Suburban provides top notch service. We've used this company's services numerous times throughout the years. Every time we have been given top notch, rapid service that was friendly and professional. Last Friday we called them and left a voice mail message at about 5:30 p.m. Our garage door refused to stay down. They called us back within 20 minutes, diagnosed the situation, and taught us by phone how to temporarily remedy our problem. On Monday a technician figured out that the beams were not aligning properly. He fixed it. Done. We are simply very pleased with how this business conducts itself. The torsion spring broke on our garage door late in the afternoon. I sent a message to Suburban from their website later that night, not thinking it would ever get a response. Well, the next day, at 720am the office called me and said they would be out the same day to make repairs. Sure enough, a very professional man named Destin called around noon and said he was on his way. Destin was extremely professional and did a great job replacing the spring in about an hour. If I could give zero stars I would, but unfortunately I have to give 1 undeserved star in order to write a review. It would be hard to imagine being provided with worse service than the experience I had with this company. I went through several installation errors and a manufacturing defect that the company has refused to address. So at the end of the day, I paid thousands of dollars for a poorly installed defective product. There are companies out there with much better prices. I foolishly paid up because I thought I'd be getting superior service, but I was very very mistaken. Don't make the same mistake that I made. read more

I have had only excellent service from this company. I always get a live person when I call, who gives me free troubleshooting advice and/or promptly sends out a workman when needed. Suburban Overhead Doors's employees have been to my house twice: once to install a new garage door, and once to install a new opener. Their very reasonable installation prices included haul-away of the old door and opener. Both jobs were done quickly and with excellent attention to detail -- especially with the opener, which is a direct drive model not common in the US. This is the first time that I have ever written a review. I felt that I needed to write what a wonderful job Tom at Suburban Overhead Doors did. Our garage door was broken and bent. We had quotes that we needed a whole new garage door installed which would have cost us easily almost two thousand dollars. I told Suburban that we might need a new garage door. Tom ended up coming out the very same day that I called. He fitted us in at the end of the day when he should have been home with his family! He was a miracle worker and was able to salvage our garage door and fix the bent frame the very same day! My garage door is back up and working and just like new if not better!
