Great experience. Friendly service. Prompt. Intelligent. Available for many questions so I understood the services and equipment. Highly recommended! read more

Louie helped us upgrade our garage door. His pricing and availability were better than any of the other places we called. The service he has provided since installation has been amazing. We had one little issue that was due to the weather changing and he came out without charge to fix. 5 stars all day! read more

Very responsive and with fair pricing. Had our door break the night before July 4th and they came on the 4th to repair it. We really appreciated them doing that so we could enjoy our weekend. Excellent company! read more

Louie was great to work with and he did a great job with our garage door. Service was quick and professional. Never felt like we were being pushed to spend more money or do unnecessary repairs. He was on time, efficient and communicated really well. His pricing was upfront and fair. We highly recommend and would hire him again. read more

Louie did a fantastic job on our door. He was professional and gave us a reasonable price without any surprise charges. I would highly recommend him. read more

Louis is fantastic. He installed a new garage door and opener at our mountain house, and just replaced a spring for us in Denver. He recommended a few small tweaks to make the system stronger. Otherwise he didn't upsell us or overcharge us, even on short notice. He even suggested something but then later told us we still had some time before we needed to do it. I'll hire him again and again. Highly recommended! read more

Five star reviews for restaurants feel good to write. What's better? Five star reviews for serious matters, like home repair. You can lose a lot more than a meal when choosing poorly. Here goes. After misfortune struck our garage door, I cringed, knowing everything costs more since Covid. Had I known a hail storm were coming the next day, I'd have been even more worried about finding the right people to help with the door. Yelp help (in the form of Ascent) literally started 10 minutes after my quote request. Louie was prompt, yet patient with my stingy hopes of avoiding full replacement. He explained options clearly. He also offered a price that undercut the first company to stop in by four hundred dollars pre tax and could do it in a couple days vs 7-10 days. No trip charge. Yeah, I would love it if he stops by. He did, quickly securing what the previous company tech called a "significant safety risk" requiring a few hundred dollars to mitigate, allowing the door to close fully. No charge. Golden rule stuff. After examination, we agreed a replacement door was necessary after all. No pressure. Just facts. On point. He didn't have to sell me, especially considering he could do this within a few days, not 7-10 days as offered by his competition. Installation was quick and he was on his way. Flawless victory. Five stars. read more

Not only have I used Ascent garage doors to replace a door and do service on doors (at two properties I own), I have recommended them to all of my customers (I'm a painting contractor), and I have always heard great things back about their timeliness, great customer service, and how resonable their prices are. Too many companies in this space want to come out, upsell you, sell you on a service plan, and totally rip you off. Not with Ascent. They are a smaller local company, and you will work directly with the owner, who is GREAT! No high pressure. Great advice. Good prices. DON'T waste your time calling any one else. read more

Was able to get my garage up within a week. I ordered a new door and had a snapped spring. P

Lou was able to get to me when I needed him. He was very easy to communicate with throughout the job and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. I will definitely use him for my future garage door needs and will happily recommend him to friends and neighbors. It is a treat to have my door operating properly again. Thanks Lou! read more

I gave a quick call to get an estimate for a broken spring on our garage door. Louie was helpful and in knowledgeable. He was able to get us in the same day, then called because he was 10 minutes from our place, so we got everything fixed within an hour of calling him! He was fair, he made recommendations on work to be done, and gave pricing but no pressure at all. Happy with the service and we'd use him again! read more

The company took our half down deposit and never returned calls to install the door. Would not recommend.

Louie was great to work with. We replaced our old wood door with an insulated metal door. Louie was good at communicating with us the status of our order and provided quality work at a great price. Highly recommend! read more

Louie was great! He came in urgently. He squeezed me in his schedule quickly. I said that the issue was I couldn't close my garage door, and he fit me in his schedule right away, really being empathetic to his customers' issues. He's very knowledgeable! He came in, he knew what the issue was right away, and got the job done quickly. He even gave me more information so I was very well informed and know what to watch out for with my garage. He also gave me a quote right before he came so I knew what I was working with. He's efficient, works fast but great, knowledgeable, and affordable pricing! read more

Service was great, and fast. He looked over the whole components and oiled everything and let me know how everything was looking and when things may need servicing again. read more

The spring on my garage door snapped and I figured I'd need to replace the opener itself before much longer, so I decided to just do it all at once. Looked around online for companies in the Denver area with good reviews, and saw Ascent mentioned frequently. The good reviews are warranted. Louie was friendly, laid back and genuine. When I called, the response was immediate, pricing was up front, and the work was scheduled and completed quickly. There was an issue with the opener (not at all related to Louie's work), and he came back the next morning to address it. All's working great now. I hope I don't have any issues with the garage door for a long time, but if/when I do... I'll call Ascent again. read more

Fast, friendly professional service. Reasonable up front pricing (it helped that I had shared a picture of the door and my issue). Highly recommend, and will use again! read more

Easy to get ahold of, quick professional service, and absolutely fair pricing. 1000% better than the last garage door company I worked with. Louie was able to squeeze me in after hours and take care of everything my old garage door needed in absolutely no time at all. He also gave great advice on what to watch out for and what future service might be needed. Will definitely call these folks again! read more

Best price, fast install and not pushy on things that needed to be done. Would recommend.

Responsive, quick, professional, timely. Would recommend them to anyone without question!

Reached out to Ascent Garage Doors and spring was replaced next morning. Great service, great quality. Highly recommend them for garage door related things. read more

My 13-year-old Craftsman 3/4-hp opener had a failing cable/chain, and the door was quite noisy. Louie came, appraised the whole thing and while suggesting a new opener to avoid possible problems in the near future he was satisfied with my decision to replace only the rail ass'y and the door rollers. I'm not only very happy with the work that was done in less than an hour (don't hold him to that...you never know what lurks) but the door is whisper-quiet, meaning wear and tear on the opener itself is a lot less. So if you want peace of mind without pieces falling on your car, you can trust his judgment. Louie is the man! read more

The spring on the door broke so I called Ascent. No answer initially but left a message, within a couple of minutes my call was returned. Gave me an estimate which seemed reasonable. Louie, the owner, said he couldn't make it that afternoon but would be here within a two hour block. The following day he showed up when he said he would replaced the spring and serviced the door. I was more than happy with his work and his easy going demeanor. I have no reservations about recommending Louie. read more

The team with ascent got back to me very quickly and got the garage door fixed within a day of my request. I appreciated the prompt response and made a recommendation/fix to prolong the life of the door that only increased the cost of the project by a small margin. read more

Louie with Ascent Garage Doors was great! My spring broke over the weekend and I sent out quotes on Yelp and found Ascent to be the most affordable, responsive, and transparent. They had no hidden fees and the price quoted remained the same. They were super to easy to communication with and the whole process was seamless with no hassles. Other companies wanted to come to my place to provide a free estimate or evaluate my system and I just didn't have time for that. I knew what my issue was, sent pictures, and Louie gave me an estimate based on the information I provided him. Other companies didn't want to give me a price or their prices were higher with a less appealing warranty. If you need garage door service - go to Ascent! I've already done the research for you :) Although this was an unexpected expense, my garage door is fixed and I am pleased with the service and price paid. Thanks to Yelp and Ascent! read more

Excellent response time and in really bad weather conditions. Did not try to upsell any additional equipment or services.

Louie stole my down payment. I would not trust Ascent Garage Doors. He quoted me, took my down payment and ghosted me. I spoke to him once and he said he would call me back. Now after repeatedly reaching out for an entire year I have got nothing. Texts, calls, voicemails, etc. He has stolen my down payment and left me with little choice but to leave an honest review. Maybe he will see this and decide to call me back. Until then, I would not trust him. He is very shady about his business and not to be trusted. Do not make my mistake. read more

We've used Ascent twice now and they are truly great - fixed our door quickly and at a reasonable price.

We have a very old garage door setup that's on its last leg. Louie came out and gave it a much-needed tune-up without pushing for a full replacement, even though it's overdue. Right after the tune-up, new tenants arrived and broke the door so badly it came off the rails. I was sure a full replacement was inevitable. Louie returned on short notice and took great care of us. He explained he could repair the damage to help us avoid a full replacement and was honest about preparing for one in the not-so-distant future. This is exactly the type of service you want in these situations. Louie provided an honest assessment and excellent service at a fair price. Highly recommended! read more

Quick response, came out as promised on time. Got my door fixed quickly. Would definitely use him again.

Louis was very friendly and professional. He arrived early for our appointment and called ahead to make sure we were home. He made some recommendations for additional repairs to help extend the life of the door in addition to replacing the operator that we had scheduled him for. I'd highly recommend Ascent! read more

They picked up my call and were at my house the next day to replace broken spring. Nice people and family owned. Support small business!!!

They came & resolved a few minor problems preventing our garage door from opening. Easy scheduling & very quick response

While my project was delayed by about a month due to an ordering issue, the work Louie completed was excellent and we are very pleased with the new doors. Louie is easy to work with and usually prompt when replying. There were a few instances where he was difficult to reach, and more frequent updates about the delivery status of our doors would have been helpful, since there were many weeks of just waiting. Overall, I would recommend Louie to anyone looking for new doors. read more

I had a broken spring and called Ascent. Within an hour he was at my house and had it fixed and up and running in no time. I researched prices of several garage door companies and he was a lot cheaper than others. Louie worked on my door and I discovered he is also the owner of Ascent . He was the lead tech at another garage door company so you know you're getting someone whose been in the business a while and knows there stuff. A Great price for someone who is knowledgeable, affordable and has quality work is a hard combo to find but with this company you get that! I would highly recommend! read more

Louie the owner of Ascent Garage Doors was awesome. We had a broken door spring and he was able to come by within a couple of hours and fix it! He found a couple of other issues (which could have attributed to the broken spring...in addition to its age) which he pointed out and gave a quote to address those on the spot. His pricing is super reasonable and looks like the work quality is top notch. Repaired everything in a timely fashion and even did a complementary tune up on the whole system. During this Covid situation it's great to see service providers like Louie taking all the precautions to keep his customers safe. Gloves, mask and he disinfected all the surfaces he touched with Lysol before leaving. He's also offering free garage tune-ups to any "front-line" workers during the pandemic so give him a call! Also (I know...it's crazy how good this guy is) Louie donates 5% to a selection of local charities which range from children's services to veterans to animals. So awesome! Will definitely be keeping his business card handy for anytime we have garage door needs. read more

Please read this. Do not use Louie and Ascent garage doors. Ours broke in November and we are still waiting on ours in mid March. He has ghosted us after taking half of our deposit and will not return phone calls, texts, etc. We've gone as far as to reach out to our bank to get payment back. Please save yourself the time, money and headache. Use someone else. read more

Louie with Ascent was honest and straightforward with his diagnostics and fast and skilled in his repairs. He was out the same day we called and had our door repaired and working better than it had in years in just a couple hours. Not only that but he had the best prices I could find so we ended up getting a new opener, too. The beautiful thing about working with a small company is that you know you're getting the right person and good information when you call--in this case you'll likely get the owner, Louie, who is super knowledgeable and responsive. Showed up on time and with all the safety precautions (mask, gloves, disinfectant spray) to make us feel safe during this whole covid situation; I never felt we were at risk by having him at our home. Highly recommend--will definitely be keeping their info on hand and recommending to our entire neighborhood. read more

My garage door opener gave out. I thought it would be a good time to replace my 50 year old wood doors. Louie was great to work with. We discussed all the options, colors, etc. He gave me a great price for a full door replacement with the new high tech opener. Louie is a very hard worker and the install with a metal, insulated door looks great. He walked me through the new opener controls and app. Thank you read more

I would use this company over and over. So professional and goes out of his way to take care of the customer by not only fixing the door but educating us. Super grateful we found Ascent Garage. read more
