I purchased windows less than one year ago and want others to beware of the product service department. We are in the middle of a snow storm and my window is jammed open. Second time in less than 6 months this window has malfunctioned in an extreme way. Window Nation is fairly new to the Colorado area, so last year when service was needed a call back from their service department happened within 24 hours and service was taken care of within 7 days. Now its 7-10 business days (by automated text notification) that I will hear back to schedule for future service. Very unreasonable time frame to get service scheduled for a future date. I called and asked for Window Nation president name and they refused! I was going to write a letter expressing my regrets with buying windows from Window Nation and lack of reasonable time frame to speak with them about my issue. I do not recommend purchasing from Window Nation due to their unsatisfactory warranty service. The window remains open and unlocked until a service technician is scheduled. UPDATE: 2:15 P.M. Technician arrived at my door directed by the branch manager to close/fix my window. Took him less than two minutes. I asked why he arrived so quickly and he told me it was the phone calls, etc. I made. I changed my rating from 1 to 3. Although they could've had a five had my request been taken seriously from the beginning. The Technician "reset" my window and showed me how to handle it in the future.​ read more

The third tech that came out to actually put metal not some sticky stuff which should be for the inside only, they put it on the outside. Because of this water was getting into the window, and the house.​ Then the installers over a year ago did not put the insulation around the sliding patio door. I should have went with Anderson they did a great job on our front door should have just had them do the windows for the extra 5k. read more

Got two windows, everything was quick & service was good. Decided to order a sliding door from them a couple weeks later and that's where everything went sour. Took longer than expected for the door to come in and for safety reasons we needed the door replaced as soon as possible. When I called to ask if I could get a refund of my deposit so we could just install a door from Home Depot since ours wasn't in yet, I was told yes. So we went to Home Depot and were able to install the sliding door ourselves. however when I called to follow up about the deposit a month later, I was told they would not be refunding my deposit and actually I owed them money. Our sliding glass door is a standard size, it's nothing out of the ordinary so there should be no reason they can't resell that door. Especially after I was told my deposit would be refunded. it's now three months since I've heard from any representative. I have emailed and called multiple times. I keep getting told someone will call me or reach out to me and no one ever does. Pretty crappy way to do business! Especially since we have five more windows we need to replace later this year. The right thing to do would be to at least compromise on giving me some of my deposit back or issue some kind of official response but to just ignore me is ridiculous & completely unprofessional. OK, from the very beginning this went badly. The salesman came out and worked up our replacement windows needed and cost to do so. The only reason I called them was because of the 0% interest for 2 years, the 50% off pricing and everything they advertise on the radio and television. He worked up the price which means at 50% off I would have been installing nearly $90K worth of windows. What I find out is the good ole bait and switch. When he got the price down to where I no longer required a Heimlich maneuver, I signed the contract only to find out that the pricing was not based on 2 years at 0% interest. The salesman pulled that option in order to give me a better/best price! Now Window Nation does not carry their own financing, they send you to a finance company to get approved at nearly 10% interest and no grace period! So why would you pull the 0 percent financing from me? (Strike 1). I have been paying for Windows that were not completed or installed over a 3 month period. I have been waiting for the corrected windows that were ordered wrong and had to be replaced! (Strike 2). The installers came out on 3 different occasions, but did not have the correct windows, equipment, or manpower to replace what they had been scheduled to replace! The actual installation was sloppy! Glue all over the trim, windows, concrete patio, and poor/incomplete caulking. (Strike 3!) Use these guys at your own risk, but beware of the bait and switch on their programs! I didn't hire this company, but my neighbor across the street did but I got to experience the nature of their employees. I frequently have a problem with my neighbor's contractors parking in front of my house and either completely or partially blocking my driveway. This particular neighbor is a repeat offender and won't manage their contractors at all. I asked the installer who drives a white Toyota Tundra if he would please move his truck a couple feet forward just to give me a little more room to access or back out of my driveway. He proceeds to give me lip service about it as he's walking towards his pickup. I responded "why can't you just be nice and do it with giving me lip service about it?" He responded with a tirade, through his hands in the air, said I "don't own the street", turned around and said he's not moving it. Then he and his team continued to berate me and crack jokes in Spanish. I called Window Nation, spoke to a woman who was cordial, described what occurred and that I wanted this punk to move his vehicle. She said she'd report it to his manager and took my contact information. Nothing was done. The installers talk about me and laugh when I come out of my house. Ok, little boys. You just cost your company thousands of dollars. Not only will I not solicit a quote from this company for the 5 windows I'll be replacing soon, but everyone I know will hear about this and you'll lose their business as well. They came in and bid the whole house, 15 windows and 2 patio doors. Then they asked that sign a contract to lock in the pricing, but said that we could get out of the contract within 72 hours. I reached out to the sales person less then 48 hours later to change the order as I only wanted to replace the windows on the front of the house. They did not get back to me for nearly another 48 hours and the updated bid was not for the windows that I wanted, but for windows are told them I was absolutely not interested in. When I said I did not feel comfortable moving forward due to the delay and lack of listening to my requests and needs and wanted time to think it over, I was told I signed a contract and would have to move forward with the original bid. I expressed again that I was not comfortable with the way it was going and was told it didn't matter and had to proceed because the time had expired. I have contacted the sales office in Aurora and they seem to be more approachable then the sales person was, but we will see. Beware of the pressure tactics and deceptive sales techniques. So Far - NOT Happy- they offer 0% interest and half off - Even with excellent credit - we did not get that deal! Also, they ordered cloud glass for 2 windows in the front of our house bay window and said that's what we chose! Seriously?? When one spends tens of thousands, you'd expect themto stand by their company and make things right. Still waiting for them to come and do a quality check after installation - which should be standard!. The installers tell you not to open the windows/dliding doors for 24 hours after installation. Then after 24 hours you check everything and find that the locks do not properly engage, or 'sticky' sliding doors and windows. Come on man! I would appreciate some feedback please! read more

I bought seven windows from Window Nation about a month ago. The windows are great but the installation was a nightmare. The installation team (Jose) didn't show up for the scheduled date and time for installation. WN called an hour after they should have arrived to tell me they can't make it due to "technical difficulties". Ha! We rescheduled for a few days later and the team showed up over an hour late. They seemed professional at first but they did a horrible job! They painted the trim and it was a disaster. To be fair, WN did agree to return to do a better job but I no longer trusted them. Two window locks were broken before they even left but didn't fix. I made another appointment to get the locks fixed and the repair man didn't show up for two different appointments! Then he just dropped by one morning wanting to fix the locks. Find another company! read more
