our vision and needs. Getting a pool is a huge investment of time and money and my wife and I were so impressed with Jason's knowledge and ability to get what we wanted. He even came over and took our hose and created a design, then went to his truck and with a spray can on our grass, showed us an even better idea. Our pool is done and we couldn't be happier with his awesome crew that were always on time, did an amazing job cleaning up and constantly checking in to make sure we were happy with the progress. Jason was very hands on, he was at our house almost everyday checking on the progress and telling us what is happening next.
