Kinda like a sports bar vibe without a lot of emphasis on the sports. We sat at the bar, which looks into the kitchen. For our meal, we ordered 20 wings and fries. The wings are the standout item and a local favorite. Their sauce on the wings are sweet, spicy, and garlicky. So delicious, fresh, and crispy. A truly perfect friday night meal. I have been meaning to try this place and I had for the first time for lunch. It was packed, so must be good. I was wrong. I had a shrimp salad, understandably an up charge from chicken to shrimp. The salad was so salty and drenched with dressing. I asked the server if I can add maybe croutons to help with the salt or something. She said, it's a peanut Thai sauce , so it will be salty. Been coming to the Thirsty Turtle in Juno Beach for at least 2 decades. Things have changed in Jupiter but Thirsty has been a constant since its opening. An excellent variety of food that is done well and servers who want to make your time there a pleasant & fun experience!. Thank you Peyton! The setting is that of a sports bar with many TV's inside & outside to catch a game that again has more than typical bar food. I.e. wings, fries, quesadillas etc.... There are many seafood selections as well as traditional sandwiches & meals. There is something for everyone in my opinion. This particular visit, I had the Seafood Trio with marinara sauce. There was plenty of shrimp, scallops & fish with a nice tomato sauce. My wife had the clam strips which were plentiful and hot & tender when brought to the table. You also get tartare sauce & cocktail sauce with the meal. We went that night and I chose the blackened option for the Snapper, with rice pilaf, steamed broccoli and a side salad. I loved the seasoning and the fish was cooked just right. I'm generally not a fan of tartar sauce but thought theirs was good. The rice pilaf was also flavorful. Well, I thought the food at this place was excellent! This is a bar type setting, much like a Flannigan's but I've never had a meal there like I did here. Our server Jesse was super friendly, helpful and really great. When I told him how great it was he showed me the menu for their other locations and there's a West Palm one closer to us I will definitely go to. I had the special, Panko Fried Mahi Wrap and I kid you not, BEST WRAP EVER! Kick of spicy and so flavorful. And I am not a big fry person but these fries were absolutely delicious. My wife and I were staying across the street and decided to give The Turtle a try since it's so close to our hotel. We sat in the bar area which we usually do, and we were waited on quickly by Madison. She was very attentive during our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. Jen ordered the beer battered shrimp and I ordered the Chicken Stinger sandwich. The food was good, so no complaints there. We ordered the Peanut Butter pie for dessert and it was good as well. The only reason for the 4 is the reason we sit at the bar is to watch sports on the TV's. At the Turtle, the bar area is very weird how it is set up. We sat in front of the cooks making the food. We have been to the thirsty turtle many times I don't know why I haven't written a review by now. One of the things that I truly love on the menu is the cracked conch. The con is pounded out perfectly and fried perfection. Somehow I just love it. My wife likes the nachos with chicken and jalapeños on the side of course. She orders the jalapeños for me because she knows that I'm gonna eat a few of those nachos and I want a jalapeño on each one, although she can't stand them. we love to be there for happy hour because they have some pretty good drink specials. Ok it's Friday night and we arrives at hotel for hotel in Juno Beach to kick off our long weekend after a long day at work. Tired and knowing that most restaurants would close at 9 pm, we rushed out to visit a place highly recommended by the front desk clerk at our hotel. This place was the Thirsty Turtle Seagrill, conveniently located off US 1, right across the street from our hotel. Even though the place was quite busy, our waitress Rebecca promptly took care of us and seated us quickly. She greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to explain the restaurant to us, as it was our first visit. Rebecca mentioned that the owner, Bill Watson, stops by once a week to ensure everything runs smoothly. His dedication shows--he now owns seven other Thirsty Turtle Seagrill franchises in different areas. We started our meal with a Guinness and a Stella beer, along with the smoked fish dip and sesame tuna appetizer. Both were absolutely delicious. For our main course, we had the Grouper entrée and an Angus Burger with Provolone, both fresh and tasty. To top things off, we ordered the Key Lime Pie for dessert, which was simply amazing. We also greatly enjoyed the live entertainment they have every Friday night, which added to the fun and lively atmosphere. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the ambiance was just what we needed to start our weekend on a high note. This place was busy but I was able to find a seat at the bar. They have an extensive menu packed with almost anything the stomach desires. I just popped in for a beer and snack after the beach. We met up with some friends here. I have a golden retriever that accompanies me everywhere I go, so being dog-friendly was a plus. I like the patio area, it provides a great seating area to enjoy the weather and the food. I ordered a couple of glasses of sweet tea for my wife and I. My wife instantly expressed her displeasure with the flavor of the sweet tea. I went in for the investigation. Yep, it was horrible!! How do you mess up sweet tea in Florida?! Bringing this to the attention of our server, we were told, "No one likes our sweet tea. We don't make it here. It is served with our dispensing guns". One would question the decision-making processes of the management team moving forward if they don't listen to the consumers and continue to make poor choices despite feedback. One other plus was if you have had a long day fishing and want your fresh catch prepared for you, they will do that here. Conch Fritters were good, but the Conch Soup/Stew, not so much. That is unless you were wanting a chili or a minestrone. There was nothing representing this dish as a Conch dish. Artichoke dip, presentation is where it stops. That was cute, nice try. I have the Fish and Chips that turned into Fish and 2 sides. The Jalapeno Mac and cheese and the coleslaw were my sides. Unless you like Cheese Wiz I mean really like Cheese Wiz the Jalapeno Mac was not enjoyable. The Cole Slaw on the other hand was good. The Fish was cooked well but lacked flavor, someone get this chef a spice rack and some marinades. My wife chose the Seafood Pasta with raw undercooked scallops. Yep, you too can get a portion of the rawness if you order this. The linguine was mixed mush and al'dente as though it was mixed with older pasta. Maybe this was just an off night, 3.5 stars might be a stretch of the imagination. Our returned is questionable. read more

I was vegetarian...until I went here! My fiancé and his family go fishing on a charter boat. We brought our fish here and they cooked it up for us! Delicious fish, excellent sides. Highly recommend! I wish the seating area was larger but they make up for it with their cooking. It's the best place in the area to bring your catch. A secret menu item: get their spicy mustard. Went for the wings because everyone said they were the best in town. I am not a huge chicken wings person, I would not generally order them over anything else but these wings were very very good. I got the medium sauce and it had great flavor to it. Only problem with the wings were that 17 dollars for 10 wings with not a lot of meat on them is too expensive. I really enjoyed the wings but they came without a side and I still definitely walked out hungry. Well, this was a mediocre experience from start to finish. First, we were incorrectly called in from our wait. Or they gave our initial table away. Something along those lines, it was a little unclear. Then we were seated in a corner table surrounded by TVs, which was not our vibe, as we aren't football watchers. It wouldn't have been an issue if the TVs were not at like... eye level, it was headache inducing (see in photo). We moved to a booth, which was fine. Brady was a great server, so that was a silver lining. The conch chowder and chicken ranch wrap were both serviceable but the stinger salad left a little to be desired.
