Visited Cork & Craft for the first time on Saturday with my girlfriend, and the overall experience was a 10 out of 10! We heard the live band playing and loved the old-school songs. The staff at the front door were super friendly, and the manager, Mike, came over to welcome us and walk us through the drinks, appetizers, and entrées. We sat at the bar, where Travis took great care of us. He explained the specials, made us a couple of mocktails, and helped us get an appetizer ordered. We really enjoyed listening to the music while waiting for our food. I had the steak and rice, and my girlfriend had the salmon risotto. We enjoyed both, and the chef even came out to check on us and ask how everything tasted. The entire staff was amazing. We had been looking forward to trying out this place for a couple months, having tried 2 other times but it was crowded and we couldn't wait the time stated. We went in for my birthday dinner and after waiting several minutes before being greeted and walked to a table in the far corner (which would normally not matter, except there were a lot of empty tables available). We looked over the menu and decided to share a couple appetizers and enjoy a drink. The wait for our server (the same guy who greeted and sat us) was Longer than we felt it should've been (because it's pretty empty) and from that time on it was a lot of waiting ... once our food came (the server dropped our mustard that goes with the pretzels, and said she'd be back... 2 min later I saw her delivering food to another table- I grabbed us some silverware from behind us and we started eating- the food tasted excellent but still no mustard or plates for our appetizers, luckily our server was there and asked how everything was, we told him about the mustard mishap and that after tasting the beer cheese asked if instead of the mustard he could just get us another cheese he said he would (more waiting, but it did arrive) we finished our meal and waited - my husband finally said; what happened to our waiter? Do you see him anywhere? No where for a couple minutes then I found him, behind the bar talking with the bartender, then at the bar register talking to a waitress (6 min later he finally started looking around- but NOT in our direction - ugh) we had been waiting 14 min total before he finally looked in our direction and we waved him over to our table to ask for our bill and a to go box. On our bill he charged us for the extra cheese we asked for as a substitute for the mustard that was dropped- WTF!? The food was good, but unfortunately the service was so bad we will never go back. read more

From the moment we walked through the door at Cork & Craft, it felt like we had stumbled onto one of those rare neighborhood restaurants that genuinely understands hospitality. We were immediately greeted by smiling hostesses and quickly shown to our table. Our server, Zachary, was exceptional. Attentive without hovering, warm without feeling rehearsed, and seemingly everywhere at once. Over the 90 minutes we were there, I don't think he stopped moving. Whether helping guests, clearing dishes, resetting tables, or simply making sure everyone was taken care of, he did it all with the same smile and genuine courtesy. What impressed me most was that the hospitality wasn't limited to our server. One of the hostesses stopped by our table just to see how we were enjoying ourselves and stayed for a little conversation. It's a small gesture, but those are the moments that turn dinner at a restaurant into something memorable. Add a guitarist performing in the background, a warm, relaxed setting, and an upbeat energy throughout the room, and Cork & Craft manages to feel polished without ever feeling pretentious. And then there's the food. I had the Cajun Chicken Risotto, which was absolutely delicious...rich, flavorful, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down because you don't want it to disappear too quickly. We somehow found room for dessert afterward, with several tempting options to choose from. Great food can bring you into a restaurant once. Genuine hospitality makes you want to come back. My friends and I were in the mood for some live music and wanted to try a new restaurant, so we decided to check out Cork & Craft. We came for Thursday night happy hour and stayed to listen to the band. Marble Heart Trio was fantastic! I also appreciated that the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't carry on a conversation. A huge plus. Since it was our first time here, we decided to share several appetizers. Every single one was delicious! We ordered the loaded mashed potatoes, grilled shrimp skewers, the beer cheese pretzel board, and the Angus beef sliders with shoestring fries. Everything was perfect for sharing, and we finished every bite. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. We're already looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu. My friends and I were looking for some live music with good food and this is it!!!! We came for happy hour and enjoyed some delicious appetizers. There were 4 of us and we shared 5 appetizers. We had such a great time at Cork & Craft. This place is such a gem for us since it is literally across the street from home, and it never disappoints. The energy is always on point and the live music just takes the whole experience up another level. The tinga tostadas were absolutely amazing. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The wine selection is superb, with enough variety to keep things interesting every time we come in. I do wish they had a few more steak options, but the New York is not an easy cut to get right and they nailed it. Cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. What an amazing find! So very glad I came across this restaurant by accident on line. We visited last night to celebrate my birthday and both my husband and I agree how wonderful the entire visit was! The menu is unique and the ambiance is very pleasant. They had live music playing - Danny Austin. The music was upbeat and just playing at the right level - meaning we didn't have to scream at each other to hear our conversation within the restaurant. I did make reservations via the yelp app and we were greeted promptly upon entering. The hostess seated us quickly and provided us with water shortly thereafter. The staffing arrangement was unique in that we were greeted by Alissa who explained to us the menu options, the fact that it was still happy hour and what options were available then. She provided details about the menu and answered our questions and offered suggestions to us when we explained this was our first visit. My husband had the blackened shrimp tacos and I had the friend chicken entree. We also had the calamari tapa - which by the way, during happy hour, ALL tapas are discounted! The calamari was oh so yummy - lightly coated and not overly breaded. The blackened shrimp tacos were quite tasty according to my husband who ate all 3!!! Those were served with basmati rice with a seasoning that went well with the tacos he said. The shrimp were large and served just right, not overcooked. My friend chicken was to die for! Again, the breading was just right, and the chicken breast used was definitely piping hot and oh so tender and juicy! The gravy, well, my only recommendation - ask for more because it is AMAZING!!!! And I should make a special note that Alissa went out of her way to wish me a happy birthday and even provided a complimentary birthday desert to top off our meal. She explained it was a brookie... a mix between a brownie and a cookie served with blueberries and strawberries, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Hubby & I had dinner here last night. We arrived a little before 5:00 & we did not have a reservation. There were 2 hostesses as we talked in. The bar top is open seating, but it was pretty full. We ordered the cheese & pretzel board. Hubby had the sliders & added fries. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, no honey hot sauce or tomato. I also asked for a side of ranch, which they charge you $1 for. The pretzels were good again. The cheese sauce, mustard & pickles are good. We had a whole pretzel to take home. Love this neighborhood gem and brought a friend who had never been before. I was raving about their Brussels sprouts, and while they weren't quite as crispy as the first time I had them, everything was still super tasty and it's always a good time here. The service is consistently on point, everyone is always so patient and sweet. This was my first time coming back where they opened up the space, and I loved the indoor-outdoor vibe. I also came on a night without live music, which was actually really nice because I got to experience the restaurant in a different atmosphere. My hope? Caught them on a bad night. I've read about this place and had people suggest this place and in checking it out? I'm sadly not super impressed. We rolled up at 5:45 on a Friday expecting it to be busy and it was... because there was a wedding event blocking most of the venue (totally fine and good for business so good for them!). The issue? Only a couple of servers were assigned there but ALL of the servers seemed overwhelmed by it. It took about ten minutes for our server to greet us and take our drink order and then another 5-10 minutes before we got our two beers. We ended up sticking with our original tapas order of sliders and our beers and even with just those things we were sitting for about 40 minutes. That's WAY too long for apps and drinks anywhere. It also made us decide not to have our full meal here which is why I only tried the sliders. Sliders were mediocre at best but not gross and server was kind albeit so slow and everything was overpriced for the portion it's crazy (it was happy hour by the way). Gave two stars because service and food wasn't god awful but literally everything could have been better. Will not be returning unfortunately. read more

It's nice this place is open for lunch. I do think it's a bit crowded in there but maybe they are full in the evenings. There is live music on the stage and people probably go and eat while they listen. I like they can open the huge window in the front leading to the patio. My wife and I made the drive from about an hour and a half away to visit Cork & Craft for the first time, and from beginning to end, it was an evening that was absolutely worth the drive. We were looking for a great place to enjoy dinner, have some drinks, listen to live music, and spend some quality time together, and Cork & Craft delivered on every level. From the moment we arrived, Michael made us feel genuinely welcomed. His hospitality, professionalism, and attention to his guests really stood out. He took the time to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and he gave us the kind of customer service you hope to receive when visiting a restaurant but don't always experience. As the General Manager, he clearly takes pride in both his restaurant and the experience he provides to his guests. The food was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks as well. Michael, you may remember me as the guest who asked for a Long Island Iced Tea because I'm originally from Long Island, New York. You asked me if I had ever tried a Grateful Dead, and I hadn't. You put me on to a new drink, and I have to say, I really loved it! So if you happen to remember the guy from Long Island who came in wanting a Long Island Iced Tea and left having discovered a Grateful Dead, that's me! That was one of those small but memorable moments that made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere at Cork & Craft was also a big part of what made the night special. Being able to sit back, enjoy a good meal and drinks, and listen to Painted Soul perform made for a great combination. The live music added another dimension to the evening and helped turn dinner into a complete night out. I also want to specifically recognize our waiter, Isaiah. He provided excellent service throughout our visit. He was attentive, professional, courteous, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Everyone we encountered contributed to a welcoming, comfortable, and enjoyable environment. Another thing that made my experience with Michael especially meaningful was learning that he is a Marine veteran. As a U.S. Air Force veteran myself, I have tremendous respect and appreciation for those who have served our country. This was our first time at Cork & Craft, and we genuinely didn't know what to expect. Cork & Craft has been the highlight of my week! I was lucky to attend a yelp dinner here. I was able to indulge in some empanadas, buffalo chicken, wings,Brussels sprouts, shrimp, and steak. The restaurant that was here previously was the Wild Vine, which we have frequented multiple times. Last week was the first time coming to the location under its new ownership and operating as Cork & Craft. They have retained the staff almost in its entirety. They've made some changes to the layout of the restaurant, but it essentially still has the local neighborhood feel. There was formerly more space with a back room, but it was not really used - and that whole space has been walled up. They still have a great menu and specialty cocktails. The live music was great, music leans more country. At least the night that we went. And he was great. It was a Saturday night, and looks like they were fully staffed. There wasn't any unusual long wait for drinks or food. Look forward to coming back, so glad we still have this local gem! read more

They did not disappoint. burger was cooked mid well juicy for a flavor, the pickles. Let's just say it was spicy and savory, sweet and savory savory. The fries were light and fluffy. Krispy and delicious. Was not expecting it. Arrived when they first opened. So of course. It wasn't very crowded. So the service was excellent. The inside hadn't changed very much from the previous owners. But it was comfy, relaxing. And we had a nice time. Oh yeah, let's talk about this old fashion. It was probably one of the smoothest old-fashioned. I've had in a while. I savored every sip. I don't know how his place got away from me. They were gracious enough to put our cake a guest brought back in the fridge for us. I've been here prior and I was anxious to share my new spot with all my friends. The food and drinks were excellent and the service, once we got service, was excellent too. We did have to wait 15 minutes before the server stopped at our table. If you like an Old Fashioned, they have the best one I have ever had. $18 but amazing! It was a beautiful evening and the doors & windows were open so all could enjoy it! We shared three different items and we both enjoyed them all. My complaint is the table and chairs. Both were leaning about 1-1/2" so we had to put our weight on them to level them. Walked in and there were a few tables, but it was still early in the evening so we sat immediately but then that's where the service ended. There were servers at the bar area. There was a server at the hostess station, and there was even a server that checked on a table behind us, but not one single person said hi to us or I'll be right with you I could understand if I hadn't seen available servers or the table behind us getting checked on twice!! Had a way better dinner experience than lunch. Aside from server completely forgetting about my cocktail and finding a hair in my fries...don't EVER order the chicken wrap. That thing fell apart before it even made it to the table. The "Big" crunchy chicken sandwich was neither big or crunchy. What was big was the mounds of lettuce and tomatoes.
