My issue was resolved after Lifetime Windows remeasured the opening and adding 1/2" to overall height around November 2022. Now, the window is the correct size (see photos). There is no extra "trim coil" at the top to fill the opening. (note: some trim coil is required around any window frame along with insulation and sealant.) I am updating my rating to 4/5 to account for the trouble I had convincing them this was the right thing to do. Kudos to Lifetime Windows for ultimately replacing this at their expense. I will report the same to the BBB. FYI, nobody asked me to update my review. I only want to be fair and complete. The windows they sold me are very nice. The window itself was never in question; just a problem with my measure and install. read more

We did a very big project with Lifetime. The quality of workmanship was more on the positive side although some bad apples ruined it for the rest. The biggest reason I would not recommend Lifetime is because of the corporate office. From the start, the process was very disorganized. The sales person lied about what they would do. Their office regularly ignored or gave us terse answers. The project took a year from start to finish and all along the way I felt like I was the project manager - he was mostly absent. Around the 1 year mark, while we still had no completed permit, several known outstanding issues and no walk-through or sign-off they amazingly started emailing, calling and sending us threatening letters. I never knew they could communicate so well! I promptly responded, explaining my concerns and what I expected for them to receive the final payment. My emails went unanswered but a QA person kept calling my wife for some reason. Finally I was able to connect with him, and against my better judgement, I had a few phone calls with him. He promised to sort everything out and stop the threatening letters. The letters kept coming and yet nobody came to fix the problems. I kept responding in writing as I was now thinking we were going to have a legal showdown. After some more time, they finally called again (my wife, not me) and setup a time to come 'review the complaints'. In person, they were very nice and patient as we outlined all the outstanding work. Again, they verbally agreed to fix the issues and halt the nasty letters. I didn't hold my breath. After a few more weeks they did finally come back out and fix the issues. I have to say they did a decent job and overall the windows/doors look nice. Why they couldn't have done that in the first place I have no idea but the whole process left a sour taste in our mouth. Of course we immediately made the final payment and we haven't heard from them again - no apology, no check in. The process was a mess and the communication was horrible. I don't know why they even hire project managers because ours never showed and never got involved. And one 'master' installer was so sloppy and speedy that he ruined all the good work the other guys did. read more

Communication is very poor and seems to only happen when initiated by the customer. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Ordered a whole house of windows through Costco October 2025. Job is still not complete. Have been back 6 times due to broken frames, broken locks, hard to open (sticky window's), and sealant around glass. Told they don't clean windows during installation , that's the customers responsibility. Lifetime has been accommodating with service calls, but most of them could have been avoided. My experience is not what I expected from Costco, Marvin and Lifetime. read more

I'm a longtime Lifetime customer. They replaced all 40 of my windows, my doors, and patio doors. I'm told I'm a "top 10" client. Earlier this year, it was time to replace our front door (the end of my projects). When we finally made our selection, we took advantage of one of their great financing opportunities. When the installation was complete, we noticed that the glass insert was not quite level. We measured again and again - yes, it was off. We called our salesperson, Eric. He said to send him the pics. Never heard from him again. I called customer service. They said they got the pics from George. Never heard from them again either. Finally got a call from Mike. He said he was our project manager. I said I didn't know we had one - you were never at my house. He said he spoke with upper management, and if I didn't release full payment immediately, that Lifetime would never honor any of my warranties again. If I did release payment, they would handle my issue through warranty immediately. I reluctantly released payment. It's been 10 months now - no one has ever reached back out for anything. First I want to say I have not had them do anything on my home, this review is only about customer service. We had someone come out a month ago for windows, he spent about 10 minutes with us since we would not commit and we had serious sticker shock with the amount he said it may be. Then today 2 guys came to my house to sell me siding, I told them I was not interested they proceeded to tell me there is a new mandate that requires I update my siding to be fire resistant. There is a mandate going in effect in July I believe but it's only for new builds and remodels. They were rude, persistent and did not leave easily. A representative came over and asked what my budget for the project was, and I automatically saw his deameanor change when I told him the number. We went through the motions of measuring, choosing hardware, etc. and his price for me was $20,000.00. I got a nice chuckle out of that, and he was not too happy. He calculated some new numbers and got it down to $16,000.00, which I was not going to do either. In the end he made the statement that maybe I could afford to find someone who would do the job for a 6 pack of beer. Ummm! Racist much??? That was beyond unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate. Beware, I had 2 shower renovations done. For one of them the pea trap was cracked and leaked into kitchen. Had to deal with that repair. Please note even though they were caused the damage read their contract they don't pay for painting of ceiling. The second shower's shower pan was measured wrong and had to wait another 3 weeks. They do okay with cookie cutter showers, but not custom. Gave a gift card for issues for $250, but card received was for $200 and said Happy Anniversary?? Reached out to salesman Steffan, but ghosted me. Then a month ago had issue with shower handle not working. Called service department 5 times and left message about issue. No response so I pretended I wanted a quote on the main phone number and of course I got to speak to a live person; Rowland. Explained issue and was told he was going to transfer me to the Service Manager's direct cell phone. Left a message about my issue and it has now been 2 weeks and no call back. Lifetime was recommended to me by a contractor performing some major renovations to my home. I wanted to replace my great room and bedroom windows with large sliders. I met with the salesperson who made the process very easy from the start. He made some recommendations based on the information I provided and did not try to oversell me on anything. The price quote was reasonable and I was even able to use my credit card - which never happens with contractors without an additional fee. They over-delivered with the time estimate, as the entire job was complete a month sooner than promised, which was a nice surprise. The installation itself was great. The workers were all very nice and meticulous. They put down carpet runners, covered my furniture and completed the entire job in two days. I received exactly what was promised. Communication was great throughout. From measuring, ordering, status updates on ordering, scheduling on days the weather was suppose to be nice (January, brrr), and final installation. I live in a log home that presented some unique challenges, but they sent the lead installer who has lots of experience with log homes and everything went great. They sent all my installation and warranty information via email. The entire process as a pleasure; including the followup emails and phone calls I've received. All I ever ask for is realistic expectations and they provided all of that and more. Thanks to the great team at Lifetime! Photos shown are during and after job complete. Sorry no before photos. We had lifetime do our windows and James Hardie siding after the last storm. Although the siding looks great and they did a good job, the siding people used the wrong shade of caulking. It wasn't noticed until a few months later and now thats all we see is the caulking marks and where he wiped his fingers! The windows were just the common sliders and we started having problems closing and locking them. We had a repairman come out and told us that he needed to have someone who is more qualified come out to fix them. He got his boss on the phone and it was decided to just lock the window in place in hopes that it will settle into place. Not sure I agree with that decision. I bought my windows in January 2025. The windows were installed a few months later. One had a broken frame. Came back to replace it, looking at all windows they said my kitchen window is broken. It needs replaced. They shoved paperwork at me to sign for the job completion. I wouldn't sign it since they had to reorder and replace another window. Now they are threatening me with collections if I don't sign a completion form. They say it's not covered under warranty. It broke on the frame at install. The finance company has told me not to sign anything until my windows are all installed and correct. Mike will call and tell me he will come out and look at the job, get the stucco guy out here to fix the damage caused by the installer..blah blah blah....never shows up. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. The windows are beautiful, the customer service is very ugly! Buy your windows from someone who cares about the customer. We just spent (or will be paying off) a LOT of money to have our old vinyl siding removed and replaced with Hardie Board. I was referred by a friend who gave rave reviews of the company - having used them before. The sales process was good, even with the sticker shock - but we were informed that the only way to properly do the project was to get the house down to the studs in order to re-insulate it and wrap the house in a protective barrier. We were told the project would take 2 to 2.5 weeks. This project is not for the faint of heart. My house was a disaster zone for 3 weeks. Nails and screws in the driveway, in my gardens, trash spread throughout my 1/4 acre backyard and in my gardens in the front yard. Electrical lines were moved and not replaced, hence them hanging down the side of my house now. 2 different window screens were damaged and haven't been replaced and our new driveway was cracked by the guy who put the dumpster on it. Our grass was killed in multiple places from the equipment, garbage, etc - being left in one place for too long. Materials placed in the street had to be gathered up by my husband as they were not piled up but spreading into the actual street we live on. Communication was wonky. We went on vacation for a week to escape the mess and on Thursday received a text from the project manager that the project would be 100% complete the next day - Friday. We came home on Sunday to a bigger mess than we had before we left. Soda cans everywhere, trash and debris everywhere - no dumpster in the driveway just trash piled up next the the porta potty that was placed literally in the middle of the driveway. It took multiple calls to get someone to come pick up the rest of the trash and other items left behind. I was seriously depressed to find my home in that condition. Not a fun thing to come home to. Basically - we paid an insane amount of money and I feel the level of service did not match up. While I like the finished product - it came with so much destruction that part of me wishes we hadn't done it. But I guess we can think about that fact for the next 2 years while we pay it off. read more

My complaint with the BBB has been open for 10 days with no response from the company. The representative that commented to my review said her service manager would call has not. I will reach out to her today but it appears 2 weeks later that they have no intention of rectifying the situation. The sales person who I originally reached out to has gone silent. So my initial conclusions appear correct - once they have your money, they're done with you. With so many other window companies out there why bother with these guys? Have you been to a home show this past year? I passed at least 5 other companies that service Northern Colorado. I probably should have gone with the smaller company in Loveland. From beginning to end this has been a disaster. we spent over 20k on 10 windows. install was a mess. After waiting months for installation the crew showed up, ripped out our old windows and began installing windows we did not order. A supervisor came to the site, acknowledgEd that they ordered the wrong ones but it would take another month to get the correct ones. So they installed the wrong ones and we waited. Waited while the house looked awful. Paint all messed up, huge plaster chunks missing where they ripped the old windows out. Over a month later they returned with the correct windows. Installed those but didn't have the right guys to finish the details. So paint was still missing around all the sills and big holes of plaster left everywhere. The crew said someone would return that week to finish. That never happened. I had to call multiple times to get ANYONE to call us back. Finally I spoke to someone who scheduled a supervisor and a crew to come out and finish the job. Weeks later, mind you so the house still looked like garbage. Appointment was scheduled and I waited. And waited and was stood up. I go through this whole process again. Everyone is very nice and very sorry. I make plans to come back a day early from a weekend vacation to the mountains To meet the guy who is going to finish the job. I am stood up again. At this point I am furious. I call. They are so sorry. They send a guy out a week later who is so nice and tells me the company is in trouble. They can't keep people. They are so far behind. He is so sorry. He finishes the job. Finally. Months later. to add insult to injury they start the time on the loan from the day of the first botched install and I cannot get a call back from anyone to remedy this situation. we are owed 4 months time on the repayment of the loan. And finally. Today. November 24th 2023, I am sitting next to my new windows and the draft is just as bad as when we had the old, original windows. I'm freezing. It's snowing. It's 20 degrees outside, and these windows suck. Or the install was botched which is probably the more likely of the 2 possibilities. This has been the most unprofessional and miserable transaction I have ever experienced. My 20-year-old house needed new windows in the primary bedroom. I had significant noise issues due to trains doing overnight maintenance nearby every night and interviewed 4 firms to replace my windows. As per Lifetime Window's marketing materials- * Expertly installed -Our team of professionals will ensure your new windows are properly installed the first time. As my lawyer explains, a misrepresentation is a false statement of a material fact made by one party which affects the other party's decision in agreeing to a contract * This was BLATANT Misrepresentation o Lifetime's sales agent, Keron Singh's false statements caused me to choose Lifetime Windows over the competition o "Easy one day professional installation" was a deciding factor for me o He also stated these windows are designed for noise reduction. o Lifetime Windows did not deliver what they promised. Professional one day installation and noise reduction was part of that promise. * Job completed after 29 days for a "one day job" * This WAS NOT the "Easy One Day Installation" I had been promised * I never would have contracted Lifetime if they honestly told me the job would take 29 days * Even after the 1st day debacle, at no time was my project made a priority. Had a sliding door replaced a couple months ago and the install looks like a child did it. Mismatched colors on hardware, door is not level, screen door is not seated correctly, screws put in where no holes were in the frame that called for screws, poor caulking job, they cut part of the frame to get the new door in and did not cover up the area before cutting and i had saw dust EVERYWHERE. The project manager Anthony came by during the install and told the installers everything looked great. I called Anthony to discuss my concerns the next day. He was going to come out and we scheduled a time. He never arrived for the appointment. I called him to find out what was going on and he said he had a person matter that came up and was sorry for not letting us know. Hhe finally came out another day and said the install was horrible and said they fired the installers. Then he said we needed to have a whole new frame put in and all new hardware. He said he would place the order the following Monday. Fast forward, we didn't hear anything from him for two weeks and I called and texted him on 9/30/24 asking for an update. Several days later someone else named Mike called and told us Anthony was no longer with the company and would be taking over. We set a schedule for today at 9:00am and Mike did not show and we did not get a call saying he would not be coming. Just got a call from him in the last hour 12:00pmish and wanting to reschedule. He gave me a reason that there was a personal matter he had come up (sound familiar?). I get things come up but twice we have been "ghosted" by two different peope. Now we can't meet with Mike for two weeks because we are not available until then. The amount of hours I lost waiting for people to show up twice and not show up is unacceptable and my cost of time is way more than the cost of the new door! At this point, this company should fix the problems and pay me for my time lost or write off the cost of the door. The product is great but this has been a disaster of an experience with this company! We had planned to replace several windows through them but we will probably go with another company because of this experience of just one door! Initial installation was mostly good but there was one framing piece over our front door that was too short and not stained on the ends. This was in April. Since then we have called at least 5 times. Were told that a fixed piece was ready to be installed. Had to CALL THEM at least 5 more times to get the piece here. When it finally arrived the piece WASN'T STAINED!!!! I have very mixed feelings about our experience with LifeTime windows. The quality of the windows themselves is adequate, and I cannot sing high enough praises of the team that came and installed our windows. They arrived and knocked the install out out in less than two hours. Their pricing is high, for our 1 bedroom ground level condo we paid $12k for a total of 9 standard sized windows. This was ultimately less than $1k less than Renewal by Anderson Windows (which are generally the most expensive). Dave, our sales rep, was very friendly. He initially offered us a 24 month same as cash financing option. We expressed our concerns about having new accounts added to our credit report and how that would effect our credit rating when we went to buy a home in 3-6 months. At that point, Dave advised us to go with their 12 month option instead. He claimed that it wouldn't even appear on our credit report until after it had been paid off, at which point it would simply show up as a paid installment loan well after we had purchased our new home. This was exactly what we needed and we decided that, despite the higher price and somewhat lower quality window (compared to others of the same price), LifeTime's financing option added the most value for our situation. This did not line up with my experience with virtually any previous loan or financing option, so I was very skeptical about how this would work. Despite Dave's reassurance, we repeatedly reconfirmed this information with Krista in finance on three separate occasions. Each time we were reassured that it would not show up until the end of the 12 month period. Two weeks after our install was completed, my husband and I both received notifications that a new installment loan had been entered onto our credit reports, and subsequently we are now having to buy down our interest rate at a cost of $6,400 to get to our previous qualified rate on our new home. I reached out to Krista at Lifetime, who immediately said that we must have misunderstood the 4 different conversations we had with Lifetime about this and that it's only held off of our credit for 6-8 WEEKS until the job is complete. We found this very frustrating due to the fact that we had done our due diligence and clarified this on multiple occasions before the windows were installed, and the 6-8 week hold off added no value to our situation. Had we known, we would have gone another direction entirely. One of two things is absolutely true of Lifetime Windows and siding: 1. They lie to their customers and mislead them to close a sale and then deny deny deny after the fact about things they previously said. OR 2. They care so little about actively listening to their customers questions and unwittingly mislead them by saying "yes" to whatever questions is asked of them without carefully listening and considering what is being asked. In this case, at a real cost of $6,400.00. Their uncaring attitude along with poor listening and communication skills have really set us back, and there were multiple opportunities for them to set the record straight. They added virtually no value and clearly have little to no concern when it comes to truly helping their customers with tailored solutions. I was referred to Lifetime by a close friend who is also my real estate agent. I let her know what happened and she was appalled. She has reassured us that while she has referred multiple clients to Lifetime before, she will no longer do so and will warn all the other agents she works with in the Cherry Creek HomeSmart office against sending clients to this company in the future. In 2015 I got our windows replaced in our house by Lifetime Windows . It has taken us 3 years to get 2 windows replaced. They no longer do business with the company that made our windows so somehow or another this is our fault. I put in a claim in July of 2021, and after a year of trying to convince them that it's not our fault that they no longer do business with that company, they finally decided to get the windows repaired. In November of 2023 they fixed 1 window and said the other window was not made correctly and had to get another replacement, they finally got the replacement and guess what, they have to get another because of a flaw in the new one! PLEASE PLEASE be careful if you did or are planning on doing business with this company. At this point, I will pay to have any other windows fixed in my home. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Horrible experience! The Marvin infinity is not what I was expecting and Lifetime's customer service is nonexistent. I feel as if they only care about the sale and leave their customers with a subpar installation and product, and don't stand behind their warranty. So, salesman Chad said their windows could match trim and the other Renewal by Anderson windows we had...it did not.. So we had to repaint other windows and trim to match windows. Salesman Chad said that included in price, removal and replacement of shudders was included. Mark, project manager said not written in contract. Paid more money for that. Second contractors that come to paint new trim and outside trim mismatch paint colors. Has to be repainted . I get an email from them TODAY, (installed june 6) (and today is Sept 18th) that I need to register my new windows within 60 days of install to have full warranty, along with all of the other information I was apparently supposed to get for warranty, care of new windows and what to expect for condensation..they finally got around to sending me this information...Guess what, Marvin says I can't register my windows since I'm out of the 60 days but yet I JUST GOT THE EMAIL TODAY (over 90 days past)...so office intentionally with held this information so that I no longer have the full warranty. Lastly, got a call from project manager today who stated that they misapplied our credit card payment and it went to another account so our account was left open. DO NOT USE this business!! Horribly managed business. Window order was botched and came up 4 short, and another 2 were wrong size. One month after having 40 others replaced, still awaiting the two correct windows, and more importantly repair of exterior stucco and interior wall and window sill damage from the install. Water leak continues. Erroneous invoice amount still not corrected. Given conflicting information about supplement request to insurance company. Contacted sales, customer service, and CEO multiple times each. Reached the point where we are having to do repair work ourselves. So much promised on the front end, and so little delivered on the back end. read more
