Got the Aztec and the was great. I was kinda struck by the $32 prices at but you get $18 refills for life and so many people stopped and asked me where I got my drink, so I get it, riverwalk prices. There is no place inside to sit and enjoy the AC so you have to either walk with it or sit on the brick outside. I didn't like that idea because of the humidity but when your holding a drink that big with flashing lights at the bottom , I guess the fashion statement makes up for lack of comfort. The Thirsty Aztec is conveniently located next to a river cruise departure spot. Alcoholic beverages are allowed along the Riverwalk, including on the boats. I enjoyed a refreshing beverage from this spot, and would again. However, the music they play is extremely loud and disturbing as one awaits outside for a boat cruise. read more

Grossly overpriced for beers and sugary drinks. The kicker? Well I asked for some water in my empty glass, and was told tap water wasn't allowed, server could get in trouble for that, and bottle of water was $3.00. Perhaps San Antonio could do with a law like Tucson, that you have to give people water when they ask for it. read more

I was lucky enough to have great service from the girl that served my slushee, however things for worse. As we were sitting enjoying ourselves looking at the restaurant a woman who was working walked up and took my moms beer that she was only half way done with.
