Jack was great. He came by to check out my garage door opener and found out that the opener was no longer receiving signals and needed to be replaced. He didn't charge me, but gave me quotes for a similar opener and the silent kind. Since I asked, he also gave me quotes to replace my front door and windows. I setup time for him to come back on Monday to install the new opener. On Monday he let me know that his weekend job had been delayed and he was still finishing it. He wasn't finished until 4-5pm, but still offered to come over and complete the installation that night. We went ahead with it and I'm SO happy to have the new, quieter, more modern model. I can control it from my phone, get notifications if it's open, or use the new car remote or wall-mounted key pads. We have wanted to replace our old garage door and rotting frame for a while but were wary of some of the other garage door companies in the area. Several told us they could only provide the door, not the carpentry work for a new frame, etc. Tony from Philly Doors came recommended from a contractor and exceeded our expectations. He came out to provide an estimate the same day I called and kept us updated on the timing of when our custom-sized door would be ready (he got it in just a few days when others had projected weeks!). He came on a Saturday morning and had both our old door and our rotted frame removed and replaced with the new frame and new door by that night, and then came back the next morning to finish hooking up the LiftMaster opener and painting the frame. He even did some electrical rewiring in the garage to make the opener work, and he removed an old heater that was hanging from our ceiling (totally not necessary as part of this job). All in all the whole project took less than two days to complete, and it was all done less than a week since we first met with him for the initial measurements and estimate. I can't believe how fast Tony was, and so professional and easy to work with. We just left him alone and let him do his thing, and we were so pleased with the result. We thought we hired PhillyDoors to replace our door. Initial visit was timely and pricing was competitive. We decided to proceed and both my wife and I took off work to be home on installation day. They were supposed to show up early in the AM (no later than 9am). By the time the installers showed up around noon, they'd brought the wrong parts and went to go look for the right ones. When they returned (with only one person, oddly), he said it was too late in the day and that they'd reschedule. We called, texted, and left messages but did not hear back.
