I'm extremely happy with Sean over at Third Gen Garage Doors. Not only does it look amazing, but these new doors are very quiet and smooth operating. It also makes the curb apeal look much more modern. I feel like I have the Tesla of Garage Doors. From order to install it only took 1 month. The installation was a day and a half. Everything was cleaned up, and he even showed us how to connect with the app via wireless. The caulk and trim work around the openings was done well. I'm a very happy customer, and I highly recommend Sean and his company for anyone who has garage door needs. I wish all home improvement projects we've done over the years went as smooth as this project. If you are in the market of replacing garage doors, give him and his company at least a shot to provide a quote to earn your business. read more

Unfortunately Our garage spring broke on Thanksgiving, so understandably we could not get someone to the house on Thursday. I had three contractors offer to get the work done on Friday, but Sean was the only one who said he would be there first thing Friday am so we chose his Company. Unfortunately Sean texted on Friday and apologized that he did not have the parts, and would have to come Monday, three days later. This of course meant I had to go back to the other vendors, and was not able to get the work done until Saturday. Sean was very apologetic, and it sounds like it was a mistake, but he still did not offer to come over and help get my cars out of the garage to at least allow me to have them for the holidays, which would have been the right thing to do. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. They responded very quickly and fixed the problem in a short period of time. I originally called another company and had an appointment set up and they flaked. Just didn't show up, no call, nothing. I then called Sean at 3rd Gen, and he was at my home within hours on the same day! Awesome service. I will definitely use them again if/when the need arises. read more

Long story short: call Third Gen Garage Doors NOW if you want an amazing garage door. Just see for yourself between the before and after photos of mine. I initially found Third Gen Garage Doors on Instagram and I was impressed by garage door installs that I saw. I reached out once I was ready to move forward with ordering a door. Sean (the owner) supplied me with all the brochures for a more modern door since that was what I was shopping for. (They can also do a more classic or carriage look, but I only saw pic from other installs and they did look good too.) Depending on what you're looking for, they might have something in stock to where you can get a quicker installation turn around. My order took around 3 week from ordering to final install. The products that I looked at were from C.H.I. I ended up picking out the "plank" style, which had texture that mimics wooden planks, and I also added long horizontal tinted windows that went down the right side of the door. I did ask Sean to come out and ensure that I got the right measurements. At that time, I met Grant and Paul, who were the ones that came out for the installation. On the day of installation, we were home all day so I was very flexible, the team did call me to state they were running slightly behind which was cool with me! Once they were here, it took about 2-3 hrs to remove the old door and track. Then install the new door, new tracks and ensure that everything was leveled, sealed, and running properly. Once Grant and Paul were done, they ensured I was happy with the installation and look of everything. They went over maintanence of the door and any joints I'll need lubricate yearly to ensure they're running smoothly. Even after the door was installed, I got a text from Sean checking in to ensure that I was happy with the door and installation. Overall, it was such an easy process working with Third Gen Garage Doors and I'm extremely pleased with the look of the door. I have the best looking garage door on the block!!!!! Shout out to Grant and Paul for working extremely hard on the installation, just shows how much they care about doing it right the first time! read more

I was locked out of my unattached garage on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend - called Third Gen first thing and they showed up within an hour. They provided a replacement disconnect key / kit, new remotes, and serviced the door to make it open and close more smoothly. Trustworthy, straightforward. Easiest company to work with. Would not hesitate to call again - highly recommend. read more

My garage door opener failed during the recent five foot snowfall. Since my wife and I are elderly, manual operation of the door is difficult. We needed a fast replacement, and Sean was great in facilitating next-day service. Danny did a great job with the installation, and the whole job came in lower than expected. Our new opener is silent, smart-enabled, and a joy to use. Quality? You bet. Value: cost was eminently fair. Our garage door opener replacement could not have been more easy and fast. I highly recommend Third Gen Garage Doors! read more

Quick to respond, garage repair was done well, and flexible. If I need any more repairs I definitely will call again.

Saun does a really good job and very responsible alway on time and a really honest person

When we wanted to replace our garage door, several years ago, we contacted a few different vendors. Sean was very responsive and knowledgeable and helped us get a five-panel door in a custom color to match our aluminum-clad windows. Installation was quick and clean. We have had only a couple of minor issues since and they have been addressed promptly and professionally. We like working with small local businesses. read more

Sean and his team did a remarkable job with the replacement of my old garage door. First off, I like the no haggle approach with an awesome quote begin with to replace the old door, add an opener, and install new tracks. Also, I was blown away by the 24 hour install turn around time! That was impressive my friend. Thank you for the hard work third gen garage door! read more

Couldn't be happier with the garage door repair and service I got from Third Gen. Punctual, professional and skilled. Nice guys too. Mine was a tricky repair that, I think, not all repair men could have done. For them, It was no problem. The price was better than reasonable/expected. I kept their card and will only call Third Gen for future needs. I highly recommend them for any garage door repairs. I hope to get a new door in the future and I'll definitely be calling Third Gen for that too. read more

Sean at Third Gen was terrific! We ended up having buyers remorse about the first door we got (it simply didn't go with the house; there was nothing wrong with the door itself or with Third Gen's workmanship), and Sean was very helpful and accommodating with helping us get a replacement quickly, and was very flexible about scheduling. I ended up selling the first door to a friend nearby, and Sean very helpfully took care of installing that door at his house, so we didn't have to deal with a 3rd party or make additional arrangements. The door itself is wonderful, and I love the whisper-quiet opener they installed. I also love that the opener has wifi capability, so that I don't have to worry about whether my garage door is open when I'm not at home. Thanks very much, Sean! read more

Sean arrived on time and sorted me out with new remotes for the house I've just moved into. He's got a great attitude and a breezy way about him which makes all the difference. Thank-you Sean and 3rd Gen. read more

I hired Third Gen to put up a new garage door on my first home. They were really professional. Showed up on time for both the estimate and the work. Were able to get the job done the next day! Definitely recommend! read more

Sean and his team were absolutely great! We'd become frustrated trying to find an installer who a.) would show up when promised b.) understood our needs c.) was not trying to rip us off. Surprisingly, that's a fairly tall order in the Denver area. Seriously. Third Gen came in, listened, provided options to fit our budget (we went higher end), and did what was agreed to, and at the time promised. Good outfit. read more

I don't know that garage door services get any better than what Sean and his team do. I'm a GC and have used him on a couple different jobs and have referred him to my father in law as well as a realtor I know of and he knocks it out of the park every single time. read more

Can't say enough positive things about Sean and Grant of Third Gen. They gave great advice and suggestions but weren't hard sell, and in fact, they talked me out of a more expensive option they thought would be too high maintenance. Great at managing expectations and super responsive via text, phone, and email. They took payment via Square which is becoming more standard, but I'm always a little surprised at how often I still have to write checks to service providers. Installation looks great and after they were done, it was like the job site never happened. Walked me through the lone piece of annual recommended maintenance (which I have never done in any house I've owned, so who knew you were supposed to oil the rollers?) Easy going and easy to work with. read more
