I've never had a flatter double cheeseburger in my life. It's as flat as a mcds McDouble and they didn't put lettuce in my burger? I still don't get how people hype this place up.

I had been wanting to try this place after I saw them featured on Instagram. I live fairly close by so I finally decided to try them out the other day. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint. When you walk in, the employees greet you with a smile. It was so cute and organized and clean. We proceeded to order our food and we sat down. The ladies here are great they brought out the food to our table. The burger was so huge and super flavorful. Had my fries with some ranch and loved that they had yellow chilies. Overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to try everything else they offer.

I heard good things about this place so I decided to check this place out. I placed an online order and I drove 15 min to get there. when I get there the worker tells me that the receipt didn't print on their end so she has to start marking the order at that moment. I wasn't upset because I know mistakes can happen. So I still waited even tho I had placed an online order. When I get my order, I then drive home to find out one of my burritos is missing. And one of our burritos had little to no sour cream. I called the restaurant which they told me to call a third party. The call took like 15 minutes all to see if I can "qualify" for a refund. And even though that call took 15 minutes I had to wait till the next day to see if I can get a refund or any type of reimbursement. They offered me a freaking taco, A FREAKIN TACO. And what I ordered was a burrito. They can't even reimburse me the right item ??? I wasted so much time there and on the phone it's not even funny. My experience was just terrible here. Horrible service.

I came here with my family and let me tell you the food does not disappoint. I came twice actually for dinner and for breakfast but on 2 different occasions. The service was good as well, they provide you with a number and they bring the food and pick up the food for you. It's a nice place to come and eat with the family. It can get a bit busy. Shout out to Oscar Hidalgo he was the cashier who helped us out very patient and was pur server as well very polite. Will I come again definitely!!!!! maybe next time by myself, my family is too expensive, lol JK . Will bring them

I have ate here twice and the first impression is still the same. The staff is very nice but that's not what I went there for. I have had The Workz platter-eggs were watery, sausage not cooked inside, hash browns was cooked outside but uncooked inside, ham was browned on the outside, chili fries was nicely arranged but the fries were hard and under fried, pancakes were good but a bit rubbery. I have decided this is not the place for me. The Jamaica is severely watered down, it is horrible. You can't even taste the tang, I doubt it is store made. The ice machine has black mold on it, when I worked fast food that had to be cleaned every night. read more

The food here is delicious Prices are great for the amount of food. We usually get the chorizo breakfast burrito. It's huge! And the Mickey Mouse pancakes for my daughter. The owner Juan is the nicest guy. Highly recommend you check this place out if you're in the AV. read more

This is one of the best family owned restaurants in the AV. Located in the corner Stater Bros. shopping center on Ave J and 20th St. East. They serve Mexican and American food. The turkey burger is my favorite. Also, their street tacos and made from scratch chicken tortilla soup. They're always fast and always friendly. read more

I give this place no stars. I ordered an early bird. The guy that took my order. I had to ask him what happened to my order. The young server dude was attentive. Then the guy that forgot my plate. He had the nerve to bring me some cold plate. I sat and watches 4 people get served in front of me. If you like good service. You taking a chance at this place. I picked my tip up too!!! read more

Great nachos but my son had a PASTRAMI COMBO....ugh! The pastrami was good but the bread was soaking wet (needed a straw to drink the bread). Service is great but stick to the mexican dishes when ordering. Next time gotta to try the ORTEGA CHEESE BURGER. read more

Tried a burger, not something one person can eat on their own, but left nothing to be desired. I had the mushroom Swiss burger, it was perfect, and came out pretty fast too. My son had the carne asada wet burrito and it was huge and extremely good. This was my first time coming here and will come back soon, the food was great and the staff was friendly. read more

In person experience was the worst my order was wrong, when I addressed the error to the front clerk. The response was rude and the manager was extremely rude and refused to correct my order or refund my money. I showed him my receipt of what I had ordered and he still refused to make the change and he had an attitude. read more

First let me same the name "THE WORKZ" is perfectly fitting for this restaurant. We went here for breakfast.. their portions are huge for a very low price you basically get pancakes or french toast with everything that you order! The wait time was very minimal... the food came out in a matter of minutes! We probably stood in line for about 3 minutes before ordering and after that the food came out within the next 10 minutes. Place was very relaxed and chill. They serve breakfast ALL DAY. Which is a huge plus for the weekend sleep in days for the breakfast lovers. We are vegetarians and they have many options for breakfast lunch or dinner. We had the Veggie omelette and Veggie skillet which came complete with hash browns/house potatoes and french toast (0.99) extra/pancakes or toast is standard. Food was amazing and proportions are more than generous! I'm going to become a regular at this place for sure! Make sure to check in on Facebook and receive 10% off your entire meal. read more

Good food and fast service. I haven't tried everything but the pancakes and breakfast meals are the bomb, and of course the chili cheese fries are good. They also have a good turkey burger, that's something in demand you can't get everywhere. read more

Went for the first time today for lunch. Had the double bacon cheeseburger. Very juicy and tasty from the grill. The price was super cheap at $5.99. This place was packed at lunchtime which is a good sign. Will try the burrito next time. read more

This place is nasty, had a whole 2 meals comped the next day. Got the food the next day it was still nasty meat was not seasoned still didn't put what we wanted nothing has any flavor not even chili cheese fries. Went here Tuesday 30mins b4 closing look it up on Yelp of course my favorite place for New places to eat .ordered the Wings,fries& zucchini about 11.00 man the dish was Delicious zucchini were huge fries & wings on point food was hot They stayed open until I got there ,customer service was fast and friendly from the 2 young ppl that complete my order .I will recommend to All I know and will return order there again Thanks for the good experience read more

Came for the first time did carry out service. The guy had charged me for 2 fries only asked for one, that's was a bit frustrating. I ordered a hamburger it wasn't all that great I would give them a 2nd chance but order something else. If your looking for a burger I recommend you to stick to you regular place. read more

This is our local joint. I've ate a variety of menu items and I haven't had any complaints. They get my order correct every time & usually I have quite a bit of special request lol. I would definitely recommend this place for those nights when everyone wants something different or when your unsure what to get....you'll be satisfied here? They serve everything from Burgers, Burritos, Fish, Breakfasts & even a healthy menu of delicious filling salads...my favorite! read more

This place was absolutely horrible!! The food was cold and their servers need a attitude adjustment. We had to keep asking for coffee etc., when i asked for a cup of water to go, she stated I needed to pay $2.78 plus tax!! Very rude person. This how this Estblimement treat their customers and my husband who is a retired veteran. We didn't even finish our food and they never asked if everything is ok or if they can get us something else. Great Burgers! Very reasonable prices. The burger was full of flavor and cooked exceptionally well. I don't know how they make it so juicy but it was dripping on my plate. Also the waitresses were very helpful and attentive. One if the better lunch experiences I've had. read more

They are nice people. You can tell It's a family owned restaurant. And they are just starting out. That being said Yes they have some misses. But it's a lot better than going to taco bell next door. I got the fried chicken. They use a wet batter like pioneer chicken. You LA natives know about that. I got the dinner a half chicken, two sides a salad 9.99 you can't get that at kfc. The pancakes are good. The Asada fries are good. I'm about to order the chicken fried steak. My wife is getting the fried chicken. And im getting breakfast tomorrow. read more

I then took out pieces of the half eaten sandwich to show him and he said "oh, I know exactly what that is, it's the plastic around it your sandwich wasn't prepped correctly, that's really bad I'm sorry I can give you a refund for it." As he is giving me the refund he asked if the other sandwich I purchased was ok, I told him that I have no idea because my son ate it quickly and there wasn't turkey so hopefully his meat didn't have plastic on it. He then did the refund and a coworker then said "you can just give her a full refund, I'm sorry you had to come back. Would you want your name down in our book to come in the future for a remake of the sandwich." I told her no shocked everyone is so "calm" about the error that they made because they were the ones making my sandwich. I'm also shocked that no one offered to remake my sandwich right then and there EVEN if it was closing time. The whole "oh man, that's too bad" response and attitude is mind blowing to me. It's not like my complaint is having mayo on my sandwich when I only wanted mustard...my complaint is that there was plastic all over my food, that I ate. It was an error that shouldn't have been made.

This restaurant is on 20th West, by Pep Boys, tucked way back in the parking lot. You are NOT likely to see this little spot from the street, so put it in your maps and head I over there. You will be glad you did!

You know what, I really enjoyed this place. The aesthetic of this restaurant feels really homie and welcoming. I appreciate that although my order was taken incorrect, they made sure to acknowledge and apologize and rectify my order without giving me an attitude. I can see that they really emphasize on providing good customer service and I really appreciate that because it draws me to come back. My chicken tostada salad was delicious and my husband enjoyed his turkey sandwich and zucchini dish as well. Overall, I think this will be our new food spot. Will be going back soon to try their breakfast. read more

I went back again yesterday and the food was amazing!!!!! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and got the chili cheese fries instead of regular fries. The burger was so juicy and the bacon was nice and crispy! The fries were not soggy and just how I like them. Also Maribel was really nice and helpful! She came and checked on me and always made sure I had what I needed. 10/10 would recommend !!!!!!!! read more

I LOVE chili cheese fries with a passion, Somehow they've figured out the best balance of ingredients. It's crisp and fresh in a way that no other breakfast burrito can compare to. The buffalo cheese fries are very good. They give you a huge portion and its good enough for two people. The staff is very friendly. The staff greets you with a smile and they do not rush you when you are ordering. I took off one star because the milk shakes are horrible. I am not sure ifs its old ice cream or what, but its not good. read more
