What an awful company. The new owner, Jackie, allowed her repairman to walk around my entire house without wearing booties. They have zero regard for your property. He walked across my grass which Jackie says is against company policy. He also did not wear booties, again which Jackie said is a violation of company policy. To make matters worse, Jackie was at my house while this was going on and didn't once think to advise her repairman to wear booties. I saw the repairman walk across my grass as well as an oil stain on my pavers, and then he tracked that all over my house. What an absolute disgrace! Extremely hard pass on these jokers! read more

We purchased new windows from Windows Place Plus last year. We needed a small repair on one of our windows so I called them and happened to mention that we are in the process of getting new gutters. I was told that Windows Place Plus sells gutters, so I was happy to get a quote from them as we are very happy with our windows. Their quote was very competitive so we agreed to have them do our gutter job. Their crew came out and did a great job installing our new gutters and removing the old ones, They cleaned up well after finishing in about 2 hours and everything looks great. My home siding project was multi-faceted in that I wanted to also replace my range hood with a new one which would vent to the outside. Additionally two garage windows needed replacement and my 19 foot retractable awning needed to be reinstalled to a capped sturdy horizontal board structure at the patio location. I called the Window Place Plus (Owner: Mark Anderson) to receive a quote for a new front door. Mark is a very honest and upfront guy. No pressure to sell whatsoever. Mark is very nice and easy going. I did not feel the need to get a quote anywhere else, due to the reviews I read, and how Mark treated us. He explained everything to a tee, showed pictures from his catalogs, and we settled a few days later and everything was understood. I left a deposit for the door. A bit later, Rory came over to spec out all the measurements. As soon as the door was installed, I was highly impressed. John & Greg were excellent installation guys, and the installation was perfect. Completely level, insulated, caulked perfectly; the works. I couldn't recommend Mark's company more. There was not one problem with contacting and information relay. I now have a very beautiful front door with full glass, and the door is great quality, heavy, and perfect for me. Not only will I not take down my original review, I will add that your comments are inaccurate. It is almost a full year and we are still not satisfied. The manufacturer has kept us waiting another 7-8 weeks without resolving the issue of daylight coming through the bottom of the door, possibly because they were not properly installed by your company originally. The gap between the doors is uneven from top to bottom. You might know that if you had ever followed up with us. We were promised they would be back out with a final solution within 2 weeks, but we continue to wait. You may have returned a call quickly, but only for you to say you'd look into it and then we waited and waited and at times had to reach out to you again to get any response. Then we were told we would hear from the manufacturer, but you never followed up to see if we were contacted or if we were satisfied. So, we were forced to deal directly with the manufacturer. You laughed at me when I called about the dent and said it was impossible. When you agreed to have the manufacturer come look, you were shown the dent which was visible when a level was placed on the door. In fact, there was a similar indentation on the inside of the same panel, and the manufacturer agreed to replace the panel. Please do not send people past our home unless we can show them pictures of the issues that your installers left when the doors were originally installed. It took a few return trips by your installers to rectify sloppy, unfinished areas, some of which could have been pointed out if they had worked on our home when we were home/present, as we requested. As for my husband, please do not misrepresent his point of view. He is the person who encouraged me to write my original review and fully supports everything it says. He is equally as frustrated that we have had to fend for ourselves to get this resolved. Also, if you actually cared about us as a customer, a phone call to discuss the review would have shown that you cared rather than posting inaccurate information in an attempt to defend yourself. Original review: We placed an order in June 2018. Still do not have satisfaction. New door was damaged and the manufacturing co has brought a replacement 3x that has been unacceptable. They keep sending the same door without any quality control. Originally told 7-8 weeks, then after receiving no info about delivery and having to call Mark (owner of WPP) was told he didn't know a delivery date but knew the manufacturer was backlogged. Never bothered to inform us. He said he never told me 7-8 weeks. (He wrote up to 17 weeks on the invoice to cover himself but verbally promised that new door would be in before summer ended. It finally came late Sept. When we noticed dents in the door, Mark was very condescending and my husband had to convince him to come out with a rep from manufacturing co. That didn't happen until late Oct. We were assured we'd get a new door early Dec and Mark begged us to give him payment in full. Against our better judgement we did. Early Dec came and went and I reached out to Mark. Again he was condescending and said he would find out a date but didn't, so we contacted manufacturer on our own. End of Dec new door arrives with new issues. We've reached out to Mark several times since then and he never gets back to us, there's no follow through. Beware the slick tongued salesman! read more

My new home's windows are all foggy and spotty, and they need to be replaced. I have been trying to avoid replacing the entire window not only because it's expensive, but complicated. My home owner association has their rules and requires their approval, requires to match the brown color outside, requires the roof and siding company to come back to check on the new window installation to make sure the no one screw up the siding so siding warranty won't be voided. However, I have no luck in finding the manufacturer info on the window. There are some printed label but the printed information are all faded. A glass shop told my windows are indeed not insulated glass unit, they were just two panes of glass, low E on the outside and clear glass on the inside. It was the low E went bad, and the seal of on the sash cracked. The glass shop said even if they replaced the glass, same thing is going to happen in 3-5 years. No one knows who made these big sliding windows, and I have 5 of them. I lost hope and decided to go with window replacement. I searched online and found The Window Place Plus has good reviews, which they deserve by the way. So, I gave them a call on 7/14/2015. Patty took my call, she was very friendly and helpful in scheduling an appointment with the owner Mark Anderson for a free estimate. She told me the first appointment will not be available until next week. I asked if she can fit me in the next day because I already took a day off for something else. She made some arrangements and fit me right in. Mark Anderson called me before his arrival. He is a very nice gentlemen, very honest, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As soon as he saw my windows, he was so excited to tell me he knew the manufacturer of my windows (without me asking him). He even told me there is warranty! All I need is to file warranty claim with them to get new sash. He gave me the manufacturer's contact information, helped me measure all windows size, and tell me the model of each windows I have. Instead of selling me new windows, he was here spending an hour helping with my existing windows. When I asked Mark how much it would cost if I have to replace all these windows, he said it would be at least $3000. I highly recommend Window Place and Plus. They are just like they advertised. No high pressure salesman involved, you are dealing with the owner directly. It's a company you can trust. As with many older homes, there has been decades of settling that has occurred that has made many of our rooms and windows unlevel (some 3-4" off level). The house had a lot of woodwork accents that added character to the house. Specifically routed trim on top of almost all of the windows. Search for contractor: When we researched siding companies, we invited 4-5 for estimates. We knew that with the vinyl siding, we wanted the windows and doors capped. However, we wanted to make sure the house retained its character as an older home. We had many vendors show up for measurement, and estimates who never provided us a total cost. Why Window Place Plus: 1. Mark Anderson's (owner). My wife and I went into this project looking for a fair price, not the cheapest (we've lived that nightmare before). We were looking for a partner in the project, spending time on the job to do it right. Mark spent enough time with us through the measurement and estimate process, but gave us enough space to breathe and make our own decisions. His experience was very helpful throughout the process. He did not oversell the project, in fact made recommendations that saved us money. During the entire project, Mark was easily accessible, and took all steps to make sure hickups were remedied to our satisfaction. 2. Product: We were impressed with the quality of products that he uses compared to his competitors. The available colors and quality seemed light years ahead of what other vendors were showing us. 3, Quality of work. Of course the references that any vendor gives is going to that of their best work. After visiting and looking at the quality their work, the durability over the years, we walked away very impressed. We recently hired Mark Anderson and his company, The Window Place for new windows, siding, and gutters. From the beginning, Mark was low pressure and professional. November 2013 - We just had our roof replaced by Windows Place Plus, as well as 2 kitchen windows. The roof looks amazing and the work was done in an efficient manner. The workers were pleasant and all debris from the old and new roof was cleaned up immediately. In our kitchen we had an old bay window replaced, as well as 2 crank out easement windows. The new bay is GORGEOUS! We love the new windows, they really have brightened up our kitchen. The windows were also installed efficiently and the workers kept us informed all day as to their progress.
