Then the installer came out (the third-party installer was great), removed our carpet and send pictures to corporate. HOM solutions decided that the project was too much for them to handle because the floor required leveling and cancelled the job! Do NOT use Colorado Window Source for your window. It's impressive how bad they are at every aspect…read moreof their job. The install was HORRIBLE and ugly, and it took them over a year to do what they said they would do in 6 weeks. First, they gave us an estimate of about 6 weeks for the window install. I give them a deposit, and they essentially disappeared and were impossible to get ahold of. A year later, the windows were still not in. After about a year, we were finally scheduled to get the windows in. But the patio doors that were also to be installed were not ready because they forgot to order them. The patio door took another 2 months to arrive. When they did the install, the quality of their install was jaw dropping ugly and terrible. Their caulking work looked like a 5 year old who used bubble gum. I ended up hiring someone to remove all of the caulking, and re-caulk the windows properly. This was over a week long project and cost about 2k. Do not, under any circumstance, use Colorado Window Source. No wonder why they have such bad reviews.

The guy who was supposed to measure our windows no showed.. twice. Taking time off work to meet someone who never shows gets old. I understand life happens but I expect communication. It took a month (with me calling often) to finally get the windows measured. Then it took another two months for the windows to show up (and constant follow up calls to make sure the windows were actually ordered). Most were installed fine, but one window was mis-measured by 4 inches! When I asked about the incorrect window measuring, Paulo was rude and unprofessional calling my house "janky" as the reason the window was off by 4 inches. Their solution was for me to hire a handyman to knock out our wall to accommodate their incorrect window size. Ha! Obviously they couldn't install the extra large window they ordered, but they took it with them, claimed they broke it, and said they'd expedite a reorder of the incorrect window. Which makes no sense when the window isn't the correct size! The installers left old windows and junk in my backyard. I've called many times requesting them to pick up the old windows. It's now four months later, I'm not expecting them to pick up their junk. I still haven't received that expedited reorder of the wrong window. I don't expect my money back for a window I never received. I just tell all my friends and other contractors never to work with them.
