In order of best/must try: Drink: Bloody Mary: homemade tomato juice and the hint of horseradish was perfection. Food: 1) crab Benedict- crab stuffed cakes with perfectly cooked eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. 2) filet + eggs + grits. The perfect amount of grits that were creamy and delicious. The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! The environment is super clean, service across the board is excellent and perfect Palm Beach vibes.

Tuna poke rolls or some similar then across a few days tried the salmon, chicken under a brick, chicken pot pie (best we have had in a long time), Cuban sandwich, and even the cookies and milk. Fries are incredible. Great menu and can literally order anything. Only knock was service. Felt very rushed and seemingly no need for it. No crazy wait or lines out the door. Just rushed, few word exchanges with the server. Little slower pace, and little engagement with the family and instant five stars.

It's beautifully decorated and truly Instagram-worthy. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot for a special outing or even just to enjoy the ambiance. Our waiter was also excellent, attentive and efficient, he also made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout our meal. That said, there were a few downsides. Upon arrival, valet service was disappointing. Several employees were standing around talking while only one person was actively working, which caused unnecessary delays. Both the car in front of us and our own were left waiting longer than expected. Food-wise, while everything was good, my meal arrived warm rather than hot, which took away from the experience a bit. Also, our food did not arrive at the same time. For a restaurant at this level, I expected better attention to that detail. Dessert was also a bit underwhelming visually as I was expecting something more polished and presentable to match the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Overall, RH delivers on atmosphere and service at the table, but tightening up the valet experience and food presentation/temperature would really elevate it to the next level.

The place is a little funky--in the most charming way--with local art on the walls and a laid-back vibe. I've held off on writing this review and I really hate to say it because I want this place to be…read moregood every single time I go, but the service is actually so terrible and by the looks of the other reviews, I'm not the only one who thinks so. The food is baseline for a diner. It's nothing special, but it is mostly acceptable and the ambience truly does all of the heavy lifting for this restaurant. The last three times I went the service is just despicable really. You look around and most people have their food and there's maybe two or three tables that need to either order or still receive their food and you sit there and you don't even get a drink order taken for literally 15 minutes which was my experience the last time I went, we were sat by the hostess, who quickly returned to the host stand to just stand there, and we waited for our waitress to get our drink order and it took over 15 minutes for anyone to come, and the only reason they came is because we got up and asked if we were going to get seen by anyone. And being that the service was so incredibly slow and lackadaisical the last few times I timed how long it took for me to get my food and it took 47 minutes for them to deliver a turkey club and a Philly. And the time before the most recent time I was there for breakfast and it took them over an hour to bring the food out, and they did NOTHING about it. Which really was the most shocking part I am in the Restaurant industry myself and there are things that are objectively right and there are things that are objectively wrong and something wrong happened and they had nothing to say for it except sorry. The poor young guy behind the counter on the way out was throwing himself under the bus as if the whole Restuarant is on his shoulders meanwhile our waitress had nothing to say drop the check off and just moved on in spite of the fact that I took the time to communicate that I was very disappointed by the extremely long wait time and the club I had on this occasion had rotten tomatoes in it that I couldn't even remove from my sandwich because they were basically mush but it's kind of like the perfect situation for them because I'm so hungry at this point after waiting so long that I do my best to remove it and my waitress is nowhere to be seen so it's not like she's gonna hear about it until she drops the check off. So basically long story short if you're in the market for mediocre food, extremely slow service and a somewhat interesting ambience and you have about three hours on your hands Howleys is the spot for you! I'm all down for the hipster vibes and I know subculture tends to lean on that but I think that they really gotta understand that they're not too cool to care about giving good service and and checking that their produce is fresh. It's such a great location and if they can't run this restaurant the way it should be maybe they should consider selling it to somebody who cares more. Having mini golf out front doesn't make up for the fact that you need to take care of people. Also, don't look in the spout of the creamer tin... Yelp I guess likes pictures so pictured below is the root beer float that took 30 minutes to come after we finished eating. I come here all the time and I really wish they would just do better. I literally just come for the ambience, but imagine if this place actually ran well and you didn't have to suffer waiting or picking at your food! Think about it! Also if you're the manager I don't need your phone number or some kind of vip service next time I go! I just need regular good service! The kind that every customer should go in there and be able to expect!

There's extra vegetables in the dishes. The macaroni salad was to die for. The herbs were right on. The peas and rice were so tasty. I had to hold back from eating more and filling up. Complementary fried plantains were added to the order. The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and there was spicy sauce on the side, added to the chicken. We had not eaten oxtails before. Go figure! They were so Tender and falling off the bone. The sauce was excellent with added carrots and butter beans. So good. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes they offer. Service: Very friendly and attentive. Most people seem to order and carry out. We chose to eat in and they went out out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Ambience: Again, it's more of a carryout restaurant, but the restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. When I go back, I would like to sit down and eat in the restaurant with its colorful decor and reggae playing on the speakers again. Unfortunately, almost everything else fell flat. The menu is quite limited, and the drink selection is even more restricted. No Merlot on the wine list? That was surprising. We were also disappointed to hear the skirt steak was already sold out by 5:00 pm, especially given how few entrée options there were to begin with. The food itself was a major letdown. The "de-boned" bronzino was anything but-- it arrived with tons of bones, making it unpleasant to eat. The French dip sandwich was downright horrible, lacking flavor and horrible texture. Service was slow and inattentive, which only made the experience more frustrating. To top it off, there was a bug floating in my martini. Water kept dripping from the vent onto our table throughout the meal. Little things like that really ruin the vibe. If you're going for the nice setting alone, maybe it's worth a quick drink. I took a seat at the end of the empty bar and waited for a bartender. I was greeted quickly and offered a lunch and cocktail menu. However, I had to ask for the Happy Hour Menu (I arrived at 1:13pm). Not sure if this is a standard practice or if the bartender truly had just lost track of time. After perusing the happy hour menu (all items listed are $10) I decided on the Citrus Mojito, the Wagyu Steak Skewer, the Beef Cheek Empanada and the Lobster Bisque Shooter. The mojito was GOOD. Very refreshing, not too sweet, yet still light and flavorful. I felt good after one. The Wagyu Steak Skewer was the most UNDERWHELMING choice of the afternoon. Thick cut of meat, salted nicely, but if you don't like your cow still mooing don't order! I did not get a choice in temperature. It wasn't a huge deterrent for me but definitely could be unsettling for others. The Beef Cheek Empanada was my favorite bite of the afternoon. My only complaint is that you only get one per order lol. Flakey crust. Filled with nicely seasoned beef. 10/10! The Lobster Bisque Shooter has great potential, but today, was poorly executed. The lobster bisque itself is exceptionally flavorful, but terribly salty. It doesn't help that the cheese in the grilled cheese sandwich adds a layer of salt, that in conjunction with the soup, just ultimately cripples the dish. Any happy hour downtown with a $10 drink option is a gem in itself, but I would certainly return for the empanadas.
