This place everything you need. Great location, magnificent decor, and flawless atmosphere. I was literally just spending a couple of hours in the Cincinnati/Covington area on the way to Lexington. And when looking for the perfect spot to relax for a bit the Well came up. And what a perfect choice. The service was great, the patrons as well as the staff all friendly and wonderful. It definitely brought back the feeling of being home in Miami's Wynwood district or Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas. So, if you ever find yourself in Covington, do yourself a favor and make a stop at The Well. You won't regret it!

What a great bar found in the heart of Covington. The bartender Ashley was very friendly and attentive. They have food service that is placed at the back of the bar. We didn't eat but menu looked good. I leveled the "fireplace". Very cozy and comfy.

Love the building! Right in the front is a room with an electric fireplace that reminds me of a living room! I was alone, so sat at the bar. Staff was welcoming. Drink was fabulous...some of my favorite things like Elderflower and Lemon in vodka. There is a food pop up in the back which I will review later...but it was "Great" as Tony the Tigar would say! I was here right after they opened and it wasn't crowded, and I loved all the spaces. Parking is by meter. Drink was so very good I even had a second before my meter ran out. That's winning.

We got there around 10:30. First time here! The music was really good, the bartender was nice and the drink was awesome!

Fun, chill spot to grab a drink with friends! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and they have a fireplace outside for cooler seasons. Their seasonal drink menu is fun and delicious, and their bartenders are friendly and attentive. You can also order food at the Grub pickup window inside near the back. Everything I've had so far has been tasty!

Drink prices a little high, but good. Went for Clue themed pub crawl....only place that had a hard riddle! Windows at bar open up so in summer/busy they can handle both sides! Pretty cool...never seen a bar do that! Other side has a huge patio and a large fire pit!

This is a really cool place. Inside and outside and upstairs seating. They do have food as well. We had the Mac and cheese. Pretty good with a beer. Plenty of room to hang outside in the patio area or upstairs or at the bar. Street parking 8am to 9pm. $ 1 per hour.

Great space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Comfortable chairs and sofas throughout. The bartenders were attentive and the food we ordered from the back window, delicious.

Amazing ambiance at this bar with a super friendly bartender (that has a phenomenal taste in music) and great drinks! Just grabbed some beers with friends midday but I will be sure to stop by one night for trivia or for a fun weekend night!

Came here for Tuesday Trivia and decided to get some food from Grub Local. Ummm it is amazing, unique, and delicious. Think American food with a flare. It took literally 10 minutes to come out and was amazing. The outside area is super fun for a warm night and the trivia put the frosting on the cake for a good weeknight outting

Great out door seating area friendly staff. Excellent option for a happy hour with friends. Solid menu of appetizers, sliders and snack-able options. I enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sliders they definitely understood the assignment and used chicken thighs! The house spicy strawberry margarita was delicious as well.

This bar is a great addition to the Covington scene. Tons of TVs for all of your sports needs, cocktails were excellent and at a great price, and a light bites menu coming soon! They have a cute outdoor patio that is gonna be killer in the summer. Can't wait for the official opening soon!

Really cute spot with ample seating and an airy feel. There are large televisions above the bar for watching sports, will definitely return if there's a game on to watch! Worth mentioning, the bartending staff were so kind and had such positive vibes! This was my first time in and they explained to us that the food is entirely separate from the bar. You order your food at a window at the back of the restaurant and the entire restaurant functions separately from there. It worked smoothly as they weren't busy and we didn't have to wait in multiple lines. Once you order your food at the window and pay they hand you a buzzer to alert you when your order is ready for pick up from the window. All non-alcoholic beverages have to be purchased there, you cannot buy coffee for example at the bar. They had a sandwich board menu of breakfast options at the window, didn't know they offered brunch food until we walked back there - nice surprise! My friend ordered the breakfast hash and gave a good review. I ordered the Caesar brussels sprouts, and they were charred and absolutely delicious. We split the beignets which were a tasty treat. It was too cold to utilize the patio this trip, but it looks awesome, and almost as large as the indoor portion! Can't wait to return in spring!

Pimento cheese burger sliders with a side of Brussels, house made cheese sticks, and hanky panky balls!

It was definitely worth the wait! We drove an hour to get there and since it's tough to time the drive during rush hour, we ended up being 30 minutes early but the staff was so friendly and welcoming right away. The event included a welcome cocktail, gin tasting, a tapas bar, live music, and a flower truck outside with a florist making up individual bouquets. Even without all those perks, it's just a really cozy place to hang out and have a delicious gin cocktail. Two of the staff individually told us about upcoming events and live music and encouraged us to come back. We will absolutely return and bring some friends with us next time!

There were only 3 of us, so we figured ordering a few plates would suffice... except when our server told us we would need way more. We were a bit surprised to be told that everything basically came in twos or was a very small portion! (Confusing because when I think family style I think BIG plates) This is a TAPAS place... family style but small appetizers and drinks style restaurant!! So you probably won't leave here full!! The server was kind and very knowledgeable! She gave us plenty of time to pick and choose! We decided on bread w/ oil & salsa ($11), guac & tostones ($13), ceviche of the day ($22), 2 chicken skewers ($19), 2 pork belly tacos ($16), & 3 beef empanadas ($22.5) I will say all of the food was PHENOMENAL... chicken skewers were perfect (might be spicy for some), ceviche (red snapper our day) was my favorite... just a super small portion for $22, empanadas were perfect, and the oils and bread was top notch!! Seriously have nothing bad to say about the food (BRAVO Chef Jose Salazar.... You really know how to do your thing!!!!) I loved it and really enjoyed my time, but if you're looking for a fancy, cute, SMALL dinner vibe - this would be the jackpot find! Or even a drink/apps before a bigger dinner date. (But if you're looking for a traditional large family style meal, I wouldn't go here) Our bill ended up over $150, but when divided it was really only around $55 each!! Not too bad for a fun fancy meal! I would love to come here again and try more, especially knowing the menu has lots of daily rotations (ex. The ceviche) Thank you again for a lovely experience!!!

Food: 5/5 Dishes are explained as slightly larger plates than tapas style. My favorites: Wood Grilled Octopus, Crispy Falafel, Bouillabaisse. Love the Moroccan Mint Tea as well! Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
