We chose a Planet Solar and Roofing to come install a new roof in our home and it was THE absolute best choice, hands down!!! We had Wes come out to our home and check everything out for us. He made the entire process for us with our insurance SO EASY and the entire process went flawlessly. I was confused with how some of the process went and Wes took the time to answer any and all questions. He kicked ass From the beginning of planning on adding an extra vent, getting class 4 shingles ( at a special with no extra charge -making our insurance premium go dow- say whatttt???), to the workers coming to our house and working so fast! We even left a cooler with ice and water for the workers. When we came home, they returned our cooler to us empty, dry, and cleaned. Seriously- how awesome was that of them Our roof looks amazing and our house looks updated and like a total facelift was given! When I finally found some licensed roofers, getting a quote or responses was a challenge. Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors was the most professional and responsive. They gave me time frames for coming out to do the estimate and delivered within that time frame. They sent the estimate in a timely fashion and quoted far less for the repair than the other companies--and those companies took far longer to do the estimate and didn't seem interested in my small job. Since my repair was not urgent, they let me know they'd call when they planned to be in the neighborhood for other work and would swing by for our repair. They did just that, calling the day before and giving us a four-hour window the next day. Crew members came by about 1/2 hour into that window and were done rather quickly. I'll definitely call them again if I need roof work.

I've had some problems with the gutters and paint work. The gutter contractor did come out and take a look at the gutters and attempted to fix the issue I was having. I would NOT hire this company to do any painting on the exterior of your home. I would recommend hiring a separate contractor for that. I've had problems from day one with the paint work. I finally gave up even going back to them to have them address the paint issues. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the painters stole a large light blue crystal that I had in my back yard called amazonite. It is irreplaceable and it is something I found while hiking. One of the younger men was helping me move furniture off of the deck and literally gasped when he saw the crystal. I didn't think much of it at the time but it went missing after all the work was done. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until much later because I was caught up in having all this work done to my home and dealing with the issues. I'm very upset about that because it's something I can never replace. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for a irreplaceable item being stolen and the issues I had with the paint work.

It turns out Mike has the exact TV I wanted mounted in the living room. He told me I had some pieces of hardware missing, but I knew I had them in a box in storage, so I would have to go get them. Tyler and Mike had family trips planned for the following week, and they offered to come back during vacation to finish the job. I told them that wasn't necessary, and they came back the week after. I put off doing the roof as long as I could but this spring, I could wait no more. I found Altitude Contracting here on Yelp, but they were also recommended by my Allstate agent as well. I called them and Kyle Schroder the owner got right back with me to set up a time to come look at the house. He came and gave us an estimate and then went to work to help me file a claim with Allstate. As it turns out, Allstate was pretty hard to work with and Kyle went above and beyond to get Allstate to pay what they should. Once we were able to get Allstate on board, Kyle and company went to work. While it took 3 months to get Allstate to pay, it only took Altitude ONE DAY to do the roof from start to finish. They not only replaced the felt and shingles, but also the vent covers, flashing and all the other metal. It looked FABULOUS and when I looked around at the end of the day, you absolutely could not tell they had been there other than having great looking shingles. No trash, no debris, no nails or screws left behind to get in your tires. Perfect job. Now, they absolutely were NOT the cheapest (I had gotten quotes for up to 2000.00 less). However, I have had several roofs done over the years at various properties and Altitude was the fastest and most professional roofing company I have ever worked with. I hope not to need a roof again for several years, if ever. However if I do, I will definitely use Altitude Contracting again. You will not go wrong with these guys!!
