Thirsty turtle is iconic in south Florida for having some of the best wings around. The thing we love about thirsty turtles wings is that they are more of a sweet spicy/Asian style Buffalo. If you have ever been to thirsty turtle you know what I mean it's like a unique Buffalo sauce that can only be found here and it is out of this world! If your in the juno beach area this is a staple known for serving great food for years upon years! 10/10 read more

best place ever for wings. always crunchy but not dry. no fatty skin to be found which is perfect! never liked drumsticks but these wings are the exception. mild is the go to, medium did not hit as hard. amazing sweet garlicky flavor. and wash it all down with a ice cold root beer burgers aren't great, the appetizers are over priced for the quality, and the cocktails are not yummy. read more

Came here for lunch!! It was pretty empty for a Saturday which was surprising. I love the wait staff, they were all so welcoming and you can tell they all really care for one another. Our waitress was also very honest with what to order, which I really appreciated. I ordered the grouper blackened and asked for the mango salsa that comes on their tacos and it paired really well together!! the sweet potato mash was so good! Broccoli was good as well. read more

Husbands fav place for chicken wings in Juno thought we would try this one sauce it is closer. There are differences Juno serves Amstel light, tuna appetizer with wasabi not some wet concoction. Why any restaurant serves fish with out lemon I'll never know. Had to ask twice for that. Honey got wings, great as usual, clam chowder yummy as well. My tuna appetizer was really good till I got half through then all grizzled. Had to ask for water twice, and our 2nd drink order was forgotten. Place very busy with families, once it cleared out the floor was trashed with stuff all over and 5 employees just hanging out by the hostess stand. Not one said bye, thank U or have a good day,too busy I guess ?? Bathroom ,woman's was clean Forgot the pics of food. read more

Been here several times over past 6 years. Food is okay. Not my favorite place but it is a favorite to my sister in-law who suggested we go here. Arrived at 4:30 PM on a Sunday. Place wasn't too busy but a fairly decent crowd. Waitress was bubbly and cheerful- so far so good. Drinks arrived quick. Then placed an order for appetizers and our meals. That's when good service ended. For the next 75 minutes, we waited for our food. Appetizers never arrived. The food runner kid brought several items to our table that wasn't food we ordered. We watched him deliver wrong food to several tables before returning to the kitchen with undelivered food. We watched our waitress stumbling over herself, obviously overwhelmed and not competent in entering food orders into the computer. We asked several times where our food was and each time she assured us our meals would be delivered soon. Meals finally arrived at 5:45 PM. The meals (a burger, pasta plate, salad) were delicious. I flagged down the manager to let him know about our experience with slow service and undelivered apps. He can't fix a problem if he doesn't know about it. He said the waitress was new. He then returned to show me that our meals were entered into the computer at 5:30 so getting them at 5:45 is not considered slow service. I reminded him we placed our order at 4:30. The table of 3 guests behind us had the same experience as us. 2 out of the 3 guests had meals delivered but the 3rd guest never got her meal. She complained to the same manager and got the same excuse. I heard the woman call the manager an a$$hole. The manager by the way, wasn't paying attention to the floor. He was busy changing tv channels to sports he wanted to watch. He was leaning against the bar chatting with a man in a cowboy hat all evening while the waitress was in front of him struggling to work the computer. I actually timed her standing in front of the computer for 16 minutes in one stretch, trying to enter a food order. The manager did offer 2 free desserts to my table even though there were 3 of us. When we got our bill, it was tallied up wrong. We were charged for several beers and food we didn't order. The total bill listed as $106.15 but it should have been $54.92. It took the waitress another 15 minutes to unscrew the bill. Believe it or not, we actually tipped the waitress. She was trying but failing horribly. read more

While visiting my MIL at The Reef Club, we decided to order carryout from Thirsty Turtle. Hadn't been there for a long time. The foods still great. Hubby was moaning over the wings, Mom had her burger smeared all over her grinning face, and I LOVED the coconut shrimp salad! In case you haven't been there for a while, carryout pickup is from Thirsty Turtle Express on the opposite side of the building. It's still in the same plaza and the staff is friendly. read more

Service poor waitress put in the wrong price and didn't take responsibility for her mistake. The food was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, I have eaten at the Kee Grill, Bimini twist, the Keylime house, so I know good fish, and this was mediocre at best. Tables greasy windows inside dirty I should've just walked out as soon as I came in. read more

Food is just okay, just basic Bar quality food, No Wow Factor. Service is okay but the inside of this place is Horrible! Sorry but this place reminds me of an illegal After Hours Bar. Black walls poor lighting so dark you can't see what your eating. There is an outdoor seating area if available I recommend sitting there. Like most places they ask you how you like your burger cooked but it always comes out the same way Well Done. read more

Every single time I have been here it's been a pleasure and a staple. I've been coming here with my parents since I was a kid and could remember and now I come nonstop with my husband too. The staff was cheerful and helpful, the food was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable. I had the Apache Burger (~$12), chili, jalapeno, and cheddar. Was awesome and they accommodated me with a bit of extra chili on side for my fries. My dad had the French onion soup and a BLT and both looked great as well. Came here on a Wednesday night and sat outdoors. Overall I had a positive experience. The atmosphere is that if. Typical bar with sports broadcasting on TV and was as expected. There was a good crowd for a Wednesday just hanging out. I ordered the clam chowder soup to start and the sea scallops grilled as my entree with broccoli and coleslaw for sides. The clam chowder was a bit salty for my taste and is what brought me to give it 4 stars. The sea scallops grill in the white wine sauce were amazing! Some of the best most flavorful scallops I've had. The steamed broccoli was standard as expected. The coleslaw had a weird after taste, like it was previously frozen, so I didn't enjoy that one as much. The service was good, server was attentive and kept my water full at all times. Wonderful first visit to Thirsty Turtle! We were seated immediately. Our server was perfect-the ideal balance of attentive and on top of everything while not being too much. The most amazing spinach artichoke dip I've ever had for starters!! The conch appetizers, especially the cracked conch are amazing. This is a gem for locals as the prices, including happy hour are just right. The oysters are amazing too! The service has always been stellar and I've never had a bad experience or even a slow one here. Tiffany is an amazing server /bartender- ask for her also! To the person in their review who complained about "tipping" because of the prices - you proved that everyone should work at least once in their life in the food service industry - and see how this is quite the norm - gratuity is how servers, bartenders etc survive (I was one myself during college). I honestly can't imagine or understand how anyone could write anything less than 5 stars based on my dining experiences here and the other location. read more

I generally write medium to long reviews but when it comes to Thirsty Turtle it does not take many words to point out that they have some of THE BEST chicken wings in Palm Beach County. Fried to perfection, flavoral and consistent every time. If you have not tried their wings you are truly missing out. This is definitely a dive bar vibe and almost always packed with very little parking so plan accordingly. read more

So we decided to go here for the second time after months, even though we were not impressed the first time, but you know when you are in a rush and hungry, you kinda have no choice.Anyway, I ordered a medium-rare burger and ended up getting a well done. We asked for a side salad that came after asking for it for the second time. The waiter all the time he was chatting with us, he was looking in the opposite direction, at the beginning we thought he is you know, making the conversation interesting, but we had 4-5 chats and he barely looked at us, even when he did not understood what we were talking about, he bent down to be able to hear better, but still with his face facing the other side, really?!It was not busy, so you would expect better service and more attention to detail.Also, we never saw restaurants CHARGING you fee for paying with your card, never anywhere we ate. And we remember that first time we ate here, you had no fee for such a thing, that's just a ridiculous SCAM, and a bad image for your business, you can't tell me how to pay my bill as long as I am paying it.I guess we are not planning to go back for the 3th time. read more

The star is for the waitress, she was good. They allow smoking in the outdoor seating area which we were unaware of until after we ordered our food and were stuck sitting with cigarette smoke all around us. Food was not great, shrimp scampi had zero flavor, nachos were stale and they give you about 1 tbsp of salsa with them. They came out lukewarm with half the cheese not melted. The potatoes that came with the fried shrimp dinner weren't cooked all the way. The grouper was good but pricey. There was a $7 credit card service fee on the bill for paying with a credit card, no one disclosed this prior to us paying. Seems a bit high read more

We have been patrons of Thirsty Turtle in Juno Beach since 1994. It is our local go to pub. We have seen staff come and go and have always loved the atmosphere and the food and the service. We were disappointed when the happy hour bite prices changed but it was Covid times so understood. Also we don't mind the prices for a well drink during happy hour but the name brand liquor drinks are quite high for a casual pub. We still frequent the Turtle at least once a week but we are quite surprised at the increase in appetizer prices. They have increased dramatically and the portions are not very big. We are not the only ones shocked about the increase in these prices. We do love it there and would hope some adjustments could be made to the smaller portion appetizer prices including the appetizer specials. Just a thought. read more

Absolutely love thirsty turtle. A true bar style restaurant with live music on the weekends. Love there chili, chicken stinger wrap (our go to), Mac n cheese, salads, burgers and really any app! We have been coming here with our family for years because they have super comfy large booths and a dim chill environment. Everyone always has a great time. Thirsty turtle is super consistent and always hits the spot! If you're a Yankees fan they have some awesome memorabilia around on the walls. I haven't been here in a very long time. I always though of it as a fried food kind of place and have changed my lifestyle a bit looking for healthier options. Today's lunch was great! Jerk grouper with 2 sides....I picked 2 sides of broccoli. The fish was cooked perfect and the broccoli was fresh and cooked al dente. My husband had a haddock rueben and we shared some conch fritters. The rueben was good. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of conch in the fritters. While they had a great flavor we could only locate a few pieces of conch in the entire batch. They still serve lots of fried options and are highly regarded for their chicken wings. read more

We went here for Father's Day weekend as we were celebrating in the area. They had a waitlist and told us it would be 30-40 minutes. We put our names in as I heard very good things about the Thirsty Turtle. In 5-6 minutes we got a call being told our party was ready to be seated; however, upon reaching the front counter they had no idea who we were and that we even put our names in. They quickly resolved it and seated us. The server was not very friendly; however, she did her job well and brought us our food in a timely manner. The live music was a great touch. I'm frequently thirsty, for adult libations, and well, I've passed the Thirsty Turtle too many times and never stopped. Finally having a few hours to myself and being right down the street, I headed over to the TT to see what the story was. Small tiki seating area out back- it was nice but a bit too humid for me to be sitting outside so I headed in and grabbed a spot at the bar, as I usually do. The bar is a bit of a misnomer as there is what resembles a bar but it is mostly there to separate the kitchen from the rest of the seating area - there is a proper bar with a bartender set into a "booth" behind the bar where you sit - strange but it works. The server working the bar takes your drink order, turns around and the bartender in the booth makes the drink. A little cumbersome I guess, but it works for them. I started with smoked fish dip as I usually do and it was a decent sized serving. While I started on that, I decided to also try the wings, because that seems to be the main attraction. I ordered the wings and a nacho platter just to get a good cross section. Nachos came out first and they were just ok; nothing to crow about - the wings fared better. Everyone seems to rave about the wings and they were fine and all but I would not go the extra mile and say they were the best wings I ever had. Good, yes. Best ever? That's a bit of a stretch. The server working the bar was super sweet and she made just the right amount of small talk. Bar area was clean and in good condition. Best place in town for cook your catch. We are avid fisherman and every time we want to go out to have our fresh fish that we have caught, the thirsty turtle is our number one choice and we always go there. We have tried many other places and it's not worth going anywhere else. When they fry it it's very light on the batter so you still taste your fish. Not greasy at all. They also do a great grilled fish, they have the grill marks in it and fantastic flavor. Never overcooked. The price is very cheap compared to other places for cook your catch. It's 10 dollars and you get two sides. Go ahead and just get the jalapeño Mac and cheese. Your diet will enjoy it and don't worry I promise it won't count as calories. It is so good. Their wait staff is always super nice. Great place for sports! Huge TVs and always have every game on. My only complaint and others say this too. The place gets very busy, there is normally a long wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating, the place is just so popular that they always have a wait. They have about 5 desserts, their chocolate cake is my favorite but also have a good key lime pie. The key lime pie is fairly tart and has a lot of lime flavor. read more

Sunday 9/23/18 1 pm The good , the bad , and the ugly. Met friend to watch Giants as bar is Giant fan friendly. Very nice place inside and out. Dog friendly outside which I dig. The good was we were served by a pleasant and polite young lady even though she was outside and it was 90 degrees and packed. Baked clams and wings were awesome. Best I ever ate .Now the bad they had no clams for happy hour even though the specials are basically clams, bummer. Now the ugly , We sat outside because inside had a wait for over a hour even though it was hot as Africa. Ordered drinks and after about 20 minutes asked to put in for a table inside because it was too hot, well I guess this is not allowed because some creepy old crank pot manager came out like a nasty prick and said we would have to move from the table we were at even though we had been there 20 minutes and ordered about $30.00 in drinks already and to sit at a bench until the other table inside was ready. When asked why he just growled some crap because people are waiting for tables.Then he ask for beeper for other table when we told him we never got one I guess he realized and skulked away .What was the difference , when the other table was ready would have closed out and tipped waitress and went to the next table . Decided I wouldn't cause waves and we stayed at that table so as not to upset my my wife and friends. I think this nasty little things name was Ed as no employees would tell me his name. Someone should teach this loser some customer service because if he would have been nice I probably would have understood. As I sit here I will write this, the food is good but as for the service it SUCKS!!! Our waitress actually spoke to me as if I were an idiot. She served two tables that arrived and sat way after us, and really only cared about her costume. She was dressed as a vampire, wow hope her makeup does not leak in my food after she touched it with her hand that keeps running through her hair. As you can tell I'm quit annoyed. They are known for wings and what I got the last 2 times were tiny, small, barely any meat on the bone wings! I love them crispy and well done like they always do, but these things i got tonight I couldn't even get anything off of the wing. Never have I complained about these wings in the 15+ years I've been going here. They usually are always meaty wings. Won't be back for a while. The manager is a disgusting pig. The door said they're hiring for a host/hostess position part time and full time. When my boyfriend asked about it the manager replied, "sorry we're only looking for YOUNG GIRLS". No wonder all the waitresses and hostesses seem timid, they're working in a hostile environment. My only minor critique is that the brandy cream sauce leaned a little sweeter than I would have preferred, but it certainly didn't take away from the quality of the dish. The espresso martini was also excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and made exactly the way it should be. Spoto's is definitely on the expensive side, but that's to be expected for high-quality seafood, an upscale atmosphere, and excellent service. If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant for a date night, celebration, or special occasion, Spoto's is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

I will say I was underwhelmed by the whole experience and happy I wasn't paying for the lunch because it was not up to the quality of how expensive it was. The waitress was extremely slow on providing refills and when I asked for suggestions she only talked about the oysters and nothing outside of the starters lineup on the menu. The restaurant was pretty empty for lunch so I thought she would've been more on top of it. We ordered some oysters which were decent but I've had better on palm beach island. The crab cake was probably the only item I was thinking wow this is good. The salmon was lacking flavor and quality so I barely touched it. It was also extremely cold inside and the music was blasting. The waitress just seemed ready to keep up charging us by pushing us to order more such as coffee and dessert and not checking in on us through the meal. I would honestly skip out on this restaurant and go to La marina or another Palm beach restaurant and actually get your moneys worth.
