Aaron was fantastic to work with! Mountain View Doors was one of 3 bids we solicited through Home Advisor. They were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. You could just tell Aaron knew a lot about doors, lifts, and quality products...and he didn't use pressure sales tactics either. He educates his customers and genuinely offers great service. He was on time for both the estimate and installation appointments. Due to Covid delays (which were also a factor with our new windows, security door, etc.), Aaron estimated 12-13 weeks to receive the doors from CHI - and our doors were installed exactly 13 weeks from the order date. The new motors he recommended are very quiet and also WIFI accessible from our phones; we are so happy we decided to replace our old (1980's) ones. Installation was clean and everything looks very professional. Aaron was happy to answer multiple emails from us regarding timing as we were also coordinating the painting of our exterior and wanted to be sure the doors were installed before painting. After a long and fruitful life, our garage opener became possessed. It would open at random, which wasn't a good look by any means. We knew we wanted to replace the opener, but ended up replacing the our whole door and the opener with Aaron. Garage doors aren't cheap, but I think it's one of the coolest, "why didn't I think of that?" upgrades you can do to the exterior of your house. They're also supposed to be one of the best upgrades in terms of return on investment that you can do! What separates Aaron from others is his communication and commitment to quality. From picking up the phone when you call, to calling you back and giving you updates along the way, he cares about his customers and about doing a great job. We had some supplier hiccups with the holidays that delayed the completion of our project by a few weeks (not his fault), but Aaron always let me know what happened and when we could expect to have things done. It would've been great if everything was done perfectly on time, but he handled the changes in a 5-star way. That goes a long way. For an example of his commitment to quality, Aaron saw a bump in the finish of our garage door after installation that I never would've noticed. Instead of just leaving things and hoping we didn't say anything, he insisted on replacing it, which forced him to go back to his supplier to get the part, and come out to work on our door again. He had to do twice the work to fix something that I literally wouldn't have noticed, and he did it without prompting. Best of all, the installation is great and looks awesome. Our door opens so smoothly. He got our opener connected to WiFi and set up the garage opener in my wife's car too. I'm confident that our door will be in great shape for the next couple decades, but if anything goes awry, I know that I can call Aaron, and he'll get everything up and running. Additionally, they were one of only two companies that told me what brand of doors they used, allowing me to research the door brand to see if it was a good quality. This really helped me to compare them to other companies more easily, and with their good pricing and good quality doors, I ended up going with them. They were able to move the process along very quickly. When my door got installed, it turned out one of the panels was dented and they were back out the following week to replace the dented panel. Our garage door has never worked well (since we bought our house) but we were just making due until it really didn't work anymore. Then it broke to the point that it didn't work at all. I left Aaron a message and he called me back quickly, and said he was sorry that his soonest time would be in two days - which actually worked perfectly for my schedule. He called before coming and quickly figured out a few things that were wrong with my garage door. I thought I had to replace the whole motor, but turned out he saved me some money by fixing the parts that weren't currently working.
