After getting four quotes, I came to realize that each company pretty much has one type of siding they recommend and install. For one company we interviewed it was LP (engineered wood), for two companies it was Hardie (fiber cement), and for the last company, Superior Industries, it was a material we hadn't heard of before: Gentek ALIGN Composite Cladding (aka Alside ASCEND Composite Cladding). I was initially skeptical because I hadn't come across it in my research. How good could it be? Turns out, amazing. Really glad I called Mike to come take a look, as otherwise we would have ended up spending a lot more to get a not-quite-as-good product. Superior Industries replaced all of our siding, soffits, and facia, and aluminum-wrapped all new trim boards for us. They did precise, high-quality work and it really shows. Communication was good throughout and the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. Mike only has a couple teams, so these guys have been with him for many years and really know their stuff. They listened to everything I had to say, they consulted me when there were any decisions to be made, and they answered all my questions. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

They did a fabulous, high-quality job on the installation and finish work, paying close attention to every detail and leaving the property spotless. I couldn't be happier with how the house turned out and would highly recommend Monarch Construction to anyone looking for quality exterior work.

Job is still not complete. Have been back 6 times due to broken frames, broken locks, hard to open (sticky window's), and sealant around glass. The biggest reason I would not recommend Lifetime is because of the corporate office. From the start, the process was very disorganized. The sales person lied about what they would do. Their office regularly ignored or gave us terse answers. The project took a year from start to finish and all along the way I felt like I was the project manager - he was mostly absent. Around the 1 year mark, while we still had no completed permit, several known outstanding issues and no walk-through or sign-off they amazingly started emailing, calling and sending us threatening letters. I never knew they could communicate so well! I promptly responded, explaining my concerns and what I expected for them to receive the final payment. My emails went unanswered but a QA person kept calling my wife for some reason. Finally I was able to connect with him, and against my better judgement, I had a few phone calls with him. He promised to sort everything out and stop the threatening letters. The letters kept coming and yet nobody came to fix the problems. I kept responding in writing as I was now thinking we were going to have a legal showdown. After some more time, they finally called again (my wife, not me) and setup a time to come 'review the complaints'. In person, they were very nice and patient as we outlined all the outstanding work. Again, they verbally agreed to fix the issues and halt the nasty letters. I didn't hold my breath. After a few more weeks they did finally come back out and fix the issues. I have to say they did a decent job and overall the windows/doors look nice. Why they couldn't have done that in the first place I have no idea but the whole process left a sour taste in our mouth. Of course we immediately made the final payment and we haven't heard from them again - no apology, no check in. The process was a mess and the communication was horrible. I don't know why they even hire project managers because ours never showed and never got involved. And one 'master' installer was so sloppy and speedy that he ruined all the good work the other guys did.

We contacted Vivax and they sent out an estimator, Lily out within a couple days of my call. She was very knowledgeable and arrived exactly as scheduled. Since we needed trim replaced, Vivax sent out Niel Burnett, their Project Manager for wood repair and he inspected the house with me. He gave us a quote for replacing the damaged trim that was lower than several other quotes we received. His team came out and replaced all the damaged trim in one day and the price for this service was exactly as quoted. After the trim was replaced, Drew Vaaman, the Paint Project Manager came out and went over the painting process and verified that he knew exactly what colors we wanted to use. He scheduled his painting team led by crew Forman Joel for a couple days after he was at our home and contacted us the night before the painting was to begin just to make sure nothing had changed with our selection of colors. The paint team arrived on time and kept our property clean throughout the painting process. We had a final walk around with Drew after the work was done just to make sure we were happy with the results. We were not asked for any payment until we were satisfied with the work. The final cost was exactly as quoted. We are very pleased with how the painting turned out and our experience with the Vivax team.

I wanted to give a special shoutout to Isaiah (paint POC) and Wancy (crew foreman) for all they did to help the process go smoothly. Isaiah walked me through how the whole painting process was going to work, and he does a QA check at the end to touch up areas that I didn't even spot (or would probably not care that much about). He helped me understand the differences between paint products and warranties, and he just really wants the customer to be happy with the job. Wancy's crew worked really hard, even with some weather challenges--and showed up promptly at 7:00 AM every day for work a 10-12 hour day. The guys work really hard, and yes, you should absolutely feed your paint crew while they're working on your house. As for Vivax, it's not the cheapest. It might even be the most expensive, but there's a reason why you see so many Vivax signs in your neighborhood because they work they do is really good. At times, I didn't love the process--there are a lot of handoffs from sales to project manager to wood guy to paint crew, etc. This creates multiple opportunities for upsells and price adjustments, which can be unexpected, so I'd build in a little buffer from your original estimate because your salesperson is not the subject matter expert on any of the trades. The salesperson might say the crew can do something (like move a shed), but in reality, you need to do it yourself, but your salesperson is long gone by that point in the process. As a result, there are times where you might not know who your point of contact is, but that's where Isaiah really stepped up and played that role. Like we had an issue after the wood work was done, and Isaiah made sure we were taken care of. They do communicate with you, and things run VERY on time, but you will talk to about 4 more people than you might've expected. For some people, that might be good, but it would be a little simpler with a central point of contact. Regardless, when we're talking paint, the most important thing is the end result. Our house looks great. Isaiah, Wancy, and the crew worked really hard, and this is something that we will probably not have to do again for at least a decade. If you want the job done right and your house to look great, you can't go wrong with Vivax. Because painting your house is a huge investment, it might hurt your wallet a little more, but they'll make sure the job is done right.

Ended up feeling ripped off at the end of it all…read more The contract specified floor replacement, walls demo'd and rebuilt, and shower installation. The shower installation was acceptable. Everything else was subpar. The contractor did no drywalling, no baseboards, no caulking of the walls around the replaced floor or the new wall. Granted the contract did not specify finishing, but "replace a floor" and "demo and rebuild a wall" would imply so. I had to find others to do this finishing/drywalling, costing me more. And they did a horrible job on the floor replacement. They said they leveled it, but when you step on the newly installed LVT floor, there are dips all over the place and you feel like you are stepping into holes. Bad. To top it off, they put the washer and dryer back, which covered a 2" gap they missed on the floor. Shifty move there... This company needs to stick to just doing showers. Yeah yeah, I could have fought it and argued and hassled the contractors into doing it right. But I'd rather just move on and fix it myself. IF you hire this company, make damn sure you specify every little thing you expect them to do. Do not trust generalities and "best practices" and expect them to be professional. You will be disappointed. And may I add, the response you see from the company below is BS. It came immediately after posting, which tells me it's some AI junk. How lame. I am not going to waste my time with "Contact customer service and select Option 1" and arguing with your customer service agents. Want to make it right? SEND ME A CHECK for my time and effort in fixing this.

Overpriced, predatory interest rates, and an extremely high-pressure sales process…read more I was initially quoted $28,000 for a basic roof. I said no and walked away. I did not agree to the contract. However, the salesman continued using high-pressure sales tactics until my wife ultimately signed the contract despite my objections. Unfortunately, the problems continued after the sale. DaBella delivered the roofing materials about a month before the laborers were scheduled to begin work. There was no phone call or advance warning that the materials were being delivered. They simply showed up. Because the materials sat there for weeks before the work began, they were exposed to repeated rain. By my count, the plywood was rained on eight times, and the top two layers were visibly warped. That leaves me with legitimate concerns about moisture damage and potential mold in my attic. The crew also failed to use the proper ladder setup and destroyed the rain gutters I had installed and painted years ago. I have included a photo showing the damage. I came home one evening to find my kitchen light fixture filled with water. Removing the fixture caused it to break, and I had to mop up more than a gallon of water. The workers apparently could not figure out how to properly drain the swamp cooler reservoir. Imagine the amount of water still in the attic. And then there are the nails. I have found roofing nails scattered throughout the lawn, walkway, gutters, and other areas around the property. This is not the level of cleanup I would expect from a "professional" roofing company. The combination of the high-pressure sales tactics, extremely expensive financing, premature delivery of materials, property damage, water intrusion, and inadequate cleanup has left me very disappointed. I expected a "professional" roofing company to make this process easier, not create additional problems and expenses for the homeowner. I cannot recommend DaBella based on my experience.

The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.
