Colorado Classic Exteriors was by far the best choice out there for our custom built pergola. Everyone was great, installation was a breeze and we could not be any happier with how it turned out. For not much more money, we opted to go with aluma-wood, which is zero maintenance and you do not need to re-stain every few years. Call them today!!

Ken followed up with me the same day I had made my quote inquiry online and was able to come to our home within a day or two to come give us a quote. There were so many design options to choose from but Ken made the process super easy and helped guide us through and we had a quote within minutes! Ken was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish, fantastic communication and professionalism. He completed the install within two days. Our new security door is beautiful, compliments the aesthetic of our existing door (including a built in wreath hook!), and the quality exceeded our expectations! We're very happy with our new door and would highly recommend Secure-All Security Doors!

Now understand, Secure All doors aren't cheap! They are the best door you can buy. I know. I owned another home a few years back in Denver and I bought 2 doors for that home also. I don't drop this much dough on a whim. You won't be disappointed in the doors or service. You will be a little poorer. These aren't Home Depot doors, you're not going to find these at Lowe's or Ace Hardware, these are Premium Security Doors not cheap junk! They do look great too!

He felt both genuine and knowledgeable, and that proved out over the quoting process and engagement. While the wait for our windows took a little longer than we had hoped, Mike was really responsive and when the window did arrive installation was scheduled immediately. I'd wholeheartedly work with them again and recommend them to others!

After getting four quotes, I came to realize that each company pretty much has one type of siding they recommend and install. For one company we interviewed it was LP (engineered wood), for two companies it was Hardie (fiber cement), and for the last company, Superior Industries, it was a material we hadn't heard of before: Gentek ALIGN Composite Cladding (aka Alside ASCEND Composite Cladding). I was initially skeptical because I hadn't come across it in my research. How good could it be? Turns out, amazing. Really glad I called Mike to come take a look, as otherwise we would have ended up spending a lot more to get a not-quite-as-good product. Superior Industries replaced all of our siding, soffits, and facia, and aluminum-wrapped all new trim boards for us. They did precise, high-quality work and it really shows. Communication was good throughout and the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. Mike only has a couple teams, so these guys have been with him for many years and really know their stuff. They listened to everything I had to say, they consulted me when there were any decisions to be made, and they answered all my questions. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

Colorado Door Connection - Our original door frame is now ruined by their small frame to fill the gaps from miss measuring the custom doors to fit our exact dimensions

The second job they did was to replace two very very old doors in my basement, with beautiful wooden doors and storm/security doors. The last time I used them was to replace an odd shaped door, adding another security door to the outside. The quality of workmanship these guys do is the best. I made the mistake of hiring a 'construction/contractor (Black River) to do other work, along with ONE exterior door installation, and I'm sorry that I didn't have Col. Door Connection do the door install.. there are gaps under the door large enough for light to come thru... next time i will ONLY use Colorado Door Connection. They are great about putting beautiful doors on old houses like mine (1947), and installing them so they're weather tight. you might have to wait a bit for special order Simpson doors, and finishing, but you won't regret the quality. Highly recommended.

This was and continues to be the WORST service experience of my life. I've never written a bad…read morereview online, but this situation needs to be shared. I'd highly discourage anyone to ever work with CO Door Connection based off the experience we had. We worked with CO Door Connection to install custom french doors inside our beautiful home. It was a nightmare from the beginning -- I should have known better and moved on. I've outlined the timeline of major events below. - August 3rd: we put 50% down ($664.88) over the phone as a deposit for our custom doors. Total quoted job = $1,329.76 (this number is a key piece of the conclusion). - August 18th: sub contractor named Michael Mulvaney comes and measures the custom door frame, to which he reported back to Alex. - August 18th through September 12th: I called and emailed dozens of times to ask for an update on when our door would be complete. Many times I was ignored and other times I was told "we'll get back to you". Finally, 4 weeks later, we were told our custom french door was ready. - September 18th: Michael Mulvaney shows back up to install the custom french doors. Half way through the installation I asked why he was installing a small frame inside our already beautiful door frame? to be clear, the job was to install custom doors to the exact measurements of our existing door frame (pictures below). Michael's explanation was that the doors weren't an exact measurement and they needed to frame it out to fit inside our existing frame... How is this a custom job?! The door was never cut to the custom measurements of our door frame. Alex's excuse over several phone calls changed each time. Excuse 1: Michael must have measured incorrectly. Excuse 2: I rushed them to get the job done ASAP so they weren't able to cut them down in time. Excuse 3: "we never knew you had a door frame that already existed, so we always planned to frame it ourselves. Excuse 4: we always frame around the doors. When I told Alex I was going to hire someone to come fix their mistakes he said, and I quote: "ok, have the contractor do that if you want this to look like shit in 5 years". - October 22nd: we receive an email stating; "we've tried send you several emails and phone calls with no response. You owe us the remaining balance of this job". This was the first outreach we'd received about the remaining balance. - October 22nd: I respond by telling them this job is incomplete and wrong from the get go. We'd need to hire a new contractor to attempt to fix the mistakes made by CO Door Connection. - October 23rd: I receive an email reminding me of the total amount owed, to which I responded to by stating my lack of desire to pay off the remaining balance in full. - October 23rd: they respond by saying they actually gave us a discount!! "If you review the invoice attached you will see that you were only charged for 1 of the 2 doors that we ordered, saving you $722.60 for the actual doors. You will also see that you were not charged for pre-hanging the doors, which is an additional $250.00 savings. We've eaten the cost of one of the two doors and the cost of pre-hanging the unit, saving you a total of $972.60. This is a huge discount and we're trying our best to be fair, your final bill should've been $1,637.48 but we only ask for the $664.88 because of the issues that have occurred." These numbers were never quoted at the beginning. We had agreed the total job would cost $1,329.76. It's also clear an admission of a bad job when they state "because of the issues that have occurred." - October 26th: we received a notice of intent to file a lien on our property. They've now resorted to bully tactics to collect money on a job that was incorrect from the beginning (miss measured the 'custom door', bad install, horrible customer service and follow up). End-to-end the worst experience I've ever had related to the service industry. I will never recommend anyone to work with CO Door Connection for any type of job.

We found great reviews for JDI Windows. Rex, the owner, came out to do an estimate, and it sounded reasonable. His service manager Casey came out to measure. He estimated 6 weeks for the door to arrive. 6 weeks later on the dot, the installation took place. All appointments were scheduled and conducted on time with highly competent, efficient and friendly employees. Casey and Mark arrived, covered the work area and carpet, and two hours later we had a new smooth operating, clear see-thru, sturdy sliding glass door in place. We were very pleased with the door, the cost, and the entire installation process. JDI Windows is highly recommended. 10 Stars. JDI WINDOWS 720 427-4477 Thank you!

Extreme disappointment regarding the quality and installation of the 18 Simonton windows I…read morepurchased from JDI. The overall product quality is unsatisfactory, and the installation was subpar. I continue to experience drafts and excessive noise through all the windows. The amount of noise I receive from planes (I live nowhere near an airport) and cars is crazy; it was never like this with my old builder grade windows. Furthermore, the caulking is very sloppy. The owner said he was ok with the work and threatened to place a lien on my property the day after the windows were installed if I didn't pay, even though I was not satisfied. Following the owner's suggestion, I completed a Home Energy Audit. I have attached a few photos from that audit which clearly demonstrate significant temperature differences. I have also attached videos demonstrating the air leakage using a fog machine.(I can't attach all the pictures and videos I have and would be happy to share) After I called the troubleshooter radio show, the owner sent a crew to insulate three of the windows that I felt were the worst (which helped a little). I was then asked to pay for the insulation of the remaining windows. It is unclear why new windows would be installed without proper spray foam insulation in the first place. Additionally, two of the windows still do not close or lock correctly, even after the sashes were replaced twice. Given my significant investment, this has been a regrettable experience.
