The place was fairly small located within the Aztec theatre and it seems to be a weekend hit as a little corner smelled like vomit... faint but still. Not too bothersome as I imagine they prob clean well during the week. If you check in on yelp you get a free jello shot so remember to check in when you come. I would probably not come on a busy night as it is a pretty small venue, but it was indeed perfect for a quick drink and go. The prices for the size of the drink were pretty fair. My first time going to the River walk at night was around Halloween time and my friends and I stopped into the Thirsty Aztec. Slightly on the more expensive side (it was $35 for my drink) BUT the drink I got (the smallest one) is large enough for two adults to share. It comes with a huge flashing up, a mixed drink slushy in the cup, a shooter, and a jell-o shot. And yes I carried the cup every where and yes I brought it home with me. You can buy souvenir tower margaritas and refill them for a lower price. The staff was extremely helpful and willing to go that extra mile to help tourists out. It was pricey if you are on a budget. However, the souvenir cups are refillable ALL YEAR LONG, so if you go often or live close then it would be a great deal. The drinks are delicious, but they aren't the strongest. It is better to take the drinks to go as the bar seating is small and very dark, even during the day. The best part is that you can take the drinks on the riverwalk (verified with the park police) and it is super cold for a super hot day. Stumbled upon this bar on a bar crawl with friend on Halloween. Immediately was drawn to the place by the upbeat music, lights and all the big colorful drinks leaving with people.
