One installer left partway through the job, leaving the other to finish late into the evening. Less than two years later my garage door started having serious problems opening and closing. I had another reputable garage door company inspect the system and they found multiple installation issues. The door was completely unbalanced, the tracks need to be redone, and the springs have to be fully replaced. The technician also said I am lucky the opener itself was not damaged from the strain caused by the poor installation. I now have to spend about $2,000 to correct work that should have been done properly the first time. For a $3,000+ installation to fail in under two years is completely unacceptable.
