I have had two great experiences at Thomas Cleaners and Tailors. I had my wedding dress and my husband's suit dry cleaned before and after our wedding. Both looked great and I found it very affordable. I also took in a dress with a small hole and they did an amazing job repairing it. I had a hard time even finding where the hole was when I picked it up! The staff is super nice and the service was quick and easy. I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, but in an effort to save the next persons dress...here you go. This beautiful dress was brand new and was the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen and I felt so beautiful and happy in it and just needed a TINY clasp added to keep my chest in. The fabric was in perfect brand new condition. I dropped it off at Thomas cleaners at 9 am with the promise that it would be done by 3 pm. I called at 3 and it was still not done. I was given an estimate of another 45 mins, so I agreed and came around 4:10 to pick it up. The owner had added press clips instead of the tiny hook I asked for. And they were spaced oddly so that my chest wouldn't even fit properly. I told them that wouldn't work and I needed a tiny hook like the one that came on the dress. (It was small and missing just one piece) The owner then agreed to exchange the little push clips for the hooks I asked for and I returned 20 minutes later and this is what they gave me. I am just so sad. The fabric on my dress is damaged and has been sewed completely through so that thread it showing on the front. I tried the dress on for them to show them exactly where the clasps needed to be and these Massive clunky clasps were carelessly sewed on leaving damaged fabric where the wrong clips had been put. Im so disappointed and upset. But I didn't want them to touch the dress again after what they've already done to it. They offered no apology nor any sense that they had damaged my beautiful dress. Do not go here for alterations of your precious pieces. I returned the next day because I tried it on and it was horrible the way the clasps were sitting and the damaged fabric. We came in calmly to explain how this wasn't going to work for us because my mother is getting married tonight and now I need to buy another dress. The owner and his wife were there and the wife was most unpleasant. Raising her voice with us and telling us they did nothing wrong. We didn't want to fight with them or give them a hard time we just wanted to replace the dress for the wedding because the work they did is unacceptable. The wife continued to accuse us of scamming and shouting that she would not replace the dress. I had to step out because I was trying to not to cry while my husband calmly tried to reason with them. As a business owner, when one of our customers is not satisfied due to one of our shortcomings we make it right, whether we do he job again or refund them. I trusted this couple based on the outstanding reviews online and left entirely upset and devastated. Now I have to look for a new dress hours before the wedding and am out the money for this dress I brought to them since it cannot be returned. This is not how you do business. read more

Quick and affordable place for dry cleaning! Every time we drop off our clothes we tell them we need them by the next day. They always accommodate our request without having to pay extra. Don't know how their prices compare to other cleaners in the area but $3 per dress shirt and $5 per pants seems pretty reasonable to me. On the weekdays they are open from 6:30am - 6:30pm, which works perfectly for my schedule because I can quickly drop off/pick up before or after work. There is plenty of parking available so that's one less thing to worry about. We've consistently received great service for about 2 months now, no complaints! Poor communication and slow. This is the second time I used Thomas Cleaners. The first time I had a bridesmaid dress altered, it didn't come out correct the first time so they took it back and made it fit the way it should. I was on a time crunch and I was able to receive my dress by the appropriate time. I dropped off four items over a month ago, called twice in the last week checking up on them and was told they have not even started my alterations. Twice the gentleman told me he would call me and never did. Communication with your customers are key when you are backed up. Though the woman was apologetic when I took my clothes back, I sadly will need to find another Tailor for alterations. read more

I'm a bit disappointed in this place. They've hemmed and tapered a few pairs of pants for me. They did a great job I have to say. BUT, they are never done when they say they will be done and I never received a call when they were done. EVER. Also the last time I took some slacks there they neglected to crease them even though the receipt clearly says "crease". Pickup was scheduled for Weds, Thurs but when I went in Thurs to pick them up only the pair that were dry cleaned were ready. I had to come back the next day for my other two pairs of pants. Paid $20 apiece for hem and taper and $5 for just a dry clean. Guess I'll be finding a new place. Prices too high for the service. read more

Nice people, but when you take in 3 pairs of $150 jeans to have them shortened and they say yes we can keep the original hem apparently they think that means to cut off the original hem and stitch the alteration as close to they originally looked as possible. Everywhere else in the world that's called matching the stitch (which is usually cheaper) but not keeping the hem. Two totally different things and matching stitching isn't worth $10 per alteration. One last thing, they didn't even match the thread color and width well. Original is a faded yellow and they used a shiny bright yellow. Looks totally sloppy. They refused a refund and said they would fix it at the same price with the actual hem... If we went through a box of a ton of alterations scraps and matched it. Total scam artists. Too bad cash was paid or they would be getting a challenge from my credit card. I found them by yelp and hopefully other people consider this review before giving these dishonest business people any money. read more

really really great!!! yep that sums it up!!! they remember who you are, the prices are reasonable and the quality of the work is very very good - they do alterations too! I had a love affair with bell cleaners for quite a long time and while they are great also, their prices just got to be too much!! so without sacrificing quality, i found thomas cleaners. yes they are not as pretentious as bell cleaners, no fancy coffee machine, fake flowers in the waiting room, but when I get my perfectly pressed, perfectly cleaned clothes home and I still have $ in my pocket, none of that matters! read more

Mom, Dad and two sons and they are always there. Work done on premise. Promptly and very well. Always nice. - - - I can't say enough about this place. I'd say that cleaners are all about service but having gone to a place that couldn't even get shirts clean, let alone with all their buttons returned, this place is a joy to deal with. The family that runs this place are really nice people. The shirts actually smell clean and are nicely done, each one. They're fast and efficient and return your laundry in beautiful shape. I sent in a batch of dry cleaning that in any other city I have paid no more than 180.00 These crooks charged me 431.00 I was stricken. When I called to complain the phone was constantly busy. Being part of a touring road show I do not have the time to chase them down but this establishment I do not care how good they are, are highway robbers. Unbelievable. because of the amount and time frame I am convinced they know they are doing a road show and can jack prices because they know we can't come complain and as long as the phone is off the hook they can't field a complaint over the phone. Typically, I try to support 'mom & pop' shops, however this shops was disappointing and worth a review. This place is overpriced for the quality of work. $10 for every little sewing job. There prices are substantially unreasonable. Additionally, I dropped off my 4 items that I wanted hemmed on 4/20/15. The woman in the front said to return the following week which would be 4/27/15 and that she would call me. She never called me so I then called her on Tuesday 4/28/15. No one answered and I did not leave a message. When I returned to pick up my clothes on 4/30/15, 10 days after I dropped off my 4 items that need to be hemmed, the woman in the front said that my items were not ready and I should have called because they were busy. Do not bring your clothes here; price and time length is unreasonable. I, now, have to find a new place to hem my pants. read more

These people ruined my $300 dress I call ahead of time and asked if they were familiar with the material, the lady said yes I took it in two days later my dress was all stretched out and instead of owning up to it, she said there might have been a defect in the material Really!! I came in at 10 a.m and needed one shirt cleaned for a party that day. A couple places told me no, can't make have it by the end of the day. This cleaners stepped up and 5 hours later gave me a perfectly cleaned and pressed shirt. The owner should put a tip jar by the register, so they can make some tips. I am so happy to have found this place and have been using them consistently for a year. I wear suits for work and travel weekly so it's difficult to find an affordable dry cleaner that can manage to pull off such quick cleaning. I shopped around and they had the best prices. Often I can get my suits the next day and without paying an arm and a leg. Also, the whole family is so sweet. They always remember me and ask how my trip was and where I'm headed. I enjoy the personal touch and the smiling faces. Also, I have dropped off items needing tailoring and they're always done when they say they will be and up to standards.
