An update, less than a year later. We were so happy with the product and install they did on a substandard window in our 1978 addition, we did another failed window this spring. Again, the design team was great as we planned to change the use to a picture window with a view of the Boulder foothills. It was such a high wind and hail location, we almost never opened it and the old wood was mostly destroyed in a hail storm last fall. It came in 2 months early from Marvin ( how often does that happen these days ?) and the team installed today. It was on a second story of a house with a sloped yard. Not even a challenge for these guys. Real pros and were done by lunchtime after arriving right in time this morning. We couldn't be happier with the whole process and the result. read more

3 years ago we had a house built, and immediately had trouble with sliding glass doors not sealing correctly and letting in cold and noise. We contacted the builder, who had gone out of business. He referred us to the window vendor, Signature Windows. Signature has been out here repeatedly and tried so damned hard to get these doors corrected. They asked the manufacturer for help, who did nothing. Finally, they sent their technicians to the manufacturer for training. The technician then came out to our house and FIXED THE DOORS! It is difficult to think of another contractor who would go above and beyond like Signature did. Thanks to Bruce and Tom and everyone at Signature for finally getting this right! read more

Recommend replacing Windows and doors from Solarglass! Had all my builders grade vinyl windows and patio doors replaced in my home with Marvin Integrity line. Received another bid for the same windows and the other company was $2000 higher. Boy the difference in sound, heat transfer, and overall look of Windows is very noticeable. Neighbors have already commented how good they look! I agree they are a stand out. Jason and Oshon were great thru the whole install process and it does show that they really care about their work. They were on time, courteous, and do good work. Another shot out to sales rep Bobby, everything was ordered to my satisfaction and everything was confirmed in person so that ask the details were perfect. read more

Im having difficulty understanding why this company is still in business. After our experiences with them, I'm positive that we can't be the only customers that feel the same way, so read on and decide for yourself... Our first few discussions with Terry were very positive and reassuring. He has incredible sales skills and knows his products quite well. In fact,our decision to go with solar glass was based purely on the information and experience we had with Terry. We trusted Terry and felt very comfortable with his recommendations and advice. We learned that most people are looking for the cheapest solution, as they do not plan to stay in their home long term. Our situation was unique as we wanted a longer lasting more durable product because we intend to occupy our home for the next 50 years. On Terry's recommendation, we opted for aluminum clad double hung windows, which seemed to be the most expensive option. No problem for us because we are firm believers in that "cheaper is not always better". Terry assured us that his own solar glass team would be doing the work. What we ended up getting was a great product installed by a subcontractor that could care less about the quality of the installation because it seemed like we were last place on the priority list and they wanted to finish it as quickly as possible. When people rush through things, they tend to make mistakes. Granted, we don't live in a million dollar house and the profit margin for our job was probably quite a bit less as a result, but that doesn't mean we're any less of a customer. The follow through and customer service was atrocious. After Terry sold us on the windows, we worked with multiple people that were supposed to be on site everyday, but we didnt even see them until after the install was "finished". The windows were installed in February and we're still wrestling with them to correct mistakes from their third-rate work, 4 months later..... I'm no painting prodigy, but the paint lines looked like a 3 year old went to town with finger paints. the painter didnt use drop cloths, leaving micro splatters on our bookcases, furniture and carpets. They came back several times to correct it and itgot progressively worse. I had to ask them to stop because it got so bad. They cited our uneven walls as the reason, yet i was able to repaint it within a weekend and get straight lines. I think perhaps i should introduce them to painter's tape? Hmm...... furthermore, the millwork contractor tried to substitute mdf when our contract stated our trim would be solid pine. When this was pointed out to the millwork team, they became angry with us because it meant going back and having to redo a few of the windows. Im sorry, but i take ownership for my mistakes and you shouldnt get bent out of shape with me, your customer, for identifying yours. In any case, the windows are worth the cost, but its the customer service, quality of work and lack of follow through and integrity that renders me unable to recommend this company to anyone. I believe you can buy Marvin windows from several different vendors. The trick is finding an ethical, skilled company to install them and finish the work properly, the first time! People seem to have lost a sense of pride in their work in this day and age and I'm shocked that a company who conducts themselves in this manner manages to stay in business. Like i said Terry was great(at first) and the windows themselves are great, but the things that matter most: installation, millwork, painting, were beyond subpar. read more

Last summer we had Solarglass replace 8 windows on our second floor, as well as 1 on the main floor and 1 in the basement. We worked very closely with Ed, who is incredibly knowledgeable and told me more about windows than I probably ever wanted to know. Though it took a little longer than we had hoped for the windows to arrive from the factory, the work was completed quickly and on time, and very much to our satisfaction. We went for some high-end windows and it was kind of pricey, but 6 months later we haven't had any issues whatsoever. The air leaks, rattles, wind noise, and heat loss have all disappeared. My wife and I are very happy with Solarglass's work, and will definitely be using them the next time we need new windows. Which will unfortunately probably be very soon, as we have a couple more original windows that have lost their seal, and we could use a new sliding glass door, etc. etc. read more

We have a 1904 house and are replacing a few windows at a time. Bobby and Gwanael at Signature Windows have been great to us and to our neighbors who recommended them. They have answered our questions, have responded quickly, and worked out follow-through issues with us after our first set of windows was installed. We had Marvin wood windows installed that are fabulous - they honor our historic house and function like a dream (no more drafty bedrooms). Bobby helped us recreate some decorative wood mullions so we wouldn't lose the character of our old windows. The price of windows and installation are comparable to other companies with similar products, but the quality seems to be the best. Great experience over all. read more

From the bid process through the project completion, everyone involved was very cordial and professional. The field crews did a great job of replacing eight existing windows.
