Peretta Overhead Door was great to work with. Their pricing was very reasonable and they responded quickly, even during a holiday, which I really appreciated. The customer service was friendly and professional from start to finish. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. read more

I strongly suggest to use this company. They are very fair. They are not out to upsell anybody they do a very neat job. They leave the job the way they found it very high quality work read more

Perretta Overhead Door--work done fast and done right! A few weeks ago, as I backed out of my garage, I noticed that the trim around the garage door was coming down even more than it had been. I was afraid that I would get to the point where I might find myself backing out one day and pulling down the entire border of the garage. My auto shop recommended Perretta Overhead Door. I called them and described the problem to them. They said they would take care of it. I went out to run a few errands. Upon my return, the job was completed They didn't even bother to ring the bell to alert my wife that they were here. The new border was the same color and had been applied smoothly. It looked a lot better than when I left. We were billed a few weeks later. The price was fair. It would be a wonderful world if all contractors performed as well! read more

Quick response when we called regarding an issue with our door after heavy rain recently. It only opened a few feet but not all the way. They called us back and were able to get us on schedule quickly for an inspection. Turns out it the door, springs and opener were fine, it just needed an adjustment. Perretta got us back on track and also supplied emergency keys so I could trigger the pull chain from the outside. They also provided a quote for new door installation. Would definitely use them again for any issues in the future. read more

Fast, affordable, friendly service. We needed a new garage door as the one that came with our house finally gave up. We found Perretta via a Havertown Facebook search and received lots of glowing reviews. I inquired about a door on August 12th, we received an email that the door was finished on Aug 19th (originally it was supposed to take maybe 2 weeks which was fine as we were going to be away on vaca), and it was installed on the 26th. The gentlemen were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend. read more

This company installed a garage door in my Havertown rental house and did great work. Because of that, I asked the owner, Joe, if he would install a door in my home in Philadelphia, even though it's outside his service area. He agreed. The door was finally installed, but it was never centered from the outside, and several calls and emails over the last 9 or so months have gotten me nowhere. I finally realized that they measured the new door incorrectly and it's too wide. Instead of realizing that (as they had to change the position of the rails to adjust for the width) and ordering a new door, they installed the one they had and it looks just awful. They've essentially written me off as a customer because of where I live, even though they agreed to the work. I'm very disappointed in their lack of response. read more

Perretta Overhead Garage Doors - extra width on door prevents centering and the door is ill-fitting on top right side - Garage Door Services Near Me - Havertown, Pennsylvania

Very responsive, smooth installation, love our new garage door! Joe and his team at Perretta Overhead Garage Doors helped us through the process to get the right garage door for us. Our custom made garage took a bit to get manufactured due to issues outside of Perretta's control (ie. recent backlogs in the supply chain). However, as soon as our garage door was ready, Joe worked with us to get an immediate install - fitting us into their schedule. The installation was smooth. If you need a new garage door or service, we recommend Joe and his team at Perretta! - Patrick read more

NOTE: Not a review for services rendered because they don't cover my area. I called because I'm having problems with my garage door remotes, and they started giving me tips on what the problem could be. When they found out that I'd already tried their suggestions, they make a recommendation for a company that does cover my area. What great service from a company that can't expect a single dollar out of me! read more

A great company with fabulous response! Left a message on Sunday and got a call first thing Monday morning. They were at my house at 9 AM! Fixed issues and charged me a very very reasonable price. Highly recommend. Second time I have used them (last time was in early 2021) read more

Owner was super responsive and sent a crew out same day. Job was done professionally and at a fair price. Would recommend Perretta to anyone

The guys at Perretta are worth all the hype. I chose them based on their Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. They turned my rusted, old, pull out carriage door into something to be proud of. They even fixed the framing of the door to make sure everything was flush. It did take longer than expected for them to come out, but that was due to the door taking longer to be delivered. I attached the before and after photo of my garage. There is still work to be done, but the garage door and frame look fantastic. read more

So your garage door is sick and needs an overhaul or maybe you need a completely new door with all the fixins. Choice #1- You visit a big box home improvement store and talk with semi-clueless people. Then you need to choose an installer from the infamous list. Choice#2- You call up a local family-run company that has been doing nothing but garage doors for decades and has a reputation for excellent service and prices. Choice #2 is the way to go. Unless you have the IQ of a golf ball you'll call Perretta. They were a complete joy to work with. Expect quality products but just as important, excellent service! read more

We reached out to Joe Perretta to replace my dad's automatic garage doors. They did a fantastic job and were very kind to my 87 year old dad. They were patient and answered all his questions. They also did a beautiful job of cleaning up and taking away the old equipment. The new door operators are quiet and work great! Perretta was also very reasonably priced and punctual. I highly recommend Perretta Overhead Garage Doors. Thanks for your wonderful service! Barb C. read more

One of the most professional contractors I have worked with in a long time. Professional, considerate along with timely communication. It would be so nice if all contractors were more like this company. Perretta beautifully installed a new garage door at my house which is over 100 years old. It is rare to find contractors that know how to troubleshoot the nuances of an old home. read more

Replaced a big box store door that was pretty banged up and deteriorating (literally coming apart). Jeff came out and did a quick repair of the door until the special order door (oversized) came in.
